Thank you for posting this series of Christmas videos of a family that span over 20 years. I am amazed at the collection of David Forgie. I have watched and enjoyed most of them from this past December until now - but continue to look for more. I have enjoyed watching the characters start out as little kids then become adults. Looks like a wonderful close family and from the many films I have seen ....it's almost like I have come to know them personally. I'd love to know how all were related - I can only guess who was mom & dad - and kids and possibly grandkids in the later films. Looks like Harriet got married and more kids came. There are some other relatives that show up later, and trying to figure out who they were. And all the COOL retro toys and gifts!! Also wondering how many in that clan are still with us today. So I'm trying to figure out who's who, but difficult with only movies. I can't get over the size of the Christmas trees the family had in the 40s, 50s, & 60s - huge and beautiful - with classic lights and old lead tinsel. Wish I was there and a part of that joy! I love historical films of real life people and families!! Many thanks again. BTW, which one of you in the films is responsible for these films coming to UA-cam?
My grandfather David ferron 40 passed in 1992 at the age of 92 and his wife my grandmother passed in 2002 also at the age of 92.. my father Walter passed in 2015 at the age of 84 ... Harriet her sister Michelle and Paul are all in their 80s still doing well and even driving! ... All of their children are alive and well have gotten married and have kids and grandkids of their own!.. if you are looking for me my name is Christopher and I was the nine month old baby in the 1962 Christmas movie!
You? Know what it's so nice about looking at the old Christmas from the 5060s. Even the early seventies are the. The big old lights the ice circles? And some of the ornaments everything was shiny and you truly wasn't always perfect but always big and looking at the old furniture in the curtains I. Really. Enjoy it thank you.
Grandma grandpa and my father have passed however my mother her sister and brother are in their 80s... Doing well and still driving! There are now grandchildren and great-grandchildren
I would be happy to talk to you about archiving your family films.... You can visit my website Archive16.com. Or feel free to call me at 239-299-8500 much better quality in both captures and file quality for long time preservation of your family memories... But I would not wait too long because as these films start to decay the process accelerates and they may be lost forever.

@@Archive16 I looked up the address on Google Maps street view....does the Family still own it?
great cinematography. Must have been good at lighting. .
It was three very bright flood lights on a single bar that would be on a light stand.. and they were hot!
Wish I could remember the Fifties.
Is the stuffed animal a relative of Huckleberry Hound? That other toy must be an airplane cockpit!
I looked up the address on Google Maps street view....its still there
I was 27 days old!
plaid vest, bow tie, shorts, and cowboy boots because the 50's....
Amazing window on the past. I have about 10K feet of 16mm home movies. It’s sadly beginning to decay. No good remedy.
The person who posted these can help with archiving them if you're interested. Go to his main page. Click "About" for his links.
@@bigal1682 Thanks for the suggestion! Will follow that up!

did Paul have a big family ?
4 kids
Hopefully Paul didn't wind up a casualty in Vietnam... Looks like an upper-middle class White family, so probably not.
Never went to vietnam.. he is still around alive oh well and even still driving
Times were tough but my grandfather always worked two jobs to save enough money to do a yearly Christmas movie
How is your mother doing after your brother's death?
It is hard for all of us 😭
@@Archive16 I'm so sorry to hear of your brother's passing. This is never easy.
