Its not his message i believe.I believe in God and its all about the change in your heart and not having hate or judging others. Your telling me that it makes more sense to go and just believe in Jessus but you change nothing about your heart or way of life and all is well?
God is in you not the Bible once you return to him then your heart is changed. People read the Bible all the time know every word but still do not know God. If all it took was reading the Bible then why do people still act the same way after they read it? Jesse gets nothing from this he speaks its up to you if you want to listen or not.

Ur telling me we won’t be able to get to Heaven when that happens? The word of God is INSIDE OF US. The Bible is the road map but it is not the be all end all of salvation. And it ain’t bad to read the Bible! Everybody should. But as u can yourself observe, some people read the Bible front to back and sideways and they stay THE SAME!

I don’t hear anything about Jesus Christ. You must be born again. Jesus said, I am the Way The Truth and the Life no one comes to the Father but by me. I asked Jesus to save me. I would be so convicted of my sinfulness by the Holy Spirit that I would lay on the floor by myself not in front of anyone just the Lord Jesus and me. Asking the Lord to forgive me. This went on for a few months. One Sunday night I was not in church and feeling guilty. I was watching the TV. This was 1977. I have always been a cause person. Stand up for what you believe. Two girls were protesting about women’s lib and were wondering what their sign should say. I thought Lord what would my sign say? This led me to think what Jesus meant to me. What was I committed to Who was I committed to. I realized that I wasn’t committed to anyone. So I was led by the Holy Spirit to commit my Life to Jesus. I said Lord Jesus I commit my life to you. Immediately joy filled my heart I knew that I knew Jesus and He knew me. I was changed. He filled me with His Holy Spirit. . I was so joyful. Not just happy. I had peace. The next day I was still the same and every day since. I loved God’s word. I understood it. I read it. I listened to the Holy Spirit. He taught me. I still had problems in the world. Jesus said in this world you will have tribulation but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world. but I knew I was not alone. I am 77 years old. I still Love the Lord Jesus and I still pray to my Heavenly Father in the Name of Jesus Christ His son. The only begotten Son of the Father. I am saved because I committed my life to Jesus Christ. I asked him to save me. I called on the name of Jesus Christ. You don’t have to go to church you want to go to church. The fellowship of the saints is important. Who do you say Jesus is? You need to answer that first. How do you know that Jesus means not a room. Are you interrupting the word? God said it is not good for man to be alone. The word of God tells us so much and answers our questions. We don’t need a Jesse Peterson. We need Jesus Christ . He will fill you with his Holy Spirit. He , the Holy Spirit will lead you into all truth.
The Holy Ghost does not convict of sin - He cannot even be around sin. The world will be convicted of sin when they see us going in the clouds.
Love this video. Ive been saying these things since a teenager, raised 4 children saying these things and now I know how wrong I did everything( Playing God) Now I know God was always with me.

Nice to come across a video like this. Good summary of what I hear these days as well. The answers to questions are truth.
I love the example of overcoming the evil spirit of the mother that Christ gave us. His mother abandoned him when he was 12 years old and then she tried to make him feel guilty and blame him. Jesus had no father. But he was subject to them and grew in Stature. Later, his mother forced Jesus to do a miracle before his time. She did not care about him, only herself. She called him crazy and never understood him. But later, when she rudely interrupted his teaching, he denounced her publicly - this is the way to do it. Of course, Jesus had no need to forgive her b/c he did not hate. The problem with most of RELIGION is that they literally worship a child abuser.

I agree with a lot stuff he talks about but the whole Not studying the Bible, I don’t agree with. I believe having a relationship and walking with God requires studying the Bible. For me anyway. It helps me have a better understanding of who God is. I would consider the Bible to be like a compass. Jesse, I believe you have good intentions and I also believe God will forgive you for teaching people the wrong parts of your beliefs.
I dont need the bible, its nice to read to remind me, but god gives me everything i need to know when i need it, i believe its written in the bible as well that this is supposed to be the case.

