I'd love to go to an Onsen. But I am a little worried. For two reasons, first I have a tattoo on my left upper arm. And second I pretty sure it is considered rude not to eat something even if you don't like it.
It's okay to leave what you don't like when it comes to meals. Additionally, some ryokans offer accommodation plans without meals, so dining at restaurants in the onsen town is also an option. We recommend inquiring with the ryokan beforehand regarding tattoos. We hope you find an Onsen Ryokan that suits you perfectly!
