You have to try adding a big teaspoon of cacao to your matcha latte before you blend it. Chocolate matcha lattes are one of my favs.
Thanks for the meal inspo Alyse! Being vegan myself, I appreciate that they are mostly plant-based, but I feel it's a good base and then everybody can add whatever they want, meat or not 😊

If you’ve followed the cleaning directions from Vitamix and it didn’t come clean I’m sure they will gladly replace it for you and send a brand new container (from my experience). Vinegar overnight usually works well. Good luck!
#emailfam I just want you to know, I have been following your journey since your days on the fruit farm in your lil van, and ever since I have just been inspired by your energy. It doesn't matter what you share or what you try or how you change over time, I just enjoy you. We all grow and change, and that's exactly how it's supposed to be. When I first started watching you I was a lil hippie with dreads in my early 20s about to move into a Scamp camper and travel. Now I'm in recovery from a dv situation and addiction, I have since found the love of my life, love for myself and my body, and have a little baby girl on the way! I have had all kinds of different phases for food in my life too, but what I always feel from your videos when they pop up is that I can go make a smoothie and just rest and love and just be. So thank you for always being there for little moments of rest in my day. Even during my dark time, a few of your videos reminded me of when my life was brighter and that there will be brightness again. So I'm going to go make something yummy and enjoy my daughter kicking my kidney, and enjoy my brightness again. Thanks for growing with me and just being you and sharing your light no matter what it looks like. I'm going to tell her the same.

Alyse….I had to come back to this vid just to let you know I tried the kraut-avo-rice cake thing!!!! I ferment my own sauerkraut at home, and I am always looking for ways to use it since it makes such a big batch every time. I improvised a little and used ingredients I had on hand to re-create your recipe. Subbed everything but the bagel seasoning for the hemp and primal dairy-free Buffalo for the Truff. GIRL! I am obsessed!!! I’ll have to try and get my hands on some Truff sauce

She was never vegan for animal rights. So i wouldn't say she ever had values about things like that. Just because she was vegan and minimalist doesn't mean she ever voiced her opinion about climate change, textile industry going to landfills, child labor/labor issues, etc. She was a little health focused/ based but that seemed like that was the extent of it.

I have a vintage Chanel t-shirt that I bought at goodwill as a teenager in the 90s that I still wear now... literally any brand you could wear is available second hand, so unless your values are making all your own clothes from scratch, anything is good.

I don't understand how anyone can eat the hairy, sharp-tasting kiwi skins...? So unappealing. If I'm concerned about wasting the fruit I just cut in half and scoop the flesh out.
@@amber726 understandble. I first did it because the skin is so healthy and fiber rich. Try it with golden kiwis that aren't hairy firsr. Everyone I know that tried it says its pretty much an acquired taste. Seems weird at first but then you won't wanna go without

Those permissions are hachiyas. They're not really ripe until they get very gooey and super soft. Like oozing soft. I'm surprised you were able to tolerate it because at that stage they usually still have an unpleasant cottony mouthfeel. Try the fuyus, which can be eaten when hard. They are rounder. Good to see you eat plant-based foods as a long-time vegetarian myself! 🤗
AH YES! that’s why i took the skin off. it was totally fine without the skin + lime juice. definitely could have waited a lil longer to eat 😅

I’m the same with water. Everyone thinks I’m weird lol my blood pressure was dangerously low a couple weeks ago because I was so dehydrated. The only way I can consume plain water is if it’s FREEZING cold with tons of ice. I like my water with lemon or mio or crystal light even though those are totally not healthy options 😂

From the email #emailfam it doesn’t sound like she is plant based but like this was a step in reclaiming her expression in the UA-cam world. Perhaps she is eating more plant based but also still eating the animal products she needs to feel well 🤷🏽♀️

If you wish to do some of what she does based off the research you yourself have done that’s great. it’s not a personal problem. This is not a useful diet to be sharing with anyone - there was nowhere NEAR enough food consumed in a day and you can literally see her panicking when her bf attempted to alter her food plans. These are all classic ED signs and she has a history of even more f*cked up eating. Take your encouragement of EDs somewhere else

It needs to be refrigerated. It can last for several days in the fridge.
yes! i put mine in the fridge right after i make it. then i use the milk from a 32oz mason jar within 4ish days in my morning matcha lattes!

Before you commenters start whining about protein, you should know that there is a full serving of protein in this meal between the hemp milk, avocado, and sprouts. So keep your protein comments to yourself.
Yet there are critical components like collagen, amino acids, some vitamins that human beings need to survive/thrive & can only be found in animal proteins which is why vegans have to take b12 supplements. Do you realize a vegan human being would die in nature without access to a vitamin store? They would have to eat meat to live. Also, babies drink breast milk naturally which again, is an animal food. Humans are carnivores. So you can keep your ignorant comments to yourself.
Your body needs some meat. Eggs, fish, etc.
