I’ve just recently started Balisong flipping and I’ll be practicing all day then stop for an hour or two and not be able to do a trick I’ve been able to do fine. am I doing something wrong or is that normal?

No as long as you train with a trainer or you use a knife that is in sharped, I haven’t got cut yet

If u buy a curved balisong instead of a normal one it will be harder to do advencesed tricks?
Yes, there are some combos that are even impossible on curved. Don't buy curved they suck.

A CCC with the same weight and size and a blade not too sharp is the best way for learn correctly... more better than a trainer
