The new Mahindra XUV 500 looks and feels like a proper SUV. It has more than adequate interior space and comfort, plus it is also a winner when it comes to everyday city or highway driving. The car packs all the modern day features and runs on a 2.2 L mHawk engine which is available in both petrol and diesel variants. Mahindra has calibrated its 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that emanates more power and torque. With this, it is likely to witness slight change in the performance. As for the 140hp petrol engine, we expect it to be on par with its diesel counterpart. With new elements added to the exteriors, the new Mahindra XUV 500 2018 looks bolder and more aggressive than its predecessor.

Plush new xuv has a steering column or rack problem whenever tilted and hit a small pothole or a pavour block a "khad" sound is heard a new steering rack affixed by mahindra service centre but no results the problem remains and they are not able to diagnose it

Hello Ashish I am a great fan of your reviews. But sorry I brought xuv500 whereas you suggested me on Instagram to go for Ecosport. Though I know how good is ford as I earlier had figo diesel.
But I simply just couldn't resist this XUV attraction..happy so far with it..even before buying I watched this video 2-3 times.
