MrChalaki I do not agree. I think if Traci was light with all of that confidence she would be hated on worse. But one thing we can agree on is that she has a gift of dancing as well as teaching, and can bring out the talent in her kids.
Not only is Traci beautiful (and I mean Lupita level Gorgeous) but she danced like a damn goddess. I wouldn't be surprised to see her guest judging on So You Think You Can Dance (if it's still on). And her dancers.....Awesome!! DD was ill prepared for the wrath of Traci and Co.
I just love how after YCDT wins, everybody wanna say YCDT shouldn't even be battling Dancing Dolls because it's a majorette competition, but nobody was screaming that when Dancing Dolls beat YCDT last time? Wonder why? Everytime YCDT wins, y'all pull out the excuse book and start reading them off. YCDT does majorette as well as other types of dance. Its not their faults that the Dancing Dolls are a one dimensional team. This should motivate Diana to step up her game! It has nothing to do with who should or shouldn't be battling. It's about the fact that the Dolls simply did not "Bring It" this time. YCDT slays, end of story.

The DD may know how to "dance" but their moves do not show precision. Traci's girl are all on ONE accord; legs, hands, head movement, etc. They are clean cut with their movements and they just altogether look put together vs. the DD that looks sloppy. And although these are little girls and not adults, Diana needs to invest in a nutrition and workout plans for all of the girls. It's not cute at all to see young girls with highlighted belly fat in costumes that are not becoming. Now I've heard Diana mention that if viewers have a problem with the costumes then they should donate towards them - so here's my solution. Go and sell some fish dinners with some sides to pay for new uniforms. If you add some sweet tea you may even get an opportunity for a cleaning service. I just feel like the lack of interest in their look just makes them a target for judgement and ridicule. Great job to my fellow Bull and classmate Traci. Ain't nothing like a Miami ass whoopin.
I'm glad you touched on the cleanliness of YCDT studio...I was looking at DD studio like damn clean up. Clear difference on work ethic. I also think DD needs some toning up to look more put together. Cuz when you compare the two groups you can see a distinct difference in whose more professional.
I think their wake up call happened the first time Misha (captain of ycdt) did that death drop, at that point the DD should have hit the gym, studied dancing techniques, fixed their weaves, hired a new choreographer, and bought new outfits. The DD are poor losers, they simply are not always the best team creatively, technology, or aesthetically (in my opinion) but instead of being good sports about it they get their "feelings hurt" and have attitudes. (RITTANY)
***** That's my biggest problem with Dolls...instead of upgrading themselves to get on a higher level, they complain and make excuses on why they lost. Dianna let them walk outside with bonnets and head scarfs on, which I find very tacky and ghetto, and they hair still look like they got it done for Christmas!

Z. Montoya I don't follow them on IG. I am bored enough with them on the show. And yes when they dance alone, I always ask myself, "is this some type of joke?" People put Dianna on the pedestal for her work but her dancers will never make it with their level of dance. She gotta do better!
The reason Traci is super serious is because she's a trained professional dancer. Tina was hating hard, How is she going to say it's about the kids but then last season they wanted to hop their big butts out on the floor every other week. Bye girl don't hate the shape. Erin Waters Bish bye this was Traci's only time performing which is why you, Tina and the rest of DDP, who I bet had stank faces during her performance, besides Selena and Tawanza that know how to give props when their due are salty. Ms. D and Traci are not friends. They are cordial, there's a difference. They don't know each other or hang out in real life. The only reason they became cool was to cease the drama online. If Ms. D was really her friend that "black ass" comment wouldn't have came out of her mouth.
Another thing that really bothered me was Diana's comment on Traci when she came out on the floor. I get Diana was trying to be funny, but what she said was disrespectful. Is Diana mad that she is shaped like a squid. Traci did the damn thing and everybody that knew she killed was hating like Kayla's mom. Why they saying it's about the kids they gone be the next ones having Diana and her trout mouth ass coming out of a cardboard doll house.
It wasn't mama T who complain about Traci being on the floor, it was Tina. Like I said on one of the videos those moms, Tina, Rittany and Mimi and coach D are all hypocrites.

If the twins were horrible Ms. D won't have them perform in any dances. Majority of the time the twins are in creative dance, but all of a sudden they are cut? Huh? I just think the whole thing with Star, Zatia is another story line.

I love DD but those girls got to get in shape. They've got to make working out regularly apart of their schedules. They are very talented & beautiful girls but they've got to step their game up.
The only girls that are in shape are Christianna, Sunjai and few of the other girls, but a lot of them really should be in shape, especially captain Kayla. She should lead by example.

