Yes ladies & gents that's 14 year old Max Dowman vs 18 year old Lewis-Skelly (Edit 3:04) training in Dubai with Arsenals 1st Team.
Quite crazy how good the Hale End graduates are progressing since Jack Wilshere & Per Mertesacker took charge of the academy.
Just for reference just in the last 6-7 years we have seen the likes of Saka, ESR, Wilock, Nelson, Nketiah, Nwaneri, Lewis-Skelly & now Dowman come from the academy.
If only we put so much effort & care in our transfer windows & recruitment we might be closer to the top of the league & still in one of the cups.
I also wish arsenal to buy more wonderkids for the future

@ I thought he played well at left back but looks like we have a lot of options on that side. I havent seen the hunger he showed in his first season. Take nothing away he is a very good player. Just need to see more from him
@@nicholaszulu7857 he's had some decent games, he's incredible carrying the ball forward, probably one of the most technically gifted defenders itw right now, cause he can dribble, not just get past people sprinting. Behind Saliba and Gabriel, for me, untouchable. Wouldn't sell him for less than 80M. Just the fact that he can play in all 4 defensive positions at top level is mad. Would be the same with Tomi but he's made of glass.

Arsenal fans have lost their belief in this team, but I still believe. They showed us how they've mentally grown over the past 2 seasons. We've had a lot of misfortune with injuries this season and a few controversial calls go against us which cost us 6-7pts. Hopefully this trip resets our players mentally and physically. Tip for a drill: Get some rugby contact shields and get the players to try and dribble while people are pushing them with the contact shields. These players are not used to contact, they seem scared at times. Only a few are able to keep he ball while under pressure, Odegaard especially needs this drill he seems hurried when players get physical.
Just watch Barca starting Pedri, Gavi and Casado as a midfield three, you don't need to be built like megaton to know how to use your body to keep the ball. You just need to be used to the contact and know how to maneuver so it not anxious when it happens in game.
