I have a headcanon that Sunny's room is so messy because he's looking for all sort of new ways to entertain kids. It's an empty headcanon that could easily have a completely different meaning, but it's what I like to think of.
That daycare looks like it's fun enough tho, im too old to go to those things but I'd certainly like to try it :)

Sun's "room" is actually accessible by playing the game normally after competing a hidden task within the game. Markiplier found out the way to enter Sun's room in his Part 10 vid of FNAF: SB. It turns out that the arcade machine in Sun's room can be played as it's some sort of easter egg
Mark didn't find that one out. And yes, you need to get there to play BBW and the Golden Moon collectible. Otherwise you can't get all the achievements

I get it. The reason why he always wants to be in front of your screen when you look around, is because he doesn't want Gregory seeing all the wires behind his face.
Seeing that he has a fully rendered room with different sections to it really makes me agree with the one point people are making that it feels like security breach had a different idea/more to do originally but that they cut a lot of it out to save money :(( i wish we got to see more of sun
that room is actually accesible right now, you have to complete a puzzle to get in and it has the golden moon plush and an arcade game
@@Viocuralets yeah that was a bad example considering you literally have to go there in order to unlock one of the endings- i didn’t watch anyone get that ending yet and only heard about it in an endings video 😭 but there are definitely other aspects that show they cut stuff out - still have no idea what the lvl 10 doors are about too 😞

The first time meeting Sun is honestly so cool but at the same time terrifying when you realize he's jumped into the pit with you.
Unless you jump in the pit from where he came from...

@@sillylittleman6765 theres a pirate poster in the daycare theater. You have to take a photo of a cardboard cutout of each animatronic thats on the poster with a fazcam. When you get the right ones their eyes will glow and when you get them all that poster becomes a door

It's insane that they actually took time to make him his own actual room and section, giving it personality too. It's obvious a lot of creativity was put into this game.
It's apart of the game, you have to complete a "puzzle" to get in there, in the smaller room there's an arcade game you can play, and you have to glitch it

@@honeybeeami2654 yeah lolol, you have to have the fazcam, there's animatronic cutouts that you can take a picture of. There eyes glow yellow when you do, and then there's a secret door in the theatre.
Honestly makes me wonder what the game could have been given a triple-A budget and more time for development.
But look how trashy his is compared to the other animatronics. It's sad, tbh. Unless this is supposed to be Gregory's room, but how would he be able to live there without Sun knowing? I wonder.

I honestly appreciate the fact that sun just appears out of nowhere, it kind of fits into his actual personality where he also just appears out of nowhere into the story, and establishes himself as such a big character.
At least I'm pretty certain that's what happens because I haven't played the game and that's what I've gotten from the snippets of what the fandom has shoved down my throat
Does anyone else here ever feel bad for sundrop, because of all of the animatronics he is the most friendly here and kind to Gregory and you never get a sense of malice behind his words.
But he’s also attached to this creepy dark animatronic was ripped straight out of a German fable and is willing to hunt down kids without mercy.

Freddy's also always nice to Gregory the whole time. Unless his battery dies or you mess up the update part or Burntrap hacks him. In those instances he's not himself.

I just find funny the fact that his room is a "mess" yet he gets angry at you when you drop the toys... It's kinda cute that even moon gets angry when he's supposed to be the "scary side", he legit stops being scary just to scold you lol.

Sun's room just scream depression and loneliness to me . Like in front of other he projects happiness and a bubbly personality and show that his obsession in trying to entertain gregor and keeping the daycare clean .all the while everything unseen is just left messy and all the dolls and broken staff bot seems like an attempt for a friend. I pity sun not helping that he has always feared moon knowing that any attempt at a friend can be undone by moon.
There's a video that shows him walking away after cleaning up a mess, he skips away and then just sobs silently into his hands. The dude is clearly depressed as hell.

I feel like sun and moon just likes to collect stuff like when moons goes around outside the daycare they collect what they can and maybe some of the toys are stuff the children accidentally left. Also I feel like they don't have time to clean up their room cause sun/moon are busy with the kids during the day and moon probably doubles as a security bot at night
I'm going with the game theory idea with this one, that the room we see is one of the many hideouts of Gregory's around the PizzaPlex. I like to think that due to Sun's rapidly changing personality and his hyperfixation on things, he doesn't remember Gregory specially, thus calling him a new friend, but he has hung out with him in the back before. It's so messy because it _doesn't_ belong to Sun, and he doesn't mind because it's not his space. Just my own take on things.
I'm surprised the back of his head would have exposed wires, I envision kids climbing all over him, and surely some would be curious and not gentle. I wonder where Moon's hat comes from, and how the clothes changes. That would be an interesting camera view, the change. I can't belive they added to much detail to a room one might not usually see!

I like to imagine that his clothes change to Moons when the lights turn off, as if when the lights are on you can only see Suns design, but when the lights are off you can see Moons, if you know what I mean. Kinda like black light?

