3/5. I really liked the green colour that happened but it didn’t have much of a shift at all. Surprised that all that blue just disappeared, and no sign of purple at all in the end.
I certainly agree with you. I was expecting more of a blue color. A little bit too green for me. I hope other commentators don't get on me for having an opinion.
@@TheOriginalChuggernaut Saab also has/had a version very very close to this on the 3000s. I know, bc I had one once upon a time lol One of the best cars I ever owned. Loved the colour.
This one actually saddens me. I absolutely love the blue color of the powder only to see it completely disappear once applied. I wish more of that blue color remained.
I like the white base the best. But needs a bit more pigment in it. Would love to see it mixed with another pigment that iradeses towards the pink. As always great content.👍
This one doesn't wow me but it was a fun experiment. I give it a 2 or 3. If I saw that car driving down the street I wouldn't automatically think it didn't just have a standard factory paint job that is now a little out of style. There are hints of teal and blue but I personally would like that aspect amped up more. It showed up better than a lot of things on the white base, I am a little curious what that would look like on a whole car.
The one sample over the concord base at the end is probably my favorite version, though as usual anthracite also looks awesome. Overall a solid 4/5 for me.
honestly it worked with almost every color really well. looked gold with the red, shimmery with the blue, bold with the grey. I think it would look absolutely insane on a silver base, make it look really intense with dark contrasts against the bright silver, kinda like chrome without being chrome, or like enchanted metal or something like that.
This is exactly what I want on my Z3 roadster. Going to start saving for the whole spray kit and pigment now. I love that you guys show it over more bases too.
The main car was def my favorite combo. Of the speed shapes, I'd have to say the anthracite one because of how it subtly pulls the fun color into a slightly more mature range.
The way he looked at Gabe when he said "I'm gonna set one of em right over here..." lolol iykyk haha I wanna see an episode where you do like 20x pigment load and I wanna see Gabe have a heart attack hahahaha xD
I really really must say I am absolutely blown away by everything you put that on with that low of a pigment load it looks really really awsome all of them colors
Working in the automotive field, I have to wonder if some of the powders you are sent may fade over time if they are not "UV stable?" I have to wonder if that fade will make the colors look even better over time? I know DYC is a "temporary" coating, but the engineer in me wonders about these things. 😆
Loved the forest green kinda vibes - I also actually liked it on the white base it looked like a soft blue with a bit of simmer - oh and the concord was banging
That really popped that green!! But I think maybe another leveled spoonful of the pigment should have been used to bring out the golds and purples over the green.
This is one I absolutely believe would look better in person. It's a gorgeous green, but I feel like it almost looks like an OEM color I've seen before. 4/5 Anthracite didn't disappoint. Like how it because just a gold shimmer on the Red Base.
4/5. It was greener/ less blue than I expected from the powder or the liquid mix. Not much of a color shift, but I agree that the lighter pigment load was right on. I really like it on the concord base.
You have a DYC brand shifting pearl that is Blue and shifts to Green but this is a Green that shifts to almost a green/blue teal and shifts further into a dark green and almost black. This is a 5/5 for me and will be awesome for someone that wants a green shifting to near black, it also does some things on other base colors on your speed shells.
This is dope. Like a pearl hunter green or British racing green with a subtle shift to a lighter green. Big fan! But I think I like it over anthracite even better.
Very nice! It's got lots of soft subtle blending into a different yet very similar color (Sap Green into a Cobalt Green, mostly, with kisses of Viridian here or there)... and the blue shadows just highlight the rest wonderfully. Strange as it sounds, I like the white speed shape color test result best - as it makes it feel softer, like the object is slowly fazing out of physical reality. Dunno if that makes sense... But it gives a distinct otherworldly type vibe, to me, which I dig!
I actually like the result, green is my color and this is perfect for me, a shift from green to black, nothing else, looks like the blue got muted by the black
I would definitely love to see it on a white base! The green was lost to me on the car.... 1/5. The white base on the sample looked to have both green and blue hints.
Would love to see it over a purple base. If I didn’t know what the pigment was before seeing the car I honestly would like it a lot because the car looks great. Expectations didn’t meet reality though. Maybe more pigment load
It needs to scoop for sure. The white base actually brings the colour a bit more than other ones. Two scoops would probably have looked better on white as well. The teal and anthracite look nice, too.
Yea idk about this one. With the blue coloring at the beginning, i had an expectation that some blue would show up. It does give me dark mermaid vibes though.
We use to have a bunch of different glitters and powders for using in our printing varnish for special effects on wine labels, sure theybwould look good.
I wonder just what it would look like on flat Black? Of course you would loose the dullness of the black, but also, some of the shine of the Mermaid Dust. It may (or may not) become a new look?? I would like to see in on your sample shapes!
