i remember when me (17) and my big brother(18) went to see this consert and we were both so amazed we had to go on our way back home to buy their debut album and we listened that like 5 times every day for weeks. they are the reason i started play guitar and listen to metal. this is real metal!!

Well, it went down like this. Metallica did an arena show in Finland October 1988. The guys from Stone gave them their new single to listen. "This is what we do up here in the north". Low and behold, next Metallica album has a song with a familiar riff.

Tokihan, Stone oli mainio bändi, mutta en käsitä minkätakia sitä pitäisi suosia jonkun ulkomaisen bändin kustannuksella. Eppäilemättä on myös turhauttavvaa kun porukka ymmärtää väärin mitä nää sanot. Ongelma vaan on, että suht harva meistä on ajatustenlukijoita, minkä takia kannattais mösjöön panostaa ulosantiin enempi. Jos sanot että stone on vanhempi kun metallica, vähän vaikia ymmärtää se niin että kappale get stoned on vanahempi kun sandman.
Tämä on Speed Metallia, ei Thrashia, kun on kerran puhtaat vokaalit. 80-luvulla puhuttiin Speed Metallista, mutta on terminä vaipunut unholaan ja yleisesti puhutaan vain Thrashista...anyway pääsinpä pätemään ja nipottamaan ;)
Ei tosiaankaan, tuohan on yksin ihan peruskuvioita jo lastentarhasta tilululii ylös ja sama alas. Aikoinaan mua häiritsi toi alun yksinkertaisuus -niin varmaan tekijöitäkin vuoden päästä, mutta kyllä siitä yli pääsi kun on hyvät saundit ja styge.
