Bird videos are underrated should at least be at 200k with all the history and gems he dropped
"I'll be 75 in 79 days"
this mans mind is highly unusual, extreme intelligence. I have a uncle like this, people with IQ's like them are living in a different reality. Keeping track of and thinking about things normal people have no clue about.
This is outstanding man!! Bird went into detail and his mind is very sharp!!
PeBee FanSpeak Battle Rap it’s crazy how sharp his mind is. Dates days and details. He even remembers prices of things back in the day. I pray my mind is half as sharp as his is if I’m blessed to live as long as him.
Brandon O. and addresses.
Brandon O. Real Talk!! When he spoke of Century drive in, It took me back... I lived across street from the infamous Aku Aku apartments on 102nd and Doty... This was early 80s... Bird was all over LA!!
Kev Mac Videos Yes! I forgot about all them locations he was recalling with ease and no hesitation. It’s remarkable shit to me.

You notice the difference in interviews between the older guys and the younger ones? The brothers in their 60s and older speak much better than the ones in their 20s-50s most of them.
I watch these videos more than once ! Its 257 am on the ES of LBC & Im soaking up this history .

I'm a gambler, there's this old man I know from the casino who used to be a "Businessman" they fought the Slausons,he told me one night at a Jefferson H.S. Football Game Bird got out the car and yelled "Slausons Bigger Than Shit" he said several guys rushed Bird, stabbed him up,when the paramedics were taking him away on the stretcher,he threw up the Slausons Sign✌✌✌,Lmao😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💯
jacques aldredge imma have to ask Bird about that, It sounds like the Story of when he got shot outside of a theater.
He threw up the Slauson V as they carried him away.
Co -sign that . My cousin told me that same story when i was a kid in the early 70's. ✌
jacques aldredge do you the street name of the Businessman you know?

This man is the real thing knows who he is where he came from
K.Ghost Luciano He is!

Dope interview! Learned some awesome L.A. history from this interview.
Bird is very sharp for his age, good interview KM..
Kev ignore those comments that don't amount to nothing..keep up the hustling.. Thumbs
The fact that his Father died when was 56, and his mother died when he was 69 is amazing. This is what you call living a full productive life, this how it's suppose be. Not us dying and getting killed in our 20's and 30's. I hope Mr.Bird can read these amazing comments people are leaving about his interview, cause this is what a brother like me strives for a long fully productive life.
Great Work. Brothers memory is too sharp.
all those theaters in south central back in those days... wasn't all fast food, churches, and mexican stores. i imagine all those places gradually disappeared btwn '65 and '92 riots. a damn shame
A lot of History is right here keep it coming Kev Mac
Yeah, definitely longer session with this gentleman. Salute
I fuck with history man. When I was younger. My neighbor from across the street this old ass black man named Mitchell. Used to sit in his truck sippin. Always drank two 211s and a shot of E&J. I'll go post up with him outside his truck and I'll soak up all the game and history I could.
Kev Mac, have you ever thought about researching the history of Kelly Park Compton Crips?
All the way from DC.We don't do the gang thing but got luv for the culture Salute KevMac

My family roots originated from East Texas as well (Upshur Co). Some folks moved west to San Diego and LA. Some stoped in NM
They from gilmer or east mountain
Preserving the history. This going to be another excellent series.
Kev Mac needs to take this to another level and make a movie about all of these interviews.
I have the same story as far as the travel. Moms from Texas pops from Mississippi (moved to LB in 61) and met at a house party in the late 60s. We used to hop in the van and travel to the south and Midwest while I was young. I’ve been in ATL for 13 years now. Still love LA!

Those were the good days
Hell ya them bomb ass hotdogs and nachos! 1984
Does anybody remember The Baldwin Hills theater..?
L Ragg
Yeah i was impressed also about that...but we have to remember back in his days there was still a lot of white folks in the area so it woul make sence our part of town had more to do and i bet a hell of a lot nicer...i have an uncle who was around in these days and he tells me LA was real nice back in the day...black and Brown couldnt necessarily go everywhere but you could get away with it everynow and then without getting hassled...
Maaaan, This dude a WEALTH of KNOWLEDGE....
Man he look good for his age. Never would think he in his 70's.
BIG BIRD ...OGZ .....KEV MAC!!!

When someone asks me which theaters I went to, I say the one down the street. He named about 30 and didn't need to break of out a phone book.
In 1972 i played jacks with some little girls on the street. Yeah thats normal to be able to remember that.
