- I've finally decided to build my first 1/24th scale crawler and I want to bring you along with me as dive deeper into the micro crawler world! Come check out what were building! Starting with an awesome chassis made by Coop Rc called the Eel V2!
Its an awesome high clearance chassis with unlimited mounting options for all sorts of tuning. I chose the tried and true Meus Iso Kinetic front axle and a stock rear Axial axle all connected together with a set of Injora high clearance links.

Let's goo scx24 comp setup❤
Yes it’s going to be awesome!
Heck yeah dude, off to a great start! I can say the Vt3k Yota and Bug bodies both fit the chassis very well if you wanted to go with a hardbody 👍
Thank you man! Excited to get it out on the rocks! Thanks for the advice!
Welcome to arthritus! These little mini's are fun. I like how easy they are to just grab and go as well. Quick indoor or backyard crawls are easy. As far as electronics, 24yep did a great piece on this very thing. Definately worth a view. ua-cam.com/video/PFdse2Z58Nw/v-deo.htmlsi=mQXvN5oPijDEqEnA
Haha thank you brotha! I’m excited to get this thing crawling. I just picked up a reefs 99 micro to put in it and just saw futitek is dropping a micro python combo that won’t break the bank. I may try getting one of those🤘🏼
For electronics I've seen hobby wing a couple times and furitech every where there is also the mofo smp pancake motors servos thankfully is simple reefs or nsdrc both have good servos nsd is a little quieter but reefs is still fine. Tire tip is inserts upfront foams rear and depending on your setup try to pick a tire above 54mm because that's stock anything lower starts to catch the diff alot anything lower than 70mm is general ball park of decent performance the specific tire sadly does depend on slight preference and alot of the terrain onto lexan bodies icebergrc has been a popular pick besides proline and jconcepts and for hard bodies
Just about anything 1/25th scale model kit will fit but wt micro and some other niece companies have hard bodies other than that it's all preference
That is some great info! Thanks for sharing! I really appreciate it! That wheel and tire info helps a lot too because its pretty confusing with all the sizes. Im really excited to get this thing on the rocks. Its already coming along really well.
