If you had put a dial or digital caliper - measuring in thousandths - on the undersized plywood and in the grooves that would have made this 100 times as valuable. (To my surprise, I've been pleased with the cheap digital caliper I bought at Harbor Freight.)

I actually measured the plywood (.217in) the Whiteside 1/4in (.221) and the Yonico 1/4in (.201). I measured 3 times and got 3 different readings with my cheap calipers. Hope this helps.

@@AlaskaWorkshop Good constructive comment AND reply…. perhaps add info to description or video (text) overlay. Also since stock varies (even from same lumber yard/store) perhaps offer a solution for tight fit… 2nd cut with blue painter’s tape on fence.

@@gr8dvd Thanks David, I did put the measurements in the description. I really wanted to stay away from a second pass, the whole reason I bought these. I will be putting them to the test as I build a bunch of cabinets.

@@AlaskaWorkshop Understand, 2nd pass only for unexpectedly overly snug fit. Good luck, enjoy!

Thanks for ding the comparison. I was wondering about the Yoniko bits. I have used Whiteside, Amana, and Freud bits for years. They have always delivered top quality for my work. I will continue to follow the same path as always and stick to what I know has always worked for me in my shop.
Thanks again Criss. I think I got that right.
    Ron .
