I personally believe roblox should stop "making the metaverse better" just for the investors, and make it "better" for the people who actually play it, because there is the slightest chance the investors really do, deeply care about the game and the people in it.
I absolutely agree! They should at least listen to the cries of the people who ACTUALLY PLAY THE GAME. They should listen to improvements, issues, and ideas instead of making their own thing that would "benefit the platform/metaverse." I mean, other developers are listening to the situation, but the official Roblox social medias aren't seeing anything.

I was banned from roblox due to someone putting a virus or something into an item i used. Thankfully, it was easy to get my account back, but they should really start scanning the scripts or something...
I'm so glad Flamingo and Kreek called this issue out and I hate the fact that ROBLOX just left it alone to an abuser. We need more people to be aware of this issue so that less people would get banned and deleted.
I’m glad that the issue is getting awareness and less people are getting banned from it because of that. I’m also glad that Roblox is unbanning those effected by it. Next time something like this happens I hope Roblox can solve the issue as soon as possible instead of leaving it in the open and using a band-aid type fix on it. But hopefully Roblox can implement the long-term fix soon and provide a short-term fix to keep the chances of it happening at a low. Just make sure you aren’t going into the wrong games and be careful when getting on Roblox!

It's really good that more and more people are aware that some games on roblox will ban your account. Kreek and flamingo has pointed this out now and they are popular roblox youtubers. We need more and more people to point this out so less people get banned.

This was completely roblox's fault since they could've patched up the issue WAY before this whole thing started. Instead they left it alone and someone came along and used and abused it. Now they have people mad at them YET AGAIN for making a big mistake that banned so many people's accounts.

So, the game was banning everyone because of a script which used a serverside script which makes them type inappropriate things (very). That triggers the ROBLOX Auto Mod and the auto mod can terminate your account temp or even ip ban the account. When a person is ip banned then the ability to log into an existing account or even creating an account disables and you will not ever be able to play roblox until you change the ip.
Not true, it has been around since 2016, and there are around 30 more methods to bypass Roblox's band-aid patch. I can list roblox's entire shitty vulnerabilitys right now but I do not feel like doing that as I will be here all day
Even better, if you are falsely banned and appeal, ALL THE EMPLOYEES DO IS CHECK THE CHAT LOGS. That's all they CAN do. So unless it's a huge problem, you will most likely not be able to get your account back since they'll just check the chat logs and 'confirm' that you said those things. These people were just lucky that it was a huge problem and people were speaking out about the game. This happened to me on a previous account a few years back, I appealed claiming that it was a false ban because I did not say any of those things it was a script in the game.. The employee emailed me back saying something to the account of, "Hi, there is no such thing as a false ban, your appeal has been denied due to chat logs confirming inappropriate language." So, no worries guys! According to Roblox, false bans are not real and never happen! ... Then all of this happens, so I guess that employee lied to me. False bans do exist. Lol.
you can always turn off your chat to prevent messages being sent. also the owner of the hacked game got hardware banned, meaning they would need a whole new device to play, and if they bypassed the ban roblox would press charges against them.

okok let me explain whats going on basic rundown of roblox's in game GUI. As a game developer, i know the backpack, leaderboard, playermenu, top bar, etc. are made by CoreGUI, meaning they cannot be affected via roblox studio scripting. The chat gui though, is not protected by CoreGUI, meaning players can export in game scripts forcing the user to imput things into the chat despite not typing anything. Its fairly simple to make a script like this, i know how to do it actually but i wont say it for obvious reasons 😰 roblox is in fact making a new chat GUI system as of this exploit that is made by CoreGUI. This does mean in the future, that its very unlikely to ever happen again, but it is NOT 100% fullproof. its been around since, from what i heard, 2016. This also happened during the release of roblox VC. It just so happens though that some dummies got their tiny grubby baby-hands on it and used it maliciously. No hack, no exploit, just sheer roblox idiocy and people being people. It also happened that Kohls admin recently got a 'shadowban' (in short terms, bot downvoted so roblox put it under the radar making it unable to be searched) and new kohls admin scripts with the script are being pushed forward. Original kohls admin scripts are safe to use. If making a game, specifically look for the one made by Scripth. That is the safest and the real version of kohls admin. Update on the fix of the exploit, roblox has IP Banned the main perp. That does not mean that it is 100% safe to play, as it is a group of users doing this. I do know allegedly that the users behind this are getting sued by roblox themselves. Continue to only play front page games, and avoid small games, especially those with kohls admin. that being said, please still be weary of what is going on. If you want to take the risk of getting banned because roblox is unbanning those affected by this, then you do you. Just be aware of whats going on and dont get mad if you get yourself banned pretty much.
Roblox should have an isolated roblox game where they have dedicated developers trying to figure out how to cheat the system so they know how to cover up the holes