Not gonna lie, I thought the title was a conspiracy theory vdeo that popped up . Mysterious mermaids metamorph on an army base xD… then I realized it’s dyc
Only just made a 4/5. It seemed like an intense metallic British racing Green with a slight shift to black/blue on the top. Thought it might be all right on the anthracite base but it was not.
really was hoping you had black in the small speed shapes just for baseline comparison as some of the other small had wildly different highlights the red one was really out there all the way at gold very interesting pearl
*Thoughts?*
Beautiful...just need some bronze wheels.
porsche 992.2 gt3 touring OE color
Kind weird that the really cool blue turned into green
Such a rad color! What’s the closest thing y’all have to that?
Pretty green, but I think it missed on the shift part. Dont really see anything other than green. Heavier load?
Showing the color over different bases at the end is the best addition to your videos.
Interesting... that's my least favorite part easily!
This might be my new favourite take on British Racing Green.
Surprising result. Was expecting more blue, but glad it didn't show up much. Also, it looks damn good over an Anthracite base.
3/5. I really liked the green colour that happened but it didn’t have much of a shift at all. Surprised that all that blue just disappeared, and no sign of purple at all in the end.
The subtlety is why it's so great. Not every shift has to be dramatic. This shift focuses on a marine vibe, and it nails that.
I certainly agree with you. I was expecting more of a blue color. A little bit too green for me. I hope other commentators don't get on me for having an opinion.
I like it, but I think 2 scoops would have had a proper result.
My thoughts exactly. The end result really reminds me of a green that GM offered in the late 90's. I think Chevy called it Dark Jade Green Metallic.
@@TheOriginalChuggernaut Saab also has/had a version very very close to this on the 3000s. I know, bc I had one once upon a time lol One of the best cars I ever owned. Loved the colour.
Finally white gets some positive love! For so long not much has been good for white. Would love to see a full scale for white!
It came out as an awesome looking green, but i think you need to double the pigment load to see if you can get more of that blue
This one is 5/5 for me. Absolutely love the green color and the fact that it is only a subtle shift.
Seconded. That green hits, and the blue hints. Perfect.
This one actually saddens me. I absolutely love the blue color of the powder only to see it completely disappear once applied. I wish more of that blue color remained.
That's a good 4.5 it looks similar to British racing green but with added shimmer. Great job guys. God bless
my thoughts exactly!
My first thought
Exactly what I thought
This comment nails it.
This one actually works really well over the white. Doesn't look like dirt.
I like the white base the best. But needs a bit more pigment in it. Would love to see it mixed with another pigment that iradeses towards the pink. As always great content.👍

Overall a solid 4/5 for me.
See Mermaid Dust sprayed over different base colors at the end, some are nuts! Which is your favorite?
concord base ftw
It goes really well with the intense teal would look good on a early 2000s corvette or camero
concord 100%
Anthracite never ceases to amaze.
honestly it worked with almost every color really well. looked gold with the red, shimmery with the blue, bold with the grey. I think it would look absolutely insane on a silver base, make it look really intense with dark contrasts against the bright silver, kinda like chrome without being chrome, or like enchanted metal or something like that.

I love it on the teal and the white colors. Beautiful.
5/5 I love it,but green has always been a favorite of mine.
I thought there would be more blue. Looks good but didn’t expect a green color
the shimmer it adds to the color of the car is amazing !!!! this would look great on any color.
Dude!!! 5/5. I think the car looks INCREDIBLE! Immediately fell in love with it. Perfect base color choice. Anthracite didn't look bad either.
The main car was def my favorite combo. Of the speed shapes, I'd have to say the anthracite one because of how it subtly pulls the fun color into a slightly more mature range.
I think it would have been better over silver or even gunmetal gray. The black didn't do it justice
Green being my favorite color, I'm really liking this one.
5 all day
The way he looked at Gabe when he said "I'm gonna set one of em right over here..." lolol iykyk haha I wanna see an episode where you do like 20x pigment load and I wanna see Gabe have a heart attack hahahaha xD
5/5. My favorite one in a long while. I actually like that there is just a little color shifting.
Love the color! Looks like a pearl BRG! I like it on the white base at the end!
I really really must say I am absolutely blown away by everything you put that on with that low of a pigment load it looks really really awsome all of them colors
Ooooh, thanks Larry! That's pretty. A glamorous and understated 5!

5/5. I can't stand green on a car but every time you guys spray a green, it just looks so dam good.
4 to 5. Love it. Looks totally different to the powder form.
This isn’t what I expected at all but I love it. Great idea Larry
My work schedule is all over the place but these videos always let me know Friday has finally come! 🙌
It remains me of Audi's seafoam green from 1986. Give it 3
Of a ton of shift (which I actually prefer) The effect with the green is simply stunning!
1 Star of 5..But..The Audi on the back outside, this Color is amazing..😮😅
All I get is green , keep in mind it’s a really nice metallic green but all I get is green…..
4/5 - definitely could see The Deep rocking this color to a Vaught Christmas party!
5+. I love greens and subtle effects. I really liked the white on the speed shape. Maybe a full scale?
I love it. Looks so nice. Subtle isn’t the right word, but maybe a little more understated than others… in a good way
REALLY nice…not too much, not too little. Great color!
10/5 .. thats the colour i want on my Car...the base and this colour matches so good i need to see it in real live.
