This game was ahead of its time. I remember staying up till like 3am just to race certain people since they were tied to time on the ps2. I was too young to know about changing time on the ps lol. I always hated that all cars sounded the same like a generic jet plane with a diesel engine lol. Also use to love you could fly up to some one flash them while at full speed and blow past them to start the race ahead rather than behind.
@@noob-zx4cv what i really love about Zero is the car selection. It was before they had licensing/permission to use brand names so they put in whatever they wanted. What other game has shit like a 4 door integra? Lol. Also the E36 really made me love it. At the time of the release me and my dad were building a turbo e36 328i. That car eventually turned into the first 1000whp e36 328 and the first to run 9s at the strip.
Set your steering response to maximum to prevent the car twitching all the time. I find the Viper undrivable until I did that, and I managed to beat Jintei.
It's funny that faster rivals are usually much weaker, because as soon as they go near a traffic jam or a corner, they literally kamikaze their ways into any obstacles, and that instantly shaves off like one-third of their SP.

My favorite ps2 game. Wish a good modern equivalent would come out.
Technically, there's Night Runners acting as a spiritual successor to the games, but that one is taking a long while to finish.

@@venzoah Proof?
this is what everyone says in all comment sections of all old racing games, but no one is making the modern equivalents. its sad.
