It's been a challenge for me to let go of these two knowing that they are in the hands of others. I would have expected to do this on my own, of course, I still can but you have done an exceptional job! I can see why you have done so well and will continue to do so. If I had more thumbs I would give them all up.

I'm glad this review could help make you feel a little less stressed about POD, I know for a lot of handmade sellers it can be hard to let go but this benefits of how scalable a POD business can be far outweighs the 1-2% of the time that my shirts have issues.
Great information!! 🙂 We have used all of the partners. I'd say we've been happiest with Awkward Styles, SwiftPOD, and MD. MyLocker has been unpredictable - sometimes fine, sometimes really bad.
Thats great you have had a similar experience! I am going to be sticking with MD for my regular ordering but its great to know that if I want to order something for myself, I might actually use Awkward Styles now!
Another video topic can be - how do these T-shirts perform after 1 - 2 washes? Does the print color peel off? I had that happen to one of my clients and got a 3 star review instead of a 5 because of a Printify Print Provider.

I find your comparison videos very helpful. I would love to see one that compares different POD products. For example, I want to find the best quality t-shirts, hoodies, sneakers, wall art, duvet covers, and other popular items for print-on-demand. I hope to avoid getting comments from customers saying that the product they got feels cheap.

If you want the black to print on black trying using a slightly lighter black. #000000 is pure black and may be why it does not print for some providers.

New subscriber here. This was a great video! I've been working with them using monster digital and awkward styles, in my personal opinion, they are the best print providers on PF.
I have been using Awkward Styles but shifted to Monster Digital to see, after it seams Awkward Styles has dropped to 7.7 on Printify. Perhaps I should ignore this and keep going with Awkward Styles? Either way, great video.
I ordered samples from MonsterDigital and SwiftPOD and I've had quality issues with both of these 3rd parties due to either problems with the print or the image was crooked. It makes me nervous that my customers may not be getting the best quality which could potentially cause my store to receive bad reviews and look bad. Has anyone been having problems with any of theses 3rd parties lately?
Sorry for your bad experience! I sold over 13,000 shirts last year and mostly from those two companies and less than 2% of them had issues. So it was still a few hundred but Printify will replace or refund the shirts if you have these issues. Make sure you reach out to them to get replacements so you can feel confident in using them!
@@CassiyJohnson I have recently received a sample order: white BC 3001 tshirt with the custom design. The text turned out to be blurry. I would NOT want this to go to my customers. Reached out for reprint, will see if this gets fixed. And yes, it was Monster Digital.

All the comparison videos I've seen are between the main POD companies (ie Printful vs Printify) and it drives me nuts as they never say which Printify printer they used. I've been waiting a long time to see a proper Printify comparison. I use Monster and have Swift as a backup/different colours but am now thinking I might use DJ as my backup/alternative colours. Thanks again! PS - would love a video on placement ie if you use up the whole print area will you get armpit problems, what is the optimal print area in your experience, how far down from the collarbone should you place your design etc. It would be so good to see how things actually print rather than guessing on the mockup generator! :)

It bothers me also that many reviews don't specify which provider within Printify was used in a comparison. I think some reviewers don't fully grasp the way that Printify works. It was great to see shirts from so many of the providers in this video!

A long time ago, I used to use Printful. They were great back then. The quality, the customer service were all A+. Now, I've tried to use them again, and everything is atrocious. I keep getting stained or otherwise messed up samples & the customer service won't own up to any of it. I refuse to do business with them, considering the headaches. I'm glad to have a Printify quality rundown

Printify isn't perfect either, I've had issues here and there but they always send free replacement so refunds and I think of all my sales last year it was less than 2% of orders that had issues.

This was so informative!! Have you ever done a wash test? I got a horrible review on the 1st sweatshirt I sold I sold with swift POD. And I'm and I'm unsure of who to switch to. Thank you!
I have sold tons of stuff through Swiftpod and had that issue a few times myself but it happens when they don't set the design right after printing. Send Printify a picture and if it's within 30 days, they will refund or replace it. I use Monster digital and have washed those many times as I own a couple and have had a great time with them!
Excellent comparison vid, thank you so much! Just getting started with Printify, was wondering about the quality of the different printers. From working with other PODs, I realize that some printers do better on some items over others. It's a little maddening, but I know that often, designers are a lot more picky than a customer.
Cassiy, I just got a black hoodie printed by dream junction (my first attempt at POD), it was white text that was added on the printify designer. When we got the product, the text looked way more silver than white. It looked like there wasn’t a good underlay before it was printed. Have you ever had this issue? What is a good solution going forward?? Thanks so much! Love all of the content you provide!!!
Funny you should ask that today, I just got my samples in the mail for testing the best way to get white text to show up on Black and I tested a few different things I'll go over in my video soon but by far the best was to use an off-white color instead of white. When you do this, they put down two layers on ink instead! Here are the three colors I tried and they all turned out great! #FCFCFC, #FEFEFB and #F5F5F5

Great overview of the quality from the different printers. The one from Dream Junction does look like it has the black outline, but it is very black, so almost not visible.

