@@Zamora7 I'm 53 and can't afford any land either! Best advice I can give you youngsters is to get some good job training, nursing, plumbing, carpentry - if you have a solid trade, you can always find work, unlike many office jobs where you sit at a keyboard everyday until you find out your job has been outsourced. People will always need people to fix the plumbing, build a house, look after them when they get sick. Save your money (NO joint accounts!) and someday you will have enough to buy a bit of land somewhere. Look outside your home country, too. It might be cheaper.
you are a very special man... hard working loving husband and father with so many skills also playing the guitar so beautifully...so awesome. The world needs more men like you.
I honestly believe man was meant to live with nature, not against it, why so many of us feel so relaxed and at peace when watching videos like this or camping ourselves. We weren't meant to be isolated from nature, but to be part of it. I wish beyond wishing that I had the money for a camp, I would spend so much time there. We had one shared among extended family years ago but sold off as it wasnt used enough... no one could value how much I wished I had it back, I would almost live out there.
I love that you said you wish beyond wishing... I know you are a kind soul, and you raise a good idea: communal camps! A group of folks wanting to slow their roll go and buy land to use as such. Not a new plan, but a damn good one. Like timeshares for the rest of us. All I know is the less I have, the happier I am. This much is true. So it goes...
You had me when you said, "a few acres of timber and a good wood stove..." My grandparents who were hard working farmers, raised me in the mountains of Alabama. I want to get back to that life one day, right now for me at 45 its a business world, but I am day dreaming and hopefully soon I can start that journey. You got my subscription and Roll Tide!

When I was 17 yrs old I was very stressed about life thinking of being a man & a life of debt like most Americans! I began to long for a simpler life like people used to live. Then, I came across this scripture: “8 Woe to those who join house to house, laying field to field, until there is no more space for you to dwell alone in the midst of the earth!” Isaiah 5 Now at 35 I have had country property for several years with an orchard, spring water & growing more & more of my own food. I love peace & quiet . The way we live today is totally against nature & the way God originally intended it to be
@@Bushradical There are a bunch of different takes on translations of this verse. Some of them mean that, some don't. It's tough to tell, so let's just go with that! biblehub.com/isaiah/5-8.htm
StuntmanMike1978 Too bad you think there are chapters in the Bible! Also, God put Adam and Eve in a garden not a city showing His original plan. He always told His people “Come our from among them & be separate.” He called Abraham from the city to move into a country land. I could go on and on. Believe what you like it doesn’t concern me bc since I am not a cult leader, which by the way 99% of these pastors today are cult leaders no matter the denomination, I don’t get any money for sharing scriptures! I can take Genesis 1:1 & knot that it was God who created everything. I don’t need to quote a whole “chapter” as you seem to think I should to understand that verse. You seem offended I hope you come to learn as the Bible says “11. For who among men understands the things of man except by the spirit of man which is in him? In the same way also, the things of God no one understands except by the Spirit of God. 14. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2 Greek & Hebrew will not give you a true understanding( the Jews spoke these), hermeneutics will not give you understanding & neither will the most famous pastor but only God. Then when God gives understanding you can prove what you believe from Genesis to Revelation with no contradictions.

I would say that giving thanks to the Lord is THE most impressive thing that he did in my opinion. Because it seems he recognizes that all his freedom and abilities are God given. I believe that too few people realize that nowadays unfortunately.

the paper plate was a real disappointment
@@michaeldreher3853 But he is just showing you his day, it isn't like the instagram fake vids, he uses paper and probably burns it in the fire when he is finished, probably if his family were with him he would use his enamel plates, but just for himself it made a simple clean up.. He did so well cooking his breakfast and chopping his wood, cut him some slack 😁 try and just enjoy a glimpse of his day, he isn't fake like so many, he doesn't pretend to be anything other than himself, he is just sharing his piece of getting back to nature.. Just try to watch and enjoy, like a switch off and relax time.. all the sounds of nature and you can almost smell the fire.. 😁 everyone has their own ways, and that is ok...

We had one shared among extended family years ago but sold off as it wasnt used enough... no one could value how much I wished I had it back, I would almost live out there.
where was it
I love that you said you wish beyond wishing...

When I was 17 yrs old I was very stressed about life thinking of being a man & a life of debt like most Americans! I began to long for a simpler life like people used to live. Then, I came across this scripture: “8 Woe to those who join house to house, laying field to field, until there is no more space for you to dwell alone in the midst of the earth!” Isaiah 5
Now at 35 I have had country property for several years with an orchard, spring water & growing more & more of my own food. I love peace & quiet . The way we live today is totally against nature & the way God originally intended it to be
DUDE ! I have never read that verse! Thats an amazing verse. Thanks Demarcus!
Bushradical
Yes sir! One of my favorite verses in regard to this subject
@@Bushradical There are a bunch of different takes on translations of this verse. Some of them mean that, some don't. It's tough to tell, so let's just go with that! biblehub.com/isaiah/5-8.htm
Too bad you took 1 verse out of an entire chapter so that you could make it reflect the meaning YOU wanted. Cult leaders do that too.
StuntmanMike1978
Too bad you think there are chapters in the Bible!
14. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2
Greek & Hebrew will not give you a true understanding( the Jews spoke these), hermeneutics will not give you understanding & neither will the most famous pastor but only God. Then when God gives understanding you can prove what you believe from Genesis to Revelation with no contradictions.
