In 2002 East Africa's leaders converged on Kampala to celebrate Marshal Idi Amin's exit. The highlight was a poem by Uganda's literature guru, Prof. Timothy Wangusa, whose otherwise hillarious content can also be reason for anguish. But you will also see how Dr. Milton Obote looks at the now fading significance of Amin's defeat. James Magambo & PPU covered it for posterity.