I was sort of shocked when Dianna told her girls to "Shut the fuck up" as they were getting ready for the Creative dance. LIke, really? I didn't like when she said "Here comes Traci's black ass!" I kind of cringed when she said that. I also didn't like how Dianna tried to blame the girls for that horrible performance. She knew good and well that it wasn't at perfection before the competition. Some of those speeches that she gives would have more effect, if she would've told it to the girls while they were on a winning streak.
Ayden Montrell right they were telling her its too hard and confusing and she stuck with it .. that was 100%on her .. and if u look at the real dance and not that edited bs lifetime shows .. the girls danced very well and they weren't as terrible as lifetime tried to make it out. It was Diana's choreography that fucked it up

In my opinion, the episode was very boring. The dolls were just awful. Miami didn't need to have props but they still whooped the dolls. My thing is, Dianna thinks her team can beat anybody, you're not gonna win all the time, just like Miami, there not gonna win all the time. In all, the episode was just the usual, last week episode was better if u asked me. The energy wasn't here this episode
I loved this episode!!!! I actually get some satisfaction from when YCDT beat DD!! Because they are actual competition & you can tell Diana didn't know what to do with some real competition!! She had to go pull out all the stops & still didn't produce! & I agree with Traci having her team more organized & neat, & I can tell she's grooming those young women for success!!!! As far as Bitter Tina & Messy MiMi & Brittany I mean Rittany, they all need to go sit it down!!! I wish they'd realize your daughters are good dancers but they aren't the baddest thing to step foot on this land! & My last thought, everyone needs a makeover, especially Tina that bright red hair needs to go!!!!! That was Tina that said its about the kids when Traci was dancing not Tawanza. But they didn't have anything to say when Dianna was doing it. Traci may be cocky but she getting her kids ready for the real world. Kids getting full scholarships, I don't see Dianna saying nothing like that but they sure use these kids to host camps and collect coins. This Bring It! show is not gonna last forever. It's sad but the mamas and Dianna are using this kids to make money.
Disclaimer...I am a FAN of the dancing dolls. I have traveled to support them in competition with my niece on many occasions so there is no hate here. I was surprised when I found out that the dancing dolls have some of the WORST attitudes around. My niece asked Kayla to take a quick pic and Kayla turned her nose up and walked passed her with her mom Tina who just laughed. The only ones that are friendly is Selena, Sunjai, Camyrn's dad and JJ. The girls were at McDonalds last year in Alabama and this girl started to dance for them and said she wanted to be a dancing doll. (you could tell she was a little slow) the girls started laughing and was like you cant dance with us. After that, my niece was done traveling with me. lol I think the show has changed them especially Dianna who needs to humble herself. If you remember Dianna bending over in front of Neva's girl (check the episode) as if to say she is shitting on them. I was there and Dianna caused most of that drama by talking noise on the sidelines. But the camera editing told a different story. Dianna is always talking noise on the sidelines where her girls are getting spanked then gets in front of the cameras and say she is "defending her girls" Child please, the people in the stands know the real deal. Dianna is intimidated by Traci because Traci is on a dance level that Dianna is not on. So rather than congratulate her, she throws shade. Traci has the right to throw shade because Dianna got a man to pretend he was tracy and was surprised when Traci flipped it on her. Dianna always dances with her girls when they travel to events. (like the Essence Festival) But when Traci dances wit her girls then there is a problem. huh? what? Dianna needs to stop cursing so much and calm down and teach her girls to always be humble to the fans because at the end of the day, we are the ones that support the show and support the competitions.
Girl you speak the truth!! The same thing happen at one of their meet and greet, tour what ever they call it. Some of the moms and their kids be having some nasty attitude, especially that Kayla kid. She needs to humble herself a bit. I understand sometimes it's hard to keep a smile on when you're tired and exhausted, but people pay money to see and support you. The rightful thing to do is smile and take pictures with them. JJ, Selena, Sunjai and Mimi took their time to take pictures with the fans. Out of all of the kids Sunjai is the most humble. You can tell she's tired after all the dancing and stuff, but still put a smile on and willing to take pictures with the fans who ask for a picture. And yes, Dianna really is intimidated by Traci.

