@Littlekely Naya has been singing a lot more since the second half of season two. I doubt a new writer who arrived at the beginning of season three has anything to do with that. Ian even said that they just discovered Naya's amazing voice last season. And if you look at the list of the songs that had sold more this season she is almost always heavily featured!
@Littlekely i really doubt it cuz just cuz lea michelle has a solo in every episode, doesnt mean that she is dating the writer... plus naya seems like a wayy different person from santana anyways im glad they are showing more of santana, she has an amzing voice :) i just hope they show more of brittany and mike though ;) o and tina