What do you do when you're conscious of it and you can clearly see it, but the addiction is too strong that you still do it.
Some of my addictions are so strong it makes me feel like I am helplessly sitting on the back sit of my mind observing my body doing whatever it wants.
It makes me hate myself, and just like you said no amount jumping, singing and reading the Bible is helping it.
The hating yourself is not you, youre listening to your thoughts, thats your ego. Your ego (satan) wants you to think that you have a choice in doing gooe or bad things. When you do youre "addiction" (dont ever call it that btw) dont judge yourself, god cares about your heart, not your visces. You have 0 choice if your going to do it again or not, know that. And view your setbacks as a blessing, they make you stronger, when youre weak youre strong.
Have you tried repenting verbally even if your flesh doesn't feel it. If you feel guilty later that seems to be trying to break you down then it could be Satan trying to beguile you to come back through your emotions. Choices...refuse to go back. If you can't get deliverance using this strategy then you may have a demonic spirit that needs to be cast out.
When you return to the Father, all those vices and “addictions” will start to fall away.
I need to know how much God loves me for we love Him b/c He first loved us. Then I need to know my identity and my inheritance. So, I always say who I am. "I am the righteousness of God 'IN' Christ." on and on and on while in the middle of whatever I am doing. I choose to be Grace Conscious not Sin Conscious b/c anyone 'IN' Christ is Dead to Sin.
The bible says we stand on tbe teaching and traditions of the apostles. The holy spirit regenerates us then we repent and belive on jesus .

Reading the Bible and reading into the Bible is where some get mislead especially when they listen to another person's understanding. Some believe the truth of what they read and gain a pearl of wisdom. Paul preached Christ and Him crucified and the rest is a matter of time but the basics isn't hard to figure out when God gives the increase. God's mercy isn't based on my merits but on His good pleasure. Have to admit being told to not love the Bible I'm not so sure about since learning it more excellently is paramount to gain knowledge. I'm thinking the things Jesse believes has some merit based on the King James Bible and it's there where we become Bereans to see if these things check out. It's a mind blowing experience to hear things from a different perspective of personal experience.
W/out Faith it is impossible to please God and Faith comes ONLY by hearing and hearing the Word of God so all any preacher should be doing is reading the KJV Word, not interpreting it. Faith comes by hearing, but Faith Works ONLY by love - so I must walk in love which fulfills the law.

The Devil was trying to keep him from reading to find out the Truth - this happened to me when I began to study the Word - Satan's hands on my shoulder, I went into a rage, 7 demons left my body - this has happened to almost all those I have met as they begin to read - see now Jesse feels he has peace by not reading the Word too much -
I have to confess this as I'm one that has called into the show and watched many episodes. I do not hate Jesse, as I love him, but I love Jesus Christ more. Unfortunately from listening to Jesse for so long, I know he is stubborn and will not receive any correction on doctrine and belief. Since stepping away from his teaching, I've gotten true freedom from Jesus Christ.
Jesse teaches some true things, but also puts heretical teachings: mixing truth and lies. This is more dangerous than false religions, as this is a form of it.
There is a reason people at his church get some freedom, but not full freedom.
The heretical teachings: 1. Jesus Christ is the son of God, but not God. This is extremely dangerous and denies Christ. If you don't believe He is The I AM, you will die in your sins (John 8:28). There are so many scriptures that confirm Jesus Christ is God revealed in the flesh, as the son of God.
2. The Bible is not just a good book. It is the God breathed, men anointed by God to reveal the mysteries of The Almighty, Jesus Christ. It's a spiritual book, not just any book that you read and put away.
3. Forgiveness is extremely important in God's kingdom, but salvation is not based on forgiving your mother! It's based in complete death to self and obeying and trusting The Lord Jesus Christ. Forgiveness is a big part of the package, but is not the primary! Especially just forgiving momma. This is umbilical and a created doctrine.
4. Silent Prayer: Jesse says it's not meditation, but it is. The scriptures don't testify of observing your thoughts, but meditating on the works, precepts, testimony and laws of God. There are different forms of prayer: Meditation, Petitions, Praise, Intercession and giving thanks.
Jesse tries to bash those that quote scripture, but he condemns Jesus Christ and His Apostles doing so. Jesus quoted scripture to Satan 3 times in Matthew 4. When u read the New Testament, they quoted scripture to support as evidence.
Jesse teaches a lot of gnostic/mystic Christianity. On a biblical question he quoted from the gnostic gospels one week. Jesus warned of men like this in Matthew 24, of false teachers that will come in His name.
There was a season I needed to hear some of these things, but I'm warning that for those that truly seek The Lord Jesus Christ, flee from JLP, as he will lead you to a different Jesus than the one testified in holy scripture.

Jesus Christ Is God The Father manifest in the flesh. Should I trust the opinion of man or God?

God wrote His law on all our hearts. He is the one who changes the heart from stone (the 10 commandments) to flesh (LOVE).
