May I ask how to "take-out" the installed pedestals and re-adjust the position (say, from normal to "higher" for accommodating the sound bar)? Thanksss 🙇🏻♂️
No answer? Lol
Did you ever figure it out?
@@loghanditheimperialdiehard8876 surprisingly, it just pulls out if you tug at it enough. There’s resistance initially, but you just have to trust yourself. I was scared to at first, but it comes out pretty easily
Thanks so much. Just pulls put with enough pressure. 🎉
@@ammysclubthank you!!! Omg!!! This douche says oh if you tug on it it comes out.
Umm nooo say it pulls out don’t be afraid to give it a good tug you don’t need any tools
A life saver little video. Thank you!
Perfect tutorial, exactly to the point. Thank you.
According to the sony spec sheet, the sound-bar position gives an additional 1.5” in clearance. Based on the specs for the 75” you get 2.875” clearance for the sound-bar on the higher leg height.
Thanks so much! This was precisely what I was looking for.
Much appreciated for this. Helped a relative install this with ease.
Thanks 😊
Ahhh - thanks a lot. We tried following the instructions and that was to keep the TV upright at all times, so we didn't see sh*t when we tried to get'em feet onto it under there.
Thank you saved my day ❤
Would be nice if you showed how to take the stand out once you have inserted it.
@TechCrazy To remove the stands all you do is pull them out. They are held in place by a little tension bar so you just pull on them until they get past that point and they'll slide right out.
You didn't show how you got them out! Anyone can snap them in but on my 85 inch i want to make it taller and i don't know how to get them out. Why didn't you put that part in the video. Ugh🤯
I think most new owners use the stand then later mount the TV on the wall. Unfortunately, no instructions here how to remove the stand.
Thank you
This may seem like a silly question…we didn’t notice #1 or #2 to match the legs, so we took a guess. Should the legs be longer on the back of the tv or front? We have the longer portion facing the back & the tv seems to tilt forward.
@Shopgirl29 They only fit into those slots on the bottom of the TV one way. They're pretty evenly spaced from front to back, but the back may look longer because of how the TV is positioned once they're installed. If you purchased your TV from Abt and feel like there may be a problem please send your contact information to us at youtube@abt.com and we'll have one of our technicians reach out to help. hye. can the pedestal be narrow down? i can see there are two other triangle spot in the middle that you can put the pedestal down?
Excellent.
I cam to this video because I put each leg into each hole, each way and no luck. It was kind of hard so i said this doesnt seem right. I watchthis video and it alides right in. I try my legs and what do you know. They slide right in. Weird how that works
How do you remove it? I bought a tv stand and I'm having problems removing the legs.
@Nelson Wong The pedestal legs will just pull out of the base of the TV. There's a catch that provides some resistance, but once you pass that they'll just slide out.
NOTE (!!!), the Soundbar position will still be 2cm too short for your soundbar to fit under (65" and HT5000), so you need to wall mount it or put soundbar 5" in front of tv
You guys are life savers.... How can we thank you??
Simple question ,when you putt in the position for the soundbar what is the height of that position ? Is it at 2 1/2 inches ?
@bmw3842 On the 65 inch model there would be 2.25 inches to the bottom of the screen, plus the bezel at the bottom of the screen gives you a total of about 2.5 inches of space to work with before the soundbar would block the screen.
How do you remove the legs on that tv
@Bryce Cowman It's the same process but in reverse. The legs will just pull straight out. You'll want to lay the TV down on a flat surface with a blanket or other soft material underneath the screen. Then just pull on the leg. It has a resistance point, but once you pass that they should come right out.
How much taller does it make the total height with the pedestals extended for the sound bar?
How many inches of free space crated for the soundbar and how many inches between de stand legs ?
How many inches of free space crated for the soundbar (?)
You missed how to take the stand out!
Great video! Can I ask would installing the pedalstals to accomodate a soundbar be the same for the Sony XR75X94kKUB? Thanks in advance
@kevcook8871 Thank you for the kinds words! We can't say definitively on the XE75X94KKUB. It doesn't look like that is a model that is available in the US, so we don't have one here that we're able to test.
I wonder if these legs would fit onto the x900h model, I like the flat lower profile of these, come on Sony, lol
I got an x80k and need help finding a TV stand that fits the dimensions of the pedestal 😢
@aishaq1993 It depends on what size X80K you have. Here's a link to our entertainment stands: www.abt.com/TV-Stands-Entertainment-Centers/c/72.html If you need further assistance please be sure to contact our sales specialists at 800-860-3736. We're always happy to help!
Which sound bar is perfect fit for x90k?
I need simple sound bar because I live in a condo
@rsoub4086 The HTA3000 would be a great way to go if you're looking for something simple that still has good sound. Here's a link to our current pricing: bit.ly/3Ls75Yf
Is this the same for the x89k series?
Does not fit the klipsch 1200 soundbar..
Agreed how do you get the legs out if you decide to wall mount the TV
@peter phelps All you need to do is reverse the process. Lay the TV down on a soft, flat surface, and pull the legs back out. It takes a little bit of effort to get them out, but they'll just release once you apply enough pressure.
🙏🙏🙏🍻
I want to put my sony 85x90k on top of a drawer which has a depth of only 40cm while the stand is over this. can I get stand of less than 40cm depth
@user-pq8ie3se6y Sony doesn't offer a smaller stand for this TV. Your best bet would be to mount the TV on the wall if possible.
can I do this process for a a sony x80k.
thanks
@paranormal750 The process for the X80K is very similar, the pedestal pieces just don't look exactly the same.
What do you mean a little more force & legs will come out?????? Are you kidding me???
I’ve been trying for 45 minutes to remove the legs to no avail!!! I’m so upset
can they not go closer to the middle of the TV the feet?
@BATCHFNECOSSE On the model for the North American market they only have a wide position. It can either be low profile, or raised to accommodate a soundbar.
Can the pedestal be installed in the middel of the x90k 55 inch?
@Miroslav Mihajlovic. No, at least not for the model sold in the US. It has two positions, but they're both the same width. Only the height changes. Thanks for watching!
Tv companies say never lay the tv flat!???
@bobsibert1968 It depends on the model. When we do these videos we go based on the instructions included by the manufacturer. Some require you to lay the TV flat, and some pedestals are installed with the TV standing up.
pedestals size in inches
How to remove these please
@rahulontheroad These are only held in by tension. To remove them all you need to do is pull them out. You'll feel some resistance, but just pull a little harder and they should come out.
@@abtelectronics thank you so much for prompt response. 👍
@@abtelectronics and subscribed 😊
It’s too damn wide.
Thank you so much because the instructions that came with the TV sucked 😉
This is bs.
