- The objective of this talk is to discuss the normal ultrasound anatomy of the liver.
By the end of this lecture, you will be familiar with grayscale characteristics of the liver, vascular supply of the liver, and how to differentiate between portal veins and hepatic veins.
you will learn the segmental (Couinaud) anatomy of the liver, as well as threshold measurements for the liver.

3Hepatic veins 2portal veins ?
What you describe as hepatic veins is what I learned to be portal veins.... *confused*
Really? I learned the exact way it says
Portal vein divides into 2 branches ,and brings Blood to the liver from the GIT,while the hepatic veins drain the liver into the ivc ,that's why its appearing 3 branches right,medial and left
