i have a theory that Victoria Legrand is an earth angel whose soul mission was to come here to give us this music. the music is truly beyond this world. when i found them in 2016, i never knew how much they would deeply impact the rest of my life. (in the most amazing ways). seeing them live a couple days ago was the best experience ever.

A magnum opus. Been a fan of Beach House since 2012. I'm 22 now, so that's just about half my life.... Wild. Anyways, Vic and Alex, thank you for this and everything that's led to this point. Being there for the evolution of Beach House has been such an honor and I hope new and old fans alike can look forward to hearing more from y'all in the future ✨💫

I can not describe exactly how I felt when I first heard Once, Twice, Melody. It’s like drinking a shot of all different sorts of alcohol on a rack in a pub. You cannot tell exactly what it was but all you know after that one shot, you’d be always looking for it until you get enough. But obviously tho, I wouldn't get enough of any songs from this pop duo. I'm glad they re-surfaced back, they're helping loads of people with their music. ‘Been a fan for a long time since I was 15, no regrets being part of this indie family:)long live Beach House.

Their singing is great the instrumental part of each song is excellent. Their music is all listen to now. How is it we never hear about bands like this. Couple weeks ago didn't know they existed. Thanks UA-cam

Through Me could be the best song on the album. It's such a complex record but that song could be the strongest on the whole record. Just perfect man it's a wonder of a song.

I love the way 'Sunset' is so organic. Suddenly it just interrupts the sort of sonic wall and brings you back briefly to this sunny garden of eden. Down to earth. The video is a good reflection it is also organic.

@@craxbird I don't get high on cannabis a lot but I like to do a bit of edibles and listen to this amazing record. It sharpens the record to a point when you listen to it high. I am just so amazed at the beauty in this record. It like encompasses a lifetime of living or something in the wisdom of this record. I'm just in awe. Listening to it right now high. Wow!

I'm really sad this video came to an end it feels like I'm saying goodbye to someone I love, 4 days after my sister passed away on may 3rd this album just showed up in autoplay while I was outside at night cleaning and superstar made me cry I just got the chance to finish the whole video today and it feels sad to me, I wish I could experience this album again because this album heals my pain, whenever I don't know what to listen to I kept coming back to this video and I always listen to this when I'm cleaning out my sister's house it's like it personally for me became an album dedicated to her god I miss her so much Rest easy sweet angel I love you so much and I'll never forget you.

Depression Cherry was really beautiful for a really sad time in my life. It's still my absolute favorite BH album ever, actually top 10 of all time.

I have to say too, and this could just be the state of mind I've been in for much of this year, there is a serious sense of finality to this album as a whole, certain songs in particular, so I can relate. Until recently I had every intention of this being the last album I ever listened to.
How lucky I was to have my daughters take me to this show; Victoria and Alex did not disappoint! Always enjoyed BH peripherally, but this album is on a different plane of experience. So much depth of feeling, and Victoria has honed her voice perfectly to match the ethereal spirit of the whole album. At first I thought Chapter One carried the rest but after each listen, Chapters 2-4 get stronger and stronger. The tension they create with layered dissonant phrasings throughout is just killer. If there is a heaven and I end up there (not likely!), I hope this is the soundtrack. A defining album of the 2020s and on my desert island playlist. Cannot get enough.

Never expected that from Beach House, I'm so glad they're venturing into new sonic territory instaed of sticking to the earlier motifs and formulas. 7 was like a fusion between their usual sound and something new and very psychedelic, and OTM comes along and redefines Beach House fully. I absolutely love it.

@@mikeexits I always loved a couple of songs. Think I first found Space Song one day which was quite mind blowing and then I heard Myth and never forgot how special that was. I never really looked into their discography or knew too much more about them otherwise, but I then knew that I love Dream Pop lol. When I saw this album I was just for some reason drawn to click on it remembering how amazing some of their stuff is. After the first few songs I was intrigued and had to listen again. Then I had to listen to the entire album. Then I had to listen to it again a few times lol before I realized this is just insanely incredible. I don't even usually care for albums in any genre. I am a music lover of note though and know and enjoy massive amounts of music of many types. This album is now just very special to me.
@@mikeexits I'm sorry for going on but I'd say that the majority of the songs on OTM are just incredible and the rest are almost as good to me lol.
Saw them March 23rd in Atlanta Georgia and had the best night of my life :) my 1st concert & it was so enlightening I can’t comprehend being depressed or suicidal again.
I was there too. So disappointed that they didn’t play Masquerade or Black Car… and also the encore only being one song (only Over and over )
I was there too. That show was incredible. I was thrilled they played Dark Spring & Lemon Glow.
Beach House was my first concert too! I saw them in 2013 and they've changed my life and my relationship to music. I've seen them live 6 times now

I was there. The energy in the room was full of love and appreciation. You witnessed something very special to carry with you forever. Bands like this come around once in a lifetime.

it feels weird to say but I think this is BH's best. Cohesive without sounding repetetive. Long but not ponderously so. Never thought Bloom could get nudged out of my top spot for their albums, but I think OTM is number one with a bullet

I went to the local music/gift shop to get my daughter a birthday card and they were playing Beach House. It sounded so good I had to ask who it was. Amazing stuff!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this beautiful full album video...I saw them just a month ago in April at the Greek Theater at UC Berkeley, they were amazing. Listening to "Superstar" still gives me goosebumps. Thanks again.

This is one of the best psychedelic albums I've ever heard/seen. I only first learned of Beach House in 2018 with the release of "7". While Beach House has several prime albums before 2018, "Once Twice Melody" is evidence that Beach House is still improving their song-craft and sound-craft.
The album-length video for "7" was a fantastic showcase of how black and white shapes play together. "Once Twice Melody" adds both colour and animated lyrics while also including multiple art directors to help vary the visual style song by song. Masterful work!
There are not filler songs in this album. All of them are made with so much love and dedication.

This is transcendently amazing. Utterly beautiful. Just heard the first track and it had me asking myself "Where has this been all my life?" I know we should be concerned about the way that big media algorithms track our every movement on the internet, but holy cow, I love the way my UA-cam premium subscription keeps feeding me great content! I love being exposed and introduced to so much wonderful music and content that appeals to my tastes so well.

This band can do no wrong for me. I'm listening to Finale. The graphics are so cool and incredible. It's like this ultra modern world in these computer generated vids on these so beautiful songs. Isn't life sweet sometimes. Now I'm listening to The Bells and I can't believe how evocative this music is. Evocative of life and beauty and all we experience. There really is more love needed in this world, Peace on all.

I've already come to the conclusion that this album is one of their very best (2nd best for me, beating out even the likes of Bloom); but man shout out to the visuals going on with these songs (and the album itself, honestly.) Not only do they capture the vibe pretty fantastically but a lot of them are just mindblowing. Like a lot of the music on the album itself, they're aesthetics I never would have foreseen Beach House toying with, and I'm so happy they did.
I've been listening this on loop for days... I am feeling powerful :)