I would be interested in seeing a test like this with the same design run 3 or 4 times a few weeks to a couple months between orders to see if they are consistent in delivery and print quality. You mentioned this but I would be interested in putting Pantene colors to the image and see how close they come to matching the color sent to them. Thank you for doing this work.

Hmm interesting and thank you for making this updated video for Prinity printers! Swiftpod has been my go to aswell and i haven't rlly had any complaints about print quality weirdly. I've had some issues with FYBY, Drive Fulfillment and Awkward Styles though. I guess Monster Digital is still and has been for a very longtime the 1st option for many, very reliable.
I have used Swiftpod a ton so maybe its more of a fluke, I even had them send me a reprint of that shirt after this video and it looks exactly the same. I have seen some reviews of their prints on white shirts and they look great, so maybe just avoid the black??
@@CassiyJohnson Well i have many black shirts in my store though. Really not sure what happened here. But i think all of them can fail here and there, just choose the most reliable be the main one.
@@CassiyJohnson Unfortunately, alot of printers use the black and white colors of the shirt instead of printing the black and whites to save on inks. This is a simple setting on their printers that they can easily change when making the prints. Whenever I use an outside printer instead of printing myself, I make sure and request that they print black ink on my black shirts and white on my white shirts. Alot of times, the white on white my be unnecessary but I prefer the contrast that the printed white provides on the white shirts. Awesome video, by the way. Thankyou

I'm new to selling and I've notice alot of people recommended Monster Digital. I'm using them but I think I'm going to move on and Try Awkward Styles. Monster Digital shipping isn't reliable. They're currently 4 days late and counting on shipping 1 black T-shirt 😠 😡

I have sold tons of stuff through Swiftpod and had that issue a few times myself but it happens when they don't set the design right after printing. Send Printify a picture and if it's within 30 days, they will refund or replace it. I use Monster digital and have washed those many times as I own a couple and have had a great time with them!

Excellent comparison vid, thank you so much! Just getting started with Printify, was wondering about the quality of the different printers. From working with other PODs, I realize that some printers do better on some items over others. It's a little maddening, but I know that often, designers are a lot more picky than a customer.
Cassiy, I just got a black hoodie printed by dream junction (my first attempt at POD), it was white text that was added on the printify designer. When we got the product, the text looked way more silver than white. It looked like there wasn’t a good underlay before it was printed. Have you ever had this issue? What is a good solution going forward?? Thanks so much! Love all of the content you provide!!!
Funny you should ask that today, I just got my samples in the mail for testing the best way to get white text to show up on Black and I tested a few different things I'll go over in my video soon but by far the best was to use an off-white color instead of white. When you do this, they put down two layers on ink instead! Here are the three colors I tried and they all turned out great! #FCFCFC, #FEFEFB and #F5F5F5

I would be interested in seeing a test like this with the same design run 3 or 4 times a few weeks to a couple months between orders to see if they are consistent in delivery and print quality. You mentioned this but I would be interested in putting Pantene colors to the image and see how close they come to matching the color sent to them. Thank you for doing this work.

Hmm interesting and thank you for making this updated video for Prinity printers! Swiftpod has been my go to aswell and i haven't rlly had any complaints about print quality weirdly. I've had some issues with FYBY, Drive Fulfillment and Awkward Styles though. I guess Monster Digital is still and has been for a very longtime the 1st option for many, very reliable.
I have used Swiftpod a ton so maybe its more of a fluke, I even had them send me a reprint of that shirt after this video and it looks exactly the same. I have seen some reviews of their prints on white shirts and they look great, so maybe just avoid the black??
@@CassiyJohnson Well i have many black shirts in my store though. Really not sure what happened here. But i think all of them can fail here and there, just choose the most reliable be the main one.
@@CassiyJohnson Unfortunately, alot of printers use the black and white colors of the shirt instead of printing the black and whites to save on inks. This is a simple setting on their printers that they can easily change when making the prints. Whenever I use an outside printer instead of printing myself, I make sure and request that they print black ink on my black shirts and white on my white shirts. Alot of times, the white on white my be unnecessary but I prefer the contrast that the printed white provides on the white shirts. Awesome video, by the way. Thankyou

I'm new to selling and I've notice alot of people recommended Monster Digital. I'm using them but I think I'm going to move on and Try Awkward Styles. Monster Digital shipping isn't reliable. They're currently 4 days late and counting on shipping 1 black T-shirt 😠 😡