YCDT did that and they deserved to sweep the competition. I knew they were going to win just based on the fact that they added live percussion. Their routine was well thought out and choreographed. Honestly Ms. D sometimes throws so much into a routine it complicates it. She knew they didn't have it in practice and she shouldn't have pulled it, but then she decided to blame the girls when it was more so her fault. Also I find it funny people are not noticing that DD borrows a lot of ideas from other teams but will be quick to call out a team if they borrow something form the dolls. Justin do you know if their captain Misha got into FSU's School of Dance?

I get tired of people saying Traci need to battle teams like Abby Lee you guys put down your own team. I don't see how Traci team is anything like Abby Lee girls but you guys seem to think that Abby Lee girls are better and better competition for Ycdt as to say Dancing Dolls dancing is subpar. You people insult yourselves but carry on with the excuses every time YCDT wins. Maybe because I went to HBCU I see more than just bucking from majorette teams.
No they don't go to a performing arts school and yes they are versatile but they still do majorette. Just because they do leg extensions doesn't mean they should compete with Abby. That's just the style of majorette dance Traci does. Which I see many college majorette teams does. Dancing dolls have done lyrical pieces so does that mean they should battle abby lee too??
forgive me i cant remember the name right now but misha got a full ride to a performing arts school and you kinda need some type of technique /versatility to get there so if they were to battle abby lee idk if they would win but they are capable because they have training......

I'm seriously trying to understand why ppl feel YCDT shouldn't be battling The Dancing Dolls? These kids all attend school in the inner city exactly 2blocks away from where the 1st 48 is filmed.. (not the best neighborhood) However that doesn't mean that talent can't come from there Traci has trained and disciplined her girls that's the only difference.. I commend her for showing her kids it's not about where u come from but where you're going.. Alot of those girls were born & raised in the hood but they can dance with the best of them... Stop making excuses!
First the girls go to perform schools, so traci didn't train them alone. Second you say the ycdt girls are from the hood and commend traci on helping them, yet Diana does the same thing and no recognition and Dianna not only takes in these girls but she takes some in a 15-16 years old with no backgroind in dance and teaches them. Honestly no matter who which team you like, no matter which coach is better, no matter who dances better, everybody needs to give credit where credit is due. Ycdt has excellent technique and are excellent jazz and lyrical dancers, but have child like facial expressions and when comes to hip-hop thay look off and kind of weird. On the other hand DD has good mostly "age appropriate" facial expressions and can dance very well in hip-hop, but there technique can use some work, they should fully do a move before moving on, because they are actually very flexible if they slow down and complete a move, and it wouldn't hurt to venture past just hip-hop. No team is perfect. P.S. Not make excuses but the whole thing about traci being more creative when it comes to stand, in creative dance Dianna is Traci's bitch, is total bullshit, because if you watch the full stand battles of DD vs Ycdt, all three, the 2 times Ycdt won majority of their stands or at least the substance of their stand were "stolen" or mimics of the dancing dolls stands and "cheerleading" lifts, but when they lost none of their stand were mimics and only had one "cheerleading" stunt.
DeAndre Johnson Traci is their dance teacher at Miami Northwestern which a Public school not performing arts. So yes she did train them. Which also happens to be her alma mater too. Please check your facts before you stated information you heard on the show. Me and Traci grew up together she has been dancing since she was a child and has always been a beast at it. I too am a product of Miami Northwestern high school.

