The one WWE wrestler that ECW eventually respected was Edge. Since Edge Lita and Mick Foley put up a great performance and a victory against Tommy Dreamer, Terry Funk and Beulah. And how entertaining of a match it was!!! And when Edge later in a motorcycle helmet, speared Cena through the table in Cena's match against RVD. Where ECW fans would literally have rioted if Cena won.

I think WWE likes to talk about how bad Cena got treated simply because it was for the title and there's more they can censor. I just watched both of these clips back to back and Orton had it WAY worse than Cena

At the end of the match as Orton was going backstage, he called for two refs to help him out. He was perfect that night and knew exactly how to get under their skin.
Just imagine if overrated Roman walked out to this ECW crowd. He would get eaten alive.

Man his entrance was insane here. Man was not only a heel but was having trash thrown at him and all the great chants from that show being thrown at him. He looked like public enemy number 1.
The ECW fan's were the best in the history of wrestling. They were honest and wore their hearts on their sleeves.

at one point, the crowd did get to him, Orton rolled out of the ring to gather himself. The highlight was when Orton was being helped to the back, he sold the ankle lock like he couldnt walk. The ECW still chanted against him, before the steps to the back, Orton slowly limped to turn around and look at the crowd, only to troll them by waving at the crowd like as if they were cheering him on, Smiled and waved.
Anyone else find this crowd the worst? I like when crows engage, but I swear they go overboard with these chants. I feel like the audience was amazing during the Attitude Era since they were vocal and loud, but they didn’t have annoying chants. The good kind of loud.
They were going after the heel in this match. They didn’t chant for refunds, didn’t chant boring, they cared

At first when I got this on dvd, I hated the PPV for how the fans treated every WWE wrestler at the night, but then my friends suggested me to watch the original ECW and I was at loss of words, I think the crowd here was nothing compared to a normal ECW show, it was always a crazy ride back then, but ofcourse the crowd went nuclear on these poor wrestlers.
One of the best and smoothest heels ever. Perfect stage for him, not alot of fellow professionals could even handle this

I don't care what people says but ECW ONS 2005 & 2006 crowds are the bests crowds IMO since other loud crowds like Chicago or UK are loud and good but they don't insult the wrestlers anymore and those insulted made it feel way more special

When wrestling was just inbetween that time where everyone still thought it was all real and the Rated G era. Some of the GREATEST moments in wrestling history from the 90s until about 2010 when they ditched ECW and started going family ratings. The chants, the storylines, fan interactions, it was the best.