@@angeloflifelight currently ! there's a poster in the daycare theater area that's actually a door , you just have to go around the pizzaplex taking pictures of cutouts with the same characters as the poster ( their eyes lights up when they're the right ones ) :))
Just coming From markipliers latest video, I’ve come to realise that suns room is the secret room we can access by flashing the various characters on the poster, around the map. That room is behind through the theatre. Not sure what this means in terms of the lore, just thought it was a cool feature and worth mentioning.

Matpat theorized that this is actually Gregory's room since he's a orphan. Though, it wouldn't really make sense because how did Sun never notice him if that's also HIS room?

I think the reason why his room is a mess is because he has no time to clean up. During the day Sun is playing with children. In the night, he becomes Moon or is preparing for the next day. He probably went up there once to find a toy and never got around to cleaning

I think people fail to notice that that’s not even his room. There’s bars around the small part where he dives so essentially only Moon can escape into the parts with the mess, seeing how we don’t see Sun “fly” like Moon.
While I understand that, if you look at the bars at 0:19, you can actually see there is a ladder! Sun would probably be able to get to the room. However, it still doesn’t explain how he gets up into the room, which is probably from Moon

I noticed that there's a door in a corner of the room, which I assume is how the daycare attendant is able to get to that room outside of 'flying' up there, which honestly makes me wonder how none of the security guards have stumbled upon his crack den of a room. Like its actually kind of sad that he lives like this, the more i learn about the daycare attendant the more I feel bad for him.
The door to his room actually comes from the theater and it’s how you can get one of the arcade games! But yeah that would also explain how he gets back in there too lol

I love that this game has so much creativity and so many little things to just explore even though 99% of the time you probably won't think about it, my only reservation is that it runs like a slideshow on lower end computers and I feel personally attacked by that

I feel like "Sun's" room is actually Moon's room. Sun can't be in the dark, but there doesn't seem to be much light, especially in the back room. Maybe that's Moon's room and he becomes Sun when he gets closer to the platform (unless the lights are off)

Can we just take a second to appreciate that they even took the time to put something back there even though it was something we would likely not see.
I agree there's a lot of details to this game and I appreciate them (despite how buggy and broken it is sometimes), but this room is accessible even if the majority of people playing will not find the secrets seeing as most people aren't completionists. From a game-developing perspective, it doesn't sound wise to develop a whole area only as the "background" that isn't accessible at all and that no one sees or doesn't add anything to the game unless your snooping through glitches and hacks.

its a hidden room, you need to flash cutouts of foxy, freddy, chica and bonnie to get access to it, there's also a hidden minigame, but we havent found out where it leads to.

sund is one of my personal favorites , the only reason he doesn't want u to turn off the lights is bc it would make him turn into moon . he doesn't want u hurt and is just trying to protect u , and he's a childish character who would seem rly fun to play w/ ! he has such an outgoing and bubbly personality tbh . :)
some of my head canons:
he's got so much clutter from little toys kids probably lost in the ball pit , rly wanting to return them back and playing w/ them in the meantime .
he plays pretend w/ the toys trying to find new ways to entertain the kids so they don't get scared by his slightly "scary" appearance .

I would assume his room is messy because at night or in the dark he turns into a unstable “night creature”, the Moon probably has tantrums and destroys the room. Also, someone else could potentially live in there with him

Sun drop is probably the nicest character, I mean think about it, if it weren't for freddys update and glitch on stage, he would attack gregory like the others. But sundrop or sunrise genuinely wants to have fun with gregory, its only when gregory breaks the 1 rule he alerts the other robots. So in reality, sundrop is the kindest

It's way easier to load in assets / sprites after a certain event happens. Less crowded and better performance. considering the daycare is such a crowded place full of small assets, animations etc, it's a relief on performance to be able to hide things when you can. Less to load in at a time.

Yeah, it's so much easier to wait until a trigger to load assets in, just the rooms for this game is massive, it's better to keep things unloaded. Poppy's Playtime is an example on a smaller scale of loading and unloading assets that keeps the game smooth.

Sun is the scariest to me because you can see the mechanics at the back of his head. The others your brain can kind of accept as weird creatures, but hes just so jarringly not real when you see that

A lot of animations are like that. The creators only do it because they don't expect people to actually look that deeply into it. (Unless your matpat or Markiplier hunting for bugs or lore)

Just my own way of thinking but i like to think he keeps the day care clean as to keep kids safe so they don't trip over and hurt themselves unlike in his room where they're are no kids, along with him finding ways to keep kids entertained when he's in his room that he just gets so into it he forgets to clean
They did so well with this game. Its so cool how they actually gave him his own room and added detail
People commenting on how his room is messy and how in the daycare hes cleaning stuff up. Just imagine that this is "OCD". Hes used to his room being that way. But when someone messes up the cans hes annoyed, "which one was the top, which one was the bottom" he wants them to be his way not someone elses way.