I'm honestly hoping the rumor windmill is correct that Traci is getting her own show and will hopefully pick teams to battle in FL, since their is continued commentary claiming that DD4L are not on their level.
This review was 100 and as a former dancer, I must say that I respect Tracy. Tracy gives her girls a real life perspective of the dance world. Example, when she said to one of her girls suck your stomach in, I can see what you ate the night before. In that arena, the teachers speak to you like that without a care for your feelings and any dancers out here know I'm telling the truth. I think it's cute for those who don't won't to dance professionally and are just in high school doing something whom are overweight. However, if you want to pursue dance (ballet, modern, jazz, nba, nfl cheerleaders) you have to give it to the kids straight. I remember long ago when I tried out for the J-settes, the coach told me, I don't adjust my suits to your body, you adjust to my suits. Happy for all the girls though.
I think the situation with Sunjai last season, Star, Sky and zatia are all contrived. Sunjai went from barely making cuts to always up in the front, Dianna and syleena said the twins were on the team for 2 years just not on the battle squad. So they went from in the background dancing to now getting cut and then Zatia was on the baby dolls but couldn't remember choreography then this episode she could? They just needed storylines and mama T and selena easier to target than the other mamas with their nasty attitudes.
Loved the review!!! I'm convinced the ddp are haters except Selena and momma T. The cameras probably didn't show the other parents cause they couldn't edit their rude ass faces and comments! Diana and Brittany be quick to come for JustinJ but I was very disgusted by their comments regarding Traci. To be honest YCDT makes the show cause babbbbbbyyyy DD4L is overrated...the show doesn't even show a lot of the routines anymore it's more talking and I always fall asleep...Divas or Olive garden were good but y'all ran them off cause y'all do that to teams that come for y'all ass. The Dancing Dolls are such poor losers, which kills me because they are a really good team. Being that the Dancing Dolls dance well and have accomplished alot and won many competitions, I would think that they would take this loss as a wake up call. I guess it was so emotional because they didn't win nothing not one damn trophy. They get so big headed and cocky that when they lose it hits them hard. They just need to do better as a team who is supposed to be one of the best.
That's the same thing I said.. Tracis is very very serious with her, she don't play. And that captain definitely don't play, don't talk, don't smile, don't laugh, just straight about her business the whole time and that's one thing I do like and I think the dancing dolls need to be more serious and make intimidating faces while dancing instead of looking tired and Kayla, Tamia and Cameron are the only ones "giving them face". Despite what the dancing dolls might say, the teams tat they battle are definitely on her level and that's the point of a competition. Compete with people on your level or that's close to your level to really see who is the best. Traci's team is professionally trained.. they are so much more experienced and just far better dancers than DD. Lifetime were the ones who asked them on the show because I think they wanted to really give the dolls some real competition but they went too far. They should have got somebody who's the best in there city/state too but not professionals, that would be interesting to see because watching a professional team like YCDT , the dancing dolls are basically amateurs next to them so of course if not all the time then most of the time , YCDT is going to win. They planned that out wrong.
Diana needs a closet for her dancers -- other than that - you will find dancers dance bags/clothes etc, in a corner, that's not unusual. They are two different types of dance troupes, DD are competing all the time, with different groups -- Traci Troupe, don't do that and they performance is more geared to be a dance troupe that performs at different venues (colleges, theatre, etc. ) You can see the differences in the technical aspect of Traci's dance troupe. Before Bring it - I had never seen DD type of dancing -- but I have see dance troupes like traci's - good luck to all of them!

When Big Red was crying at the end speaking to the girls you know she was talking about Justinj1232 lol j/k she probably be on social media fighting every negative comment she reads and in that moment felt like a fool for it. This is the first time Kayla looked defeated to me. I didn't see that fire that she usually has. I absolutely love the YCDT's Jazz walk. It just commands attention and has so much presence. Their jazz walk basically set the tone for both performances. Diana shouldn't be surprised she lost. She basically copied what Tracy did last year. Her secret weapon was a boy poorly outfitted hitting back flips down a soul train line. Where's the technicality/intricate moves? She even had the baby dolls dressed in tutus like the YCDT. I didn't enjoy this episode at all. The music is really killing it for me. It just makes no sense and really I don't understand why we can't see the entire performances, it's not like 20 teams compete! Shit there's only about 20 damn people in the stands watching this shit! They even tried to cover up the damn African drum players. That's their own material that they played, but I guess just because you show up to play ya own shit still doesn't count!

I love DD but IMO Diana doesn't have the creativity level to move Dancing Dolls past their current level. Tracy from Miami has that creativity. The straight jacket theme could have been a killer performance. However im not confident Diana could take the performance where it needed to go to beat Miami. Diana doesn't push her team to perfect each move. I love the Dancing Dolls but sometimes they're sloppy and Diana allows it. If Star and Sky have been dancing under Diana for 2 years..they should NOT be as "boring" as they are. Just my opinion.

it's always sooooo much excuses everytime YCDT beats the dolls, fans always feel like it's never a fair battle but mind you when the dolls beat YCDT doll fans was quick to talk shit about YCDT talking about how they suck and all that but now that they lost ya'll wanna come up with every excuse in the book? it's ridiculous people can never give this team their credit.
People say ycdt shouldn't battle the dancing dolls when the dancing dolls lose. When they (dd) win everybody screaming DD4L...I think it's fine that they battle each other. It's just obvious that one team is technically trained and the other isn't really (for lack of better words). They are both good in their own right. Let them battle who they want. A win is a win and a loss is a loss. Everybody can't have the same style and every teacher can't have the same type of training either. It is what it is....we all like both teams and when they're are two or more comparisons will be made. That's all.
yea, Miss.D isnt technically/professionally trained whatsoever in any aspect of life. Her girls deserve better, they should go over to shanika, Shanika is professionally trained in majorette,hip hop, AND lyrical. my opinion.
Other than getting exposure for her dance company, Traci doesn't need to do Bring it, her troupe's dancing is too technical for any of the competing groups - However, there dance companies out there with similiar dance training who certainly can give Traci's company some real competition! I am sure she knows this, even on TV there's Dance Mom's. and So you think you can dance etc. Where the competition technical level is much higher! Maybe that's the next step? I wish her well!

