I feel like the video is way too long for a simple concept, since you spent the entire video saying "let's pick up this edge" but why? to what end? could be useful to just take the formuale, take an interpretation that satisfies it, then build the vertex cover from there. This type of problem involves initial guessing.. almost like trying to solving a maze. If I didn’t refer to the notes, the video would have been even longer due to the initial guess work.
For anyone watching this, he does actually end up with 9 nodes exactly. He forgets to count the 3rd b node on the right.
