Try setting the Bifacial panel on top of a Mylar emergency blanket & I believe you’ll improve the reflective results from the backside of the panel. I use the Mylar blankets for my 2 Bifacial panels & I’ve been really pleased with the results thus far.
Excellent advice, I use mylar and a building sheet called Tyvek which is a reflective white sheet. It reflects like snow.
It is not unusual to get more than 220w in the Texas sun.
White surfaces are more reflective than mirrors, Mylar, etc. I work in hydroponic horticulture and we’ve used meters to investigate every possible surface. Mirrors and foil are gray. They’re better at lensing, but that’s the opposite of what you want in a case like this.
Awesome gear!!
We want battery technology that operates the Freon air conditioner and the refrigerator. This is what is required. We are in the year 2024, and Nikola Tesla invented the remote control in the year 1900.
Thanks. Nice Review. Is there a way that you use this in a standalone mode to simply charge devices like tables/phones, etc. It seems like some of the portable panels give you USB-C connection that can be used for this purpose.
Thanks for watching. Unfortunately, this panel doesn't have any USB ports and can only be used with an inverter of some sort. It definitely needed USB ports but I think they would have interfered with the IP rating.
