Oh hey Dino, where's the creepy eye hiding? I miss it. Also TYVM for reviving all those great memories of my mom & I listening to, and later watching Gildersleeve series. 👍👍 & 5⭐ for great Family Friendly entertainment of better days long time gone.
Harold Peary is the first and best Gildy. He wrote the character and should've been better compensated and remembered. Waterman was close but no heart IMHO.
I don't dislike William Waterman, but I always will think of Harold Peary as the definitive Throckmorton P. Gildersleeve. It's not Waterman's fault that the network and Peary had a parting of the ways, and he does a decent job. But it's just not the same.
Willard Waterman was a comic genius. Unfortunately he is all but unknown today. Thank you for uploading him in all his magnificence.
How in this world did they find someone soooo similar to Harold Perry voice etc??🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
Thanks for this stream. It was a welcome addition to my morning 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!

Uh oh! Gildersleeve tries to help his son-in-law with always a disastrous result!