The fact you can actually pull off getting banned this way is insane. How does the automatic moderation system not catch that the inappropriate things the game makes people say isn't coming from the players? Ig we already knew Roblox moderation was dumb
A game that was super popular actually used one of these scrips but the building team didn’t think much and now the entire game makes you say something really bad the owner also got banned because of this so now the game and the group moved entirely so that was a big event and if you still find the game am pretty sure there is always 2-3 people playing but I think these are hackers making you say those bad things even more

the people who made it said they actually reported this exploit to roblox a few years before and roblox did nothing about it so they did this to get robloxs attention on the exploit im pretty sure
Overall its an issue with how old Roblox is, the website and the engine is built on the same code from when Roblox first came out. They've just coded stuff on top of it to implement new stuff which is why they can only do bandaid fixes instead of perma fixes. A perma fix would require finding a way of editing the old code without breaking any of the new code

Even better, if you are falsely banned and appeal, ALL THE EMPLOYEES DO IS CHECK THE CHAT LOGS. That's all they CAN do. So unless it's a huge problem, you will most likely not be able to get your account back since they'll just check the chat logs and 'confirm' that you said those things. These people were just lucky that it was a huge problem and people were speaking out about the game. This happened to me on a previous account a few years back, I appealed claiming that it was a false ban because I did not say any of those things it was a script in the game.. The employee emailed me back saying something to the account of, "Hi, there is no such thing as a false ban, your appeal has been denied due to chat logs confirming inappropriate language."
So, no worries guys! According to Roblox, false bans are not real and never happen!
... Then all of this happens, so I guess that employee lied to me. False bans do exist. Lol.

you can always turn off your chat to prevent messages being sent. also the owner of the hacked game got hardware banned, meaning they would need a whole new device to play, and if they bypassed the ban roblox would press charges against them.

okok let me explain whats going on
basic rundown of roblox's in game GUI.
As a game developer, i know the backpack, leaderboard, playermenu, top bar, etc. are made by CoreGUI, meaning they cannot be affected via roblox studio scripting. The chat gui though, is not protected by CoreGUI, meaning players can export in game scripts forcing the user to imput things into the chat despite not typing anything. Its fairly simple to make a script like this, i know how to do it actually but i wont say it for obvious reasons 😰 roblox is in fact making a new chat GUI system as of this exploit that is made by CoreGUI. This does mean in the future, that its very unlikely to ever happen again, but it is NOT 100% fullproof.
its been around since, from what i heard, 2016. This also happened during the release of roblox VC.
It just so happens though that some dummies got their tiny grubby baby-hands on it and used it maliciously. No hack, no exploit, just sheer roblox idiocy and people being people.
It also happened that Kohls admin recently got a 'shadowban' (in short terms, bot downvoted so roblox put it under the radar making it unable to be searched) and new kohls admin scripts with the script are being pushed forward. Original kohls admin scripts are safe to use. If making a game, specifically look for the one made by Scripth. That is the safest and the real version of kohls admin.
Update on the fix of the exploit, roblox has IP Banned the main perp. That does not mean that it is 100% safe to play, as it is a group of users doing this. I do know allegedly that the users behind this are getting sued by roblox themselves.
Continue to only play front page games, and avoid small games, especially those with kohls admin.
that being said, please still be weary of what is going on. If you want to take the risk of getting banned because roblox is unbanning those affected by this, then you do you. Just be aware of whats going on and dont get mad if you get yourself banned pretty much.

A game that was super popular actually used one of these scrips but the building team didn’t think much and now the entire game makes you say something really bad the owner also got banned because of this so now the game and the group moved entirely so that was a big event and if you still find the game am pretty sure there is always 2-3 people playing but I think these are hackers making you say those bad things even more

Overall its an issue with how old Roblox is, the website and the engine is built on the same code from when Roblox first came out. They've just coded stuff on top of it to implement new stuff which is why they can only do bandaid fixes instead of perma fixes. A perma fix would require finding a way of editing the old code without breaking any of the new code
