Recorded live for a special DVD presentation, this is Kahvas Jute performing their hits at the Basement in Sydney in 2005 featuring the talents of Bob Daisley, Tim Gaze and Dennis Wilson....legends of Australian music.

This is the original line-up of Kahvas Jute, except for the drummer. The original drummer in Kahvas Jute was Danny Davidson, who prior to KJ was drummer for Tamam Shud along with Tim Gaze who was lead guitarist.

I saw this line up of Kharvis Jute on number of occasions at HORNSBY POLICE BOYS CLUB DANCE in 1970 and 1971 . My mates and our girlfriends sat in the chairs in front of stage watching the whole set mesmerized. Behind us a floor of 500 kids dancing. No alcohol was consumed.

The drummer reminds me of Mitch Mitchell! Loved these guys . Tim was in my class at high school and seemed far more mature than the the rest of us mad bunch. Way ahead..a bit of a child prodigy.