I love Traci too! Ppl come down so hard on her I feel only cuz she is a confident lovely dark-skin sista with shit loads of talent! Had she been a light skin black girl no one would really have an issue with her like that! I loved this episode as well Justin
MrChalaki I do not agree. I think if Traci was light with all of that confidence she would be hated on worse. But one thing we can agree on is that she has a gift of dancing as well as teaching, and can bring out the talent in her kids.
Not only is Traci beautiful (and I mean Lupita level Gorgeous) but she danced like a damn goddess. I wouldn't be surprised to see her guest judging on So You Think You Can Dance (if it's still on). And her dancers.....Awesome!! DD was ill prepared for the wrath of Traci and Co.

I just love how after YCDT wins, everybody wanna say YCDT shouldn't even be battling Dancing Dolls because it's a majorette competition, but nobody was screaming that when Dancing Dolls beat YCDT last time? Wonder why? Everytime YCDT wins, y'all pull out the excuse book and start reading them off. YCDT does majorette as well as other types of dance. Its not their faults that the Dancing Dolls are a one dimensional team. This should motivate Diana to step up her game! It has nothing to do with who should or shouldn't be battling. It's about the fact that the Dolls simply did not "Bring It" this time. YCDT slays, end of story.
Lifetime doesn't let the dolls do other times of dance very often because their other show dance moms covers the other types of dance

The DD may know how to "dance" but their moves do not show precision. Traci's girl are all on ONE accord; legs, hands, head movement, etc. They are clean cut with their movements and they just altogether look put together vs. the DD that looks sloppy. And although these are little girls and not adults, Diana needs to invest in a nutrition and workout plans for all of the girls. It's not cute at all to see young girls with highlighted belly fat in costumes that are not becoming. Now I've heard Diana mention that if viewers have a problem with the costumes then they should donate towards them - so here's my solution. Go and sell some fish dinners with some sides to pay for new uniforms. If you add some sweet tea you may even get an opportunity for a cleaning service. I just feel like the lack of interest in their look just makes them a target for judgement and ridicule. Great job to my fellow Bull and classmate Traci. Ain't nothing like a Miami ass whoopin.

I'm glad you touched on the cleanliness of YCDT studio...I was looking at DD studio like damn clean up. Clear difference on work ethic. I also think DD needs some toning up to look more put together. Cuz when you compare the two groups you can see a distinct difference in whose more professional.
I think their wake up call happened the first time Misha (captain of ycdt) did that death drop, at that point the DD should have hit the gym, studied dancing techniques, fixed their weaves, hired a new choreographer, and bought new outfits. The DD are poor losers, they simply are not always the best team creatively, technology, or aesthetically (in my opinion) but instead of being good sports about it they get their "feelings hurt" and have attitudes. (RITTANY)
***** That's my biggest problem with Dolls...instead of upgrading themselves to get on a higher level, they complain and make excuses on why they lost. Dianna let them walk outside with bonnets and head scarfs on, which I find very tacky and ghetto, and they hair still look like they got it done for Christmas!

The reason Traci is super serious is because she's a trained professional dancer. Tina was hating hard, How is she going to say it's about the kids but then last season they wanted to hop their big butts out on the floor every other week. Bye girl don't hate the shape. Ms. D needs to cut it out with the black ass comments and comparing her to Grace Jones like it's something negative, Grace Jones is one of the most beautiful women to have ever walked this planet and you will deal. I love DD but those girls got to get in shape. They've got to make working out regularly apart of their schedules. They are very talented & beautiful girls but they've got to step their game up.
The only girls that are in shape are Christianna, Sunjai and few of the other girls, but a lot of them really should be in shape, especially captain Kayla. She should lead by example.
Traci needs her own show. She's got that it factor. From the first Bring it she was on. I like her. Her team is great.

