So yeah tell those haters there's more than one type of rose out there. lol

I think your roses look just fine, very pretty. Who says Wilton is the be all, end all of roses. I do use a rose/flower nail, though there are some that say if you don't make them on a skewer they aren't professional. Pissht!

I do not like buttercream so much. Is there a way to soften the buttercream taste with jam that would add taste and color to it? Can I use extracts or home made food coloring and still make the flowers or use Russian tips? Is there a way to make firm whipped cream and use it for the flower decorations?

Gretchen...can I make my SMBC flowers in advance and freeze them? Will they “sweat” or lose their shape when they thaw? I will be using ranunculus and English roses. Thanks!
just checking if it will hold its shape after tsking it out of the freezer as we stay in a hot climate area. what should we do to make it hold its shape.
