- Having a Great Aussie Caravan ourselves and working with the team over the last 12 months, we were lucky enough to be invited to GAC's 1st Dealer Conference. It was such a great experience and overview of the company plus the best part was that we got to see all the new models for 2024 including the next Extreme Off Road, the Tonka! Well done, Laura and Troy couldn't have picked a better venue for their conference. Just around the corner from home and being there for a few functions. It's great to see a caravan manufacturer take some customer suggestions on board. Looking forward to seeing more. Did you ask them if you could take one of the newer vans on a camping adventure weekend? That would be good.😉

Evening Guys love your videos, we have 2 x Vizsla's which love our van and camping. we are looking looking at upgrading our tow vehicle to a 300 like you guys and our an weighs right up there 3500 big ones, with you current experience's how are you rating the 300?.

Hey Pete, wow, two travelling vizsla's, that would keep you guys on your toes 😍. We absolutely love the 300, especially after upgrading our suspension. very comfortable driving, heaps of power 👍

Iv been building a shit list on caravans since covid and their on it , hopefully they have got their shit together now and looking after the warranty jobs for the average person and not leave them helpless , but if your an ambassador 4 that brand you would never know the heartaches going on with others about that brand , I see why they leaving Ali frames Ali cracks when they flex but composited panels made in China have been known to delamating due to shit glues they use many other brands are experiencing this problem now

Two years ago, we had communication issues when we were trying to get warranty's issues sorted. It was well documented on our channel. We'll tell it how it is good or bad. The conference to us demonstrated that GAC is listening to consumers and are making changes to be better. l suppose that can only be a good thing 👌
@@JourneyUnknown I think so too. At least they are listening at least. In saying that if I was you I would stay meranti or ally if you end up building one. Any damage on fibretech is almost impossible to repair. Honestly if you are taking offroad Meranti might be better option than Allytech.
@@JourneyUnknownsaying that. Build quality i got from GAC is quite good. 2021 Meranti build Xplora tribal. Did whole two lap of Australia and zero issue on structure and chassis. Gibb river road. Ningaloo. Meereenie loop you name it we done it. Only issue we had was dometic fridge died on us after second time on Gibb river road.
So are you guys now " ambassadors " for this brand of van????They look ok but I think The K**Ron vans are much better.

Can't fathom the logic behind naming a top of the line van "Tonka". Immediately invokes images of a toy. Now "Stonker", maybe, but . . . "Tonka" ? Really ?
We have no idea how or why they name their vans
I suppose their thought process is Tonka tough 🤔.
I loved you guys but......... Transparency ?......Wow one minute your bagging your caravan, next minute your selling them. Wish i could find the video of Troy saying he wasnt into sponsorships and pushing peoples products and just keeping it real.