I was sort of shocked when Dianna told her girls to "Shut the fuck up" as they were getting ready for the Creative dance. LIke, really? I didn't like when she said "Here comes Traci's black ass!" I kind of cringed when she said that. I also didn't like how Dianna tried to blame the girls for that horrible performance. She knew good and well that it wasn't at perfection before the competition. Some of those speeches that she gives would have more effect, if she would've told it to the girls while they were on a winning streak.

In my opinion, the episode was very boring. The dolls were just awful. Miami didn't need to have props but they still whooped the dolls. My thing is, Dianna thinks her team can beat anybody, you're not gonna win all the time, just like Miami, there not gonna win all the time. In all, the episode was just the usual, last week episode was better if u asked me. The energy wasn't here this episode

I loved this episode!!!! I actually get some satisfaction from when YCDT beat DD!! Because they are actual competition & you can tell Diana didn't know what to do with some real competition!! She had to go pull out all the stops & still didn't produce! & I agree with Traci having her team more organized & neat, & I can tell she's grooming those young women for success!!!! As far as Bitter Tina & Messy MiMi & Brittany I mean Rittany, they all need to go sit it down!!! That was Tina that said its about the kids when Traci was dancing not Tawanza. But they didn't have anything to say when Dianna was doing it. Traci may be cocky but she getting her kids ready for the real world. Kids getting full scholarships, I don't see Dianna saying nothing like that but they sure use these kids to host camps and collect coins. This Bring It! show is not gonna last forever. It's sad but the mamas and Dianna are using this kids to make money.
Disclaimer...I am a FAN of the dancing dolls. I have traveled to support them in competition with my niece on many occasions so there is no hate here. I was surprised when I found out that the dancing dolls have some of the WORST attitudes around. My niece asked Kayla to take a quick pic and Kayla turned her nose up and walked passed her with her mom Tina who just laughed. The only ones that are friendly is Selena, Sunjai, Camyrn's dad and JJ. The girls were at McDonalds last year in Alabama and this girl started to dance for them and said she wanted to be a dancing doll. (you could tell she was a little slow) the girls started laughing and was like you cant dance with us. After that, my niece was done traveling with me. lol I think the show has changed them especially Dianna who needs to humble herself. If you remember Dianna bending over in front of Neva's girl (check the episode) as if to say she is shitting on them. I was there and Dianna caused most of that drama by talking noise on the sidelines. But the camera editing told a different story. Dianna is always talking noise on the sidelines where her girls are getting spanked then gets in front of the cameras and say she is "defending her girls" Child please, the people in the stands know the real deal. Dianna is intimidated by Traci because Traci is on a dance level that Dianna is not on. So rather than congratulate her, she throws shade. Traci has the right to throw shade because Dianna got a man to pretend he was tracy and was surprised when Traci flipped it on her. Dianna always dances with her girls when they travel to events. (like the Essence Festival) But when Traci dances wit her girls then there is a problem. huh? what? Dianna needs to stop cursing so much and calm down and teach her girls to always be humble to the fans because at the end of the day, we are the ones that support the show and support the competitions.
Girl you speak the truth!! The same thing happen at one of their meet and greet, tour what ever they call it. Some of the moms and their kids be having some nasty attitude, especially that Kayla kid. She needs to humble herself a bit. I understand sometimes it's hard to keep a smile on when you're tired and exhausted, but people pay money to see and support you. The rightful thing to do is smile and take pictures with them. JJ, Selena, Sunjai and Mimi took their time to take pictures with the fans. Out of all of the kids Sunjai is the most humble. You can tell she's tired after all the dancing and stuff, but still put a smile on and willing to take pictures with the fans who ask for a picture. And yes, Dianna really is intimidated by Traci.
I've seen some of the same encounters with DD. Another user swore I was lying.
Syrai DaTruth I won't pretend to know about off camera stuff ( the girls, parents, and Dianna's attitudes), because I truly don't, but from the commentary when Traci was dancing it seemed like Dianna was giving her, her props. Of course I could be wrong.

YCDT did that and they deserved to sweep the competition. I knew they were going to win just based on the fact that they added live percussion. Their routine was well thought out and choreographed. Honestly Ms. D sometimes throws so much into a routine it complicates it. She knew they didn't have it in practice and she shouldn't have pulled it, but then she decided to blame the girls when it was more so her fault. Also I find it funny people are not noticing that DD borrows a lot of ideas from other teams but will be quick to call out a team if they borrow something form the dolls. I get tired of people saying Traci need to battle teams like Abby Lee you guys put down your own team. I don't see how Traci team is anything like Abby Lee girls but you guys seem to think that Abby Lee girls are better and better competition for Ycdt as to say Dancing Dolls dancing is subpar. No they don't go to a performing arts school and yes they are versatile but they still do majorette. Just because they do leg extensions doesn't mean they should compete with Abby. That's just the style of majorette dance Traci does. Which I see many college majorette teams does. Dancing dolls have done lyrical pieces so does that mean they should battle abby lee too??

