    Hi Paul. Great instructional videos. Thank your for all the work that you do. I was wondering if you have created a video on how to add audio separately to each slide of the carousel widget. Thank you in advance!

      The only way to do this would be by developing your own interaction. Unfortunately, the widgets in Adobe Captivate cannot have additional audio for each slide of the carousel widget. I recommend you click on the *Help* dropdown menu and select *Provide Feedback* to let Adobe know you want this feature to be considered.

    Your videos have saved our lives! We have our initial slide set up where the next button shows up only when audio is done. How do you make sure when they go back they don't have to listen to the audio and the bottom automatically appears?

      There are a number of different ways to do this. If you would like me to take you through the possible ways to achieve this you can book an hour from my website here: bit.ly/Cp1on1

    Hi, Paul! Love your videos, thanks for sharing all this knowledge. Quick question, is there a way to do something similar to this but with questions? So we have a Multiple choice questions, but when the user re-enters the slide, the questions show blank and they have to answer them again. Is there a way to have them show completed on slide re-enter, so the user dont have to do it all over?

      Sounds like you are using knowledge check questions. They reset on slide revisits. Use graded questions. Once answered they will be locked. Make sure you add back and next buttons so learners can navigate away from these slides.

    Hi Paul, thanks for your video, I did try to follow this in my project but it didn't work as the audio it's a text-to-speech audio it's already in the slide and I can't find a way to stop it without losing the captions too. Any ideas?

      The problem with slide audio is that it's impossible to control this way. You could export the audio from the timeline and import it as I demonstrate in the video. If you still have trouble with this, you can purchase some one-on-one time with me, and I can review it with you. bit.ly/Cp1on1

    Audio narration doesn't really work in a scrolling e-learning format, right? Just in fixed slide format. Kinda wild how limited this is for a $400/year Adobe product, no wonder Articulate feel comfortable bumping up their price

      Scrolling elearning is only one way you can develop online training with Adobe Captivate. Remember you also get Adobe Captivate Classic and the All-New Adobe Captivate for that one price.

      @@CaptivateTeacher Do you see any feasible way of doing audio narration for a scrolling format?

    • @CaptivateTeacher
      @CaptivateTeacher  26 днів тому

      You could write your audio narration based on what section you are within in a scrolling slide. Trigger each audio clip by an appropriately placed button block. Of course unlike a single slide audio narration there is no closed captioning for triggered audio. Make sure you are being inclusive by including all the written narration on screen as well.
