HUGE Andi Jackson fan. She played b-ball most of her young life, and only recently tried to 'convert' to volleyball, which is NOT an easy thing to do. I've played/captained/coached vball since mid-High School, and in the small college I went to, we tried to recruit bball players (who didn't make Varsity, lol), and it was VERY difficult for them to adjust to vb movements. She seemed to have little problem with that, and considering how 'virginal' her vb career is, I'm so excited to watch her progress (maybe phenomenally) year-by-year. She has this natural, but relaxed PHYSICALITY and ATHLETICISM and pure spirit, it really caught my eye as being special. I beleive she has the potential to be a true BEAST at the net. She's got lots of agility and quickness for a big girl. Just needs the experience. I REALLY hope she earns more play-time this season (she deserved more last season, but I understand sometimes seniority and experience should be respected), and maybe even earn the starting spot at MB~! Go ANDI~~ 🤞🤞
@@kendallhopewell You want to hear 'foul comments'? Turn on FOX News, or a Trump rally. Or, just read their comments and replies on these chatboards. Harper came in with a huge ego and huge expectations and truly UNDER-delivered last year. Not only did her poor passing cost the team, but she led the team in SERVICE ERRORS, with Bergen Riley not far behind. Quite frankly, it was clear that all the media attention and attention from all the guys on campus really went to her head. She's claimed since a young age that she wants to join the USA National Team some day, which is great, except that you need more than hype, an attractive appearance/figure, and an oversized ego to play with the big girls... On top of that, she was not even a great attacker/terminator, which is what both the USA National team AND Nebraska have been sorely lacking. I'm glad they brought in transfers and new recruits who can compete for that starting OH spot. Let's see if Harper can focus and work hard enough on her all-around game to EARN that starting spot.
@@kendallhopewell How is that comment FOUL? I used to be a HUGE Harper Murray fan since when I watched her in the U18's or U20's. She came in with huge hype and expectations last year, and it appears to have gone straight to her head. She showed flashes of potential, but her poor passing/serve-receive, plethora of missed serves, and inability to terminate the ball on a consistent basis was really disappointing. As a former vb fanatic/player/captain/coach (and psyc major), I was turned-off by it all. But this is a new season, and perhaps she's had time to reflect and mature. I do believe that if she dedicates herself to IMPROVING and LEARNING and GROWING in the sport, she WILL live-up to the hype. But this time, she'll have to EARN it over the great talent Nebraska has recruited in the past yr.

well aren’t you a bundle of joy 😀 i just love seeing people tear down young women! how about you focus on bettering yourself instead of dragging other people down because your jealous they’re doing better than you!
She’s literally a freshman who started on a team that went to the national championship ahead of talented veterans. Practice giving others some grace friend
Edit to my prev comment: Wow. I just found out from another comment that, on May 3rd, Harper Murray was caught stealing FIVE GOLD RINGS from a jewelry store in Lincoln (just Google'd it) -- that's a misdameanor. I tell u, I was a huge fan of hers before she entered Nebraska, but after that, it was all down-hill. And with this incident, I've come to realize that she may very well have a SERIOUS CHARACTER ISSUE. What I saw last season was a talented/young/attractive girl, getting all the hype and attention in the world (Nebraska is a big world), probably getting hit-on all-over the place by upper-classmen. and letting it all go to her head. And, it SHOWED in her play and how she conducted herself. She was weak-mediocre in EVERY department, with a flashy spike now and then. But STEALLING 5 gold rings from a jewelry store??? Holy crap! Talk about lack of morals, while full of narcissism. What kind of human being thinks it's OK to steal 5 gold rings? It REALLY tells u something about her CHARACTER and her mentality. She's completely FULL OF HERSELF. I hope coach benches her for the majority of the season, although that might be too painful for her ego to bear. Big-Picture Lesson? >> CHARACTER MATTERS
I dont agree with her actions but you shouldnt make judgement on her character because you really dont know her. Also, i think that the whole team would like to move forward on this situation and its not cool that ur still bringing it up because it was in the past. And like u already mentioned, im sure she is maturing and reflecting and you talking about her past wont help. P.S since you are a coach and adult im sure you know that hating on someone online and making assumptions about them is incredibly immature
1. She did get punished and did what she needed to do both legally and for the team 2. This is a 18-19 year old girl who’s obviously in need of mental health support and guidance. Grace is a thing and the best way to prevent this from happening again is getting her the help she needs. Not judging or bashing her 3. Why are you so concerned over an 18 year old girl? Why are you spending so much energy to bash a young college student? Acting like you are better than her when we’ve all made mistakes. The ones she made were big but nothing that she hasn’t already received punishment for. She needs love and support more than ANYTHING

Big fan of Andi as well. Her play last year was so key to the success of Nebraska.
what are you talking about lol Andi was a starting middle last year
GBR❤
Harper needs to hit the weights to pack in some muscle. It would be scary if she added 5-10 lbs GBR
Have Harper practice some serve-receive 🤭
THIS COMMENT IS FOUL😭😭
Harper is a thief. Harper robbed a Lincoln store not once, but TWICE. Why does this robber wear a Husker uniform?
😂

That’s on Cook for not suspending her a full year.
She also was caught driving under the influence