I'm seriously trying to understand why ppl feel YCDT shouldn't be battling The Dancing Dolls? These kids all attend school in the inner city exactly 2blocks away from where the 1st 48 is filmed.. (not the best neighborhood) However that doesn't mean that talent can't come from there Traci has trained and disciplined her girls that's the only difference.. I commend her for showing her kids it's not about where u come from but where you're going.. Alot of those girls were born & raised in the hood but they can dance with the best of them... Stop making excuses!
First the girls go to perform schools, so traci didn't train them alone. Second you say the ycdt girls are from the hood and commend traci on helping them, yet Diana does the same thing and no recognition and Dianna not only takes in these girls but she takes some in a 15-16 years old with no backgroind in dance and teaches them. Honestly no matter who which team you like, no matter which coach is better, no matter who dances better, everybody needs to give credit where credit is due. Ycdt has excellent technique and are excellent jazz and lyrical dancers, but have child like facial expressions and when comes to hip-hop thay look off and kind of weird. On the other hand DD has good mostly "age appropriate" facial expressions and can dance very well in hip-hop, but there technique can use some work, they should fully do a move before moving on, because they are actually very flexible if they slow down and complete a move, and it wouldn't hurt to venture past just hip-hop. No team is perfect.
P.S. Not make excuses but the whole thing about traci being more creative when it comes to stand, in creative dance Dianna is Traci's bitch, is total bullshit, because if you watch the full stand battles of DD vs Ycdt, all three, the 2 times Ycdt won majority of their stands or at least the substance of their stand were "stolen" or mimics of the dancing dolls stands and "cheerleading" lifts, but when they lost none of their stand were mimics and only had one "cheerleading" stunt.
DeAndre Johnson Traci is their dance teacher at Miami Northwestern which a Public school not performing arts. So yes she did train them. Which also happens to be her alma mater too. Please check your facts before you stated information you heard on the show. Me and Traci grew up together she has been dancing since she was a child and has always been a beast at it. I too am a product of Miami Northwestern high school.

I'm honestly hoping the rumor windmill is correct that Traci is getting her own show and will hopefully pick teams to battle in FL, since their is continued commentary claiming that DD4L are not on their level.
This review was 100 and as a former dancer, I must say that I respect Tracy. Tracy gives her girls a real life perspective of the dance world. Example, when she said to one of her girls suck your stomach in, I can see what you ate the night before. In that arena, the teachers speak to you like that without a care for your feelings and any dancers out here know I'm telling the truth. I think it's cute for those who don't won't to dance professionally and are just in high school doing something whom are overweight. However, if you want to pursue dance (ballet, modern, jazz, nba, nfl cheerleaders) you have to give it to the kids straight. I remember long ago when I tried out for the J-settes, the coach told me, I don't adjust my suits to your body, you adjust to my suits. Happy for all the girls though.
I think the situation with Sunjai last season, Star, Sky and zatia are all contrived. Sunjai went from barely making cuts to always up in the front, Dianna and syleena said the twins were on the team for 2 years just not on the battle squad. So they went from in the background dancing to now getting cut and then Zatia was on the baby dolls but couldn't remember choreography then this episode she could? They just needed storylines and mama T and selena easier to target than the other mamas with their nasty attitudes.

Loved the review!!! I'm convinced the ddp are haters except Selena and momma T. The cameras probably didn't show the other parents cause they couldn't edit their rude ass faces and comments! Diana and Brittany be quick to come for JustinJ but I was very disgusted by their comments regarding Traci. I don't want to hear shit about the cameras editing skills...y'all be sincere with those comments. To be honest YCDT makes the show cause babbbbbbyyyy DD4L is overrated...the show doesn't even show a lot of the routines anymore it's more talking and I always fall asleep...Divas or Olive garden were good but y'all ran them off cause y'all do that to teams that come for y'all ass. Tina, sweetie I see all on Instagram how the team has a hair stylist WHY ON EARTH MUST U KEEP SITTING THAT TICKLE ME ELMO RED AS HAIR ON YOUR HEAD AND BE TALKING SHIT...SELENA I live you but is it me or EVERYTIME they show her her Bob changes..one minute it bounces..the next its shirt and ate up..then she has her hair blended with leave out ..then its in quick weave format...(faints) all y'all need to CLOCK OUT.

