I feel a good lore story could be, Agumon & Gabumon were saved from an Evil Digimon by Siriusmon. They were so impressed and enamored by Siriusmon's character it inspired them to become stronger and bring peace to the Digital World. After an intense battle the two Digimon had become WarGreymon & MetalGarurumon, but still couldn't defeat their enemy. At the brink of death they were reminded about the day a Heroic White Armor cladded Digimon saved their lives and inspired them to protect the world. That memory and emotion to keep fighting for all the Digimon in the Digital World gave birth to Omegamon.
I prefer this one: Gammamon is the reincarnation of the egg of ogudomon in Chronicles X, but Jesmon decided that a human need to take care of the egg. Siriusmon is the light and Gulusgammamon (and evolutions) is the darkness of the seven great demon lords (especially Lucemon).
@@hjt8819 A bit of a problem with that one is that Siriusmon/Arcturusmon/Gammamon's evos should naturally possess the X-antibody, like Alphamon. I'll like to think about this one: Gammamon was a common, but with a lot of hidden potential, digimon till some madman (human, digimon, or some sketchy group) started messing with it by using a lot of black digitron. Originally, gammamon had so much power its adult form was theorized to be in par with perfect digimon, but they wanted to uncover its power at the limit, and one way was getting the "Black" version the digitron gives. At start no progress happened, because the black digitron only acts temporarily, so the tester/testers became desperate and ended overusing it. Gammamon went insane and evolved into Gulusgammamon, becoming able to release a potential far surpassing what they ever wished for, but with the disadvantage of being totally uncontrollable. Also, he got infected with the GRB, a new type of infection never ever seen before, added to the fact it was already a virus type. The tester/testers realized the theorized "adult" form got overwritten and corrupted, so every time gammamon were to evolve the end result would be Gulus instead. Trying to fix the mess as fast as possible, they thought of giving gammamon a chance to evolve naturally. For that they made a "patch" so it could be able to evolve into three different adult digimon, sharing each one a fraction of the full potential of the theorized adult, and eliminating the risks of the virus type. If a greater evolution were to happen, each form was able to temporarily retrieve the original full potential. The tester/testers then ran away and disappeared before getting killed by Gulusgammamon. Gulus went on a rampage and put in danger the DW, but then realized it was necessary to have a human partner to become more powerful, which could be the key to defeat certain entities. Then, before depleting all its energy, it decided to return to its previous form and conceal its power for the time being. Gulusgammamon became sort of some celebrity between certain digimon which decided to be its followers, but knowing the risks of GRB, used black digitron on themselves in order to be protected. PD: yeah, though the abuse of black digitron caused the GRB in my theory, digimon who use it successfully can be protected from it.
