So true. I like listening to foreign languages for sleep because my Brain completely zones out because I only know English and a little bit of Spanish. If I hear English I get distracted because my Brain subconsciously and automatically processes the words I hear so basically subconsciously eavesdropping if I hear people speaking English
Your abilities should never be downplayed. Your fluency, your studies, you earned those! I’m so proud of you! Also linguistics was my favorite class in undergrad. Now I just have to learn it in german whilst not falling asleep.

the German whispers are soooo good. I'd love to see a trigger where you plucked and "ate" the viewer with chopsticks. I don't think I've seen anyone really do that and your spoon eating trigger is one of my favorites 🥰

I took some German in high school and it was surprisingly easy to learn, I wish I had kept up with it! Bu it’s nice to hear it just spoken naturally and see what I am able to still pick up :)

I studied music performance, and had to take a certain amount of classes for two languages, plus diction classes to pronounce everything correctly. I always felt like German has a lovely lilt to it, and the sound is so round and bouncy!