The Dancing Dolls are such poor losers, which kills me because they are a really good team. Being that the Dancing Dolls dance well and have accomplished alot and won many competitions, I would think that they would take this loss as a wake up call. I guess it was so emotional because they didn't win nothing not one damn trophy. They get so big headed and cocky that when they lose it hits them hard. They just need to do better as a team who is supposed to be one of the best.

That's the same thing I said.. Tracis is very very serious with her, she don't play. And that captain definitely don't play, don't talk, don't smile, don't laugh, just straight about her business the whole time and that's one thing I do like and I think the dancing dolls need to be more serious and make intimidating faces while dancing instead of looking tired and Kayla, Tamia and Cameron are the only ones "giving them face".
Despite what the dancing dolls might say, the teams tat they battle are definitely on her level and that's the point of a competition. Compete with people on your level or that's close to your level to really see who is the best. Traci's team is professionally trained.. they are so much more experienced and just far better dancers than DD. Lifetime were the ones who asked them on the show because I think they wanted to really give the dolls some real competition but they went too far. They should have got somebody who's the best in there city/state too but not professionals, that would be interesting to see because watching a professional team like YCDT , the dancing dolls are basically amateurs next to them so of course if not all the time then most of the time , YCDT is going to win. They planned that out wrong.

Diana needs a closet for her dancers -- other than that - you will find dancers dance bags/clothes etc, in a corner, that's not unusual. They are two different types of dance troupes, DD are competing all the time, with different groups -- Traci Troupe, don't do that and they performance is more geared to be a dance troupe that performs at different venues (colleges, theatre, etc. ) You can see the differences in the technical aspect of Traci's dance troupe. Before Bring it - I had never seen DD type of dancing -- but I have see dance troupes like traci's - good luck to all of them!

This is the first time Kayla looked defeated to me. I didn't see that fire that she usually has.
I absolutely love the YCDT's Jazz walk. It just commands attention and has so much presence. Their jazz walk basically set the tone for both performances.
Diana shouldn't be surprised she lost. She basically copied what Tracy did last year. Her secret weapon was a boy poorly outfitted hitting back flips down a soul train line. Where's the technicality/intricate moves? She even had the baby dolls dressed in tutus like the YCDT.
I didn't enjoy this episode at all. The music is really killing it for me. It just makes no sense and really I don't understand why we can't see the entire performances, it's not like 20 teams compete! Shit there's only about 20 damn people in the stands watching this shit! They even tried to cover up the damn African drum players. That's their own material that they played, but I guess just because you show up to play ya own shit still doesn't count!
There's so much that we don't see that's why I'm done with lifetime. Their execution is really poor!

I love DD but IMO Diana doesn't have the creativity level to move Dancing Dolls past their current level. Tracy from Miami has that creativity. The straight jacket theme could have been a killer performance. However im not confident Diana could take the performance where it needed to go to beat Miami. Diana doesn't push her team to perfect each move. I love the Dancing Dolls but sometimes they're sloppy and Diana allows it. If Star and Sky have been dancing under Diana for 2 years..they should NOT be as "boring" as they are. Just my opinion.

People say ycdt shouldn't battle the dancing dolls when the dancing dolls lose. When they (dd) win everybody screaming DD4L...I think it's fine that they battle each other. It's just obvious that one team is technically trained and the other isn't really (for lack of better words). They are both good in their own right. Let them battle who they want. A win is a win and a loss is a loss. Everybody can't have the same style and every teacher can't have the same type of training either. It is what it is....we all like both teams and when they're are two or more comparisons will be made. That's all.
yea, Miss.D isnt technically/professionally trained whatsoever in any aspect of life. Her girls deserve better, they should go over to shanika, Shanika is professionally trained in majorette,hip hop, AND lyrical. my opinion.
Please get the DD4L in a gym and working on stamina and toning. They are great dancers but they need to take up to the next level.

Other than getting exposure for her dance company, Traci doesn't need to do Bring it, her troupe's dancing is too technical for any of the competing groups - However, there dance companies out there with similiar dance training who certainly can give Traci's company some real competition! I am sure she knows this, even on TV there's Dance Mom's. and So you think you can dance etc. Where the competition technical level is much higher! Maybe that's the next step? I wish her well!
