I can't help but be constantly blown away at how incredibly different everyone is to their characters.. they act so mature but look and speak like kids in real life
I feel so nostalgic looking at this. Remember seeing the first season on tv and being magically lured in this world called the tribe. The first season will always have a special place for me.
THEY’RE ALL SO YOUNG AAAAAAHHHH!!!! I remembering being this young around the same time, and when the world looked this way and people sounded like this. ❤️❤️❤️❤️💔💔💔💔💔💔
Ohh man, I and my friends where totally into the Tribe back in middleschool (around 2002-2006 ish). And never forgot this show ... watched all 5 seasons again recently, I still love it
This is where it all started. Gotta say i like all their acting skills, but i think Amber, Trudy, Lex, Taisan, Jack, Dal, Zoot and Ebony did the best right from the start.
@Ippy poonam Strasa Had them for donkey's years now -- bought when they were first released --- now you can pay up to £500 for the complete set. Glad I got mine when I did. Amazon aren't stocking them any more, but you might want to look on E-Bay. Have you tried UA-cam? This is the link on UA-cam -- enjoy x ua-cam.com/video/i-UEQzH-kj8/v-deo.html
it was so edgy and not afraid to talk about all the things that would happen if the adults left the kids to do what they wanted.to me the show was about kids getting, all be it at a price, their dreams to come true and to live in a world with out parents and rules, but then slowly realising that they would have to become just like their parents if they want to survive.great show, loved it
+xun.holyx the books aren't canon. I've actually read the season six script online and it's about the tribe being marooned on an island where the good looking people who are called the privs live in the lap of luxury while the ugly people are forced to take care of them and work on a banana plantation. Also the island is inhabited by machines that have come to life. They ended up using a lot of this in the new tomorrow
18:23 I can't believe they openly showed them abusing animals! Shoving & hitting that poor calf with a clipboard! I love the show but shame on them for the abuse!😡🐮❤️
Still love this show for what it was. For the most part these actors are quite decent for being kids and teens. To give them credit some of them were quite talented at the ages they were the little or even no experience they'd had with acting on screen. Especially love their commitment to their schedule they had to learn lines and blocking for each episode. I'd say some of the stand out actors from The Tribe had to be the actors who played Lex, Bray, Amber/Eagle, Ram, Zoot, Ebony, Tai-San, Jack, Pride, Trudy, The Guardian, Jay and Salene. Not downplaying any of the other actors whatsoever, but those performances are the ones who stick out the most for me 🤗

I loved Ryan, the strongest character in the tribe, doesn't matter if he was a bit slow or had some sort of learning difficulties, I wish cloud 9 didn't axe him on season 3 I never saw him again. He could have single handedly defeated the tecnos with a little help from the tribe.
@@dildo_baggins4419 to speak in an American accent is very vague advice bc there are so many. Even if they were told to do a Southern accent it'd still be vague.

this is so damn frustrating, why the heck are 3/4 of the cast suppressing their kiwi accents in the show? why are they trying to "north americanize" their actual speech inflections? its made pretty damn clear that the show is set in new zealand. it doesnt make sense cause the actors who play jack, lex, cloe, alice, slade all have their natural kiwi accents. its frustrating to see that these kids obviously dont take pride in their country, otherwise, why hide behind an american accent? im canadian, and its like if i were to act in a show and i decided to throw in a southern U.S accent for no particular reason and hide my natural NORTHERN MIDWEST accent, especially if its made clear the show was in set in canada. new zealand is AMAZING, i dont know why these actors arent proud of their culture, and no point of trying to argue my point, unless there is an explanation to the silliness of pretending to have yankee accents instead of kiwi.
Had it had the local accent, it would have been much less likely the show would have reached as large an audience as it did. The show was amazing, but a lot of us would have never known because the accent is so very difficult to follow. It's the same in most film/tv production. You see most US media assumes the "General American" accent, and rightly so. I know that not a lot of people would have understood my deeper Boston accent, compared to the GA accent. Whether this is the actual reason the show chose this route or not, I've no clue. But it's logical, and a commonly found media practice.

Re - watching the whole tribe series at age 30 in 2018 !!
Re-watching at 22! I nearly spat out my tea when he told them the target audience are 11 to 17 year olds!!!

The actress who plays Ebony is SO cute in real life! They did an amazing job with her makeup - they made her look legitimately menacing!
Ebony was my childhood crush when this came out 😂😂😂
Rewatching it and I’m 31 now 🥰 still my fav all these time 🤍 always and forever the tribe
Im 34 and im right there with ya haha
Man I'm so depressed this is over
Its never over haha mall rats for life!
Its so strange watching the tribe in the middle of a worldwide pandemic
I've been hiding in my bedroom watching tribe all the time Cora won't catch Ginge lol
I wish there was a making of the tribe for each season!

I really enjoyed watching this and hearing everyone's authentic voice. They're all babies here.
I have to say antonia prebble was one of the best actresses on the show!
She's got sweet ass

They're all so beautiful ❤
Aww I remember when this first aired! I have great memories of watching this over and over again waiting for season 2 to start.
Me and my mum have watched this show several times, I'll never get rid of my dvd box sets or music cds
I've never seen this before!! Thank you for uploading!
They look so young hHAHahaha
Right, that's it. Now the lockdown has been enforced (yet again) I'm getting out my complete box set and watching right from the beginning.

I was wondering who that was hahah and then brushed it of... 😂🤦🏾♀️
Oboy and a cheese sandwich at 4pm after school many years ago and this serie was my childhood.
This is awesome! They're all little babies. Maybe you could post their audition-tapes some time?
I totally second this!
Well it was the very late 90's so ya
Am I the only person who has ever wondered why there aren't any babies and toddlers from before the virus?
Kerrie Wilson My guess is they died with no one to look after them, but that's a bit grim to show, so...

baby tribe is freaking cute! I can't even😍
I would love to learn more behind the scenes of the music for the show, each season and theme songs! pretty please
Do you have the CD they made? It's brilliant.
During the tutoring scene, I thought the girl that plays Chloe said "I do social studies, meth..." X'D
I have been waiting for this
It would be awesome if they never stopped filming the tribe and we could see what happend to them after they left on the boat
They carried it on with books but I would've liked more after they left 😭

He did dish out a few slaps in his final scene but yh we never saw him again. I think he decked the guardian quite nicely
Weird to see caleb as a sandy blonde. It looks almost unnatural

Because kids didn't care for them when the parents died or parents killed the toddlers first to protect them from suffer because of hunger ;)
