I think Nick sacrificed himself for his sister. Like the theme was always that she saved him, but in the end it was HIM who saved her. This was such a brilliant storyline and plot. Also, it was so freaking cool. The concept was really original and they definitely did it justice. I really wanna see more from the people who made this game because WOW. 10/10 in all categories imo.

Fun fact: The voice speaking backwards at 12:30 is saying something like "you must stop that guy. He has an appetite for depravity". I couldn't pick up all of it clearly because of Daz talking as well, but from what I could pick up and then reversed it, that is what it was saying.

As a game dev myself, that is a true horror game. No cheap scares, flashy over the top graphics. Just amazing narrative, and perfectly atmospheric. Really takes one into the story. Whoever made this has an unprecedented talent the game industry needs

A lot of youtubers are starting to add echo now. I believe IGP does the same. There is some that even act like they are on a radio if under water, and stuff. It is great.
I like how it increases with the volume of his voice. Sometimes I think it can seem a bit fake because the echo is at like a constant intensity which feels a bit jarring

The voice acting was really good, especially from whoever did Nick. He really managed to make Nick sound really creepy when he was in the game!
Really loved this... would love it to be a series, to have Maya chase Nick through the dark web and getting closer in each episode. Not seen Daz that invested in a horror playthrough for ages. Excellent...... 'Nick, you slag!!' made me laugh out loud too!! 😂
"Siblings with shared traumatic pasts tend to grow apart quicker as adults" unfortunately that's how it went for me and my younger sister. We had a pretty traumatic childhood, the worst of it being when we were in our early teens. We were the best of friends growing up and even more so during our teen years when pretty much all we had was each other.. But since we've been adults, it's been different. We still see each other quite often but don't really talk at all. We've barely said two words to each other in probably 10 years.

Daz makes turns any horror game into a comedy, I love it.
So, my idea of the ending was probably:
Nick was probably sucked into the game and had to try to defeat the demon or do something like that to get out but had a hope of returning (remember that he had said that he would be back in a while at the start). However, because his sister went into the game to save him and he protected her, he probably ended up dead or otherwise passed the point of no return in exchange for her freedom. Pretty horrible.
When he went to open the shower curtain, the noise he made in fear made me almost die of laughter. I have re-watched that moment over and over because I can't help but laugh. Thanks for that, Daz. 😂

The dark web was originally made for the military and secret intelligence. It was never intended for the psychopaths in the world to find it and use it as a chat room.
The funny thing is, is that the government actually made it. It was made to help US spies communicate without being traced, but eventually it became over run by creeps
