Hermès presents its new home collections during Milan design week 2021 inside la pelota jai alai, an indoor sports center in the heart of Brera.
Transformed into a ‘village’ of monolithic chambers, the space immerses visitors in the french brand‘s universe and latest creations.
The five architectural volumes are each wrapped in unique, colorful graphic patterns, while they all rest on a bed of terracotta-hued sand.
Within this immersive setting designed by charlotte macaux perelman, Hermès introduces visitors of Milan design week 2021 to its latest creations.
Oscillating between tradition and innovation, the collections on view demonstrate unique know-how, a fundamental part in the creative process, developed by working with leather, textiles, metals and stone. the new collections embrace the simplicity of an elegance that gives way to refinement and comfort.
The objects are designed as connections between materials, ranging from paper microfibres, to white cashmere felt and chiselled stone.
The artisan’s meticulous designs and the magic of fire-based arts constantly evoke the hand that has shaped them to experience.