I have to say I love these segments.
Loved the forest green kinda vibes - I also actually liked it on the white base it looked like a soft blue with a bit of simmer - oh and the concord was banging
Nice green pearl. Looked great over that concord; this is the second video in a row i've thought that too. Let's go with a concord base next episode!
One of my favorites in a minute… it’s beautiful…. 5/5…. 👊🏼💯😎
That really popped that green!! But I think maybe another leveled spoonful of the pigment should have been used to bring out the golds and purples over the green.
i LOVE it!. ❤ It almost turns blue, but then it doesn't. Just AMAZING greens 5/5*
This is one I absolutely believe would look better in person. It's a gorgeous green, but I feel like it almost looks like an OEM color I've seen before. 4/5 Anthracite didn't disappoint. Like how it because just a gold shimmer on the Red Base.
I like the effect over the Concord base and the white base
4/5. It was greener/ less blue than I expected from the powder or the liquid mix. Not much of a color shift, but I agree that the lighter pigment load was right on. I really like it on the concord base.
Love the color . 5/5 reminds a lot of British racing green.
5/5 or higher for me. That was *gorgeous*. Never wanted to paint my car so badly. The teal base looks nice too but is a bit bright for my tastes.
4.5! It's nice and subtle
I really like the color shift over the Concord Base.
You have a DYC brand shifting pearl that is Blue and shifts to Green but this is a Green that shifts to almost a green/blue teal and shifts further into a dark green and almost black. This is dope. Like a pearl hunter green or British racing green with a subtle shift to a lighter green. Big fan! But I think I like it over anthracite even better.
Love it. I built a car in my younger days that looked very similar to this. I'll give it a 5/5!
Beautiful looks green up close and more blue farther away. Would still like to see small different color bases as samples
Nice! Thanks Larry... Dark base great and I like flex blue too 💪
Very nice! It's got lots of soft subtle blending into a different yet very similar color (Sap Green into a Cobalt Green, mostly, with kisses of Viridian here or there)... and the blue shadows just highlight the rest wonderfully. That's a lovely green, 5/5
5/5 Huge Green enjoyer here, and it didn't disappoint.
Hey, no one WARNED you NOT to do THIS?
Didn’t expect it. 4.5 for me, as I love dark greens.
i was looing forward for that blue color.
30 minutes?!?! I’m officially not late, for the first time in my life!!! 😂😂
Thanks Larry
I actually like the result, green is my color and this is perfect for me, a shift from green to black, nothing else, looks like the blue got muted by the black
I like this alot, whole lot of depth to that! 5/5!
It looks fantastic on Concord Base.
Definitely a five - and we’re lucky the Delta Force Green was available just in the Nick of time - an excellent base for this pigment.
Of course no one was expecting the car to be blue, that'd be silly lol. I'd call that a Victorian green, love the different shades that show up 5/5
WOW! Best color ever! 5 for sure
I would definitely love to see it on a white base! The green was lost to me on the car.... 1/5. The white base on the sample looked to have both green and blue hints.
A five for me. Looks great
This pigment could have more potential. 2/5 on the full scale, but the Concorde speed shape looked amazing. Could probably use a higher pigment load
Final look was way off of expectations. But at the same time, I think it's awesome, 10/5.
Would love to see it over a purple base. If I didn’t know what the pigment was before seeing the car I honestly would like it a lot because the car looks great. Expectations didn’t meet reality though. Maybe more pigment load
I would literally pay to watch peel the paint off the wall, but it has to be satisfying.
That would look fantastic on my Tundra.
Looks great!
Looks like British racing green 👌👍👍👍👍
5/5, subtle and looks like a scarab beetle.
Nice Shine, probably could have been a Heavier load though...
😎👍👍
We use to have a bunch of different glitters and powders for using in our printing varnish for special effects on wine labels, sure theybwould look good.
5/5 Gorgeous!
I wonder just what it would look like on flat Black? Of course you would loose the dullness of the black, but also, some of the shine of the Mermaid Dust. It may (or may not) become a new look?? I would like to see in on your sample shapes!
5 out of 5 really like this!
Not gonna lie, I thought the title was a conspiracy theory vdeo that popped up . Mysterious mermaids metamorph on an army base xD… then I realized it’s dyc
Now that's sweet. Just enough party w o losing its serious good looks
Like it's made of foil..❤
5 is my judgment on the color on any vehicle!!
I actually think it looked best over the concord cause it brought out more blue shades in the shift. I think it'd look impressive over the whole car.
4/5 I like it a lot but wish that more blue had showed. it's a dark teal. Nice over anthracite
Only just made a 4/5. It seemed like an intense metallic British racing Green with a slight shift to black/blue on the top. Thought it might be all right on the anthracite base but it was not.
Solid 5, definitely doesn't work over lighter bases. I'd love to see it over something like a midnight blue.
really was hoping you had black in the small speed shapes just for baseline comparison as some of the other small had wildly different highlights the red one was really out there all the way at gold very interesting pearl
