We have the cookology portable dishwasher which isn't as fancy looking as the Bob, doesn't have a glass screen and bulky, but is about 10cm wider in size and it's £130 less to buy. The dishwasher is ideal for two people, renting or those who do not wish to plumb in an appliance. We often have it on twice a day on a 58 minute wash, can also clean saucepans at an angle and glasses come out exceptionally clean and dry. Would recommend for those looking for a portable dishwasher and hate handwashing. We have a wall mounted dishrack for occasional items such as vases which would not fit in the dishwasher, but other than that the dishwasher is perfect for our needs and saves so much time and water! There's a similar one by the brand Comfee but it is £70 more and only difference I can see is that it has a glass screen and a few extra accessories (baby bottle holder, drip tray) but other than that the dimensions and internals, functions are like for like.
Great review! My only gripe as with other reviews that bring up the same point: as someone who lives alone I definetely crave a dishwasher, even that small. Who REALLY wants to do dishes every time they ate something to not have them standing around? Even if you don't start it up, the dirty dishes are out of the way in there and when there's enough piled up, start it up. Also according to another review it's much more efficient than doing dishes by hand (like with fat in frying pans, if they fit 😅) and the thing uses less water than a filled sink. I'm looking forward to getting mine i recently ordered, if only it didn't take 8-10 weeks to arrive (I'm in Germany) 🙄
All the reasons to buy it lol
Und, bist happy damit?
¿Estás contento con el?
This Would be a great portable dishwasher. I think I’ll get one for all my holidays as this is super suited for being portable ,
Definitely
I’ve had one of these for a couple months now!
I absolutely love it, the only gripes I have is that the detergent daan tech sell I find is great for the first 2 washes and then just doesn’t do the best job - this would be fine if there was a good solution for using any other detergent but it’s a bit janky just putting it in at the beginning and you end with watermarks. The rest of my gripes are very minor.
Just a heads up on your point about filling it and having to be slow with it - if you fill it with the door open you can fill it much faster and with a looot less risk of spilling. I assume when the door is closed there is some kind of vacuum so the air you are displacing with the water can only exit via the inlet, whereas with the door open it can exit elsewhere meaning there is no air working against the water coming in
Thank you
Are they heavy Peter ? as we want one for our caravan so the weight is important to us.
You can buy a hose that you can connect to the tap and fill up the water that way. Also it can use dishwashers normal tablets.
Man, I love that you moved into dishwasher reviews! You is the absolute best at it 👍🏼. The other tech UA-camrs will be jealously hating. Marques, Lou, Krystal are coming for you. Keep safe cousin.
haha thanks, here I review all consumer tech and gadgets so don't worry, there's more random things to come.
@@GadgetsBoy it’s all good, I’m just teasing! And a subscriber.
😆
Nice! I think you could review anything. You have an authentic style that so many UA-camrs are missing.
Thank you sir
@@GadgetsBoy great review could you review your washing machine
Go on reviewing all kinds of gadgets! Most of the others reviewers only care about phones or watches, but you're GadgetsBoy, after all
🙏🏾 thank you
I fell in love with it when I saw it at CES 2019. I wonder if they'll ever make a full size version with the same style and design.
That would be awesome and a fridge to match
Lots of valid points raised. I like the idea as I don't have the space for a conventional appliance. But as you've said it's the price if not exceeds the cost of a full-size dishwasher. I kind of wish they tried to aim for the £199 price point.
Agreed. £199 would make it a steal for the money
You're right about the price. Just had a look online and saw a full size Kenwood dishwasher for £249.
What kind of detergent does it use or is it tables??

it's really cute
Really is
Didn’t even know such a product existed
This is why I’m here to show you the way 😄
@@GadgetsBoy yea I definitely need me one for sure
kinda cute!
👌🏾👌🏾
Dude it's a French brand😂😂 how did you even miss that 🤣 the french are gonna come for you now!
Look out with ordering on their webshop because i paid 50.- euro for the UV option but it is not on the machine but they said i didn't order it , but why should i pay 50.- euro extra on the webshop?!?!?! And their people are incapable to understand how their own webshop works
have they been able to solve this in the time since you wrote this comment?
@@FranciscaPires no they ignore me, but send me a lot of ads of there new stuff 😅😅 making me pissed every single time
I'm about to pay 600 pounds for this... thanks for the review.
What is the cassette? 🤷♂️
It's a french brand :)
Gotcha haha ... it looks so scandi
I gotta have this machine
Do it
People make reviews and don't really provide important things meaning they don't test things properly. This BOB thing can't be touch to open while stopped during a washing cycle whenever You want to add anything to inside.... You have to pull the door manually, and as the dishwasher is quite light, it moves all around at the table. It's so annoying and stupid. Owner's manual says touch to open wouldn't work when You unplug the power however this is not the full information they should provide! Client is misled.
It is a French brand and this dishwasher is made in France.
Yeah someone said . Thanks
Is it heavy ? to use in a caravan ?
Erm, it's light but I don't have a caravan to confirm sorry
About 10kg
Not a fan of the cassette thingy unless you can fill it with your own detergent.
You can
Not the casset but you can get tablets
Look up Bob Cassette Rewinder
Think of an old inkjet printer where the ink cartridge was only good for so many prints and then you couldn't refill it because it was proprietary. This guy actually made a little computer chip that you plug into the cartridge that resets it so you can refill it with your own detergent. There's a whole community of people online that modify and can help you find the right concentrated detergent in your world region. I did a lot of research before putting my pre-order in in the United States. I'm ordering the Bob cassette rewinder now and I'm shopping for the best detergent to refill my cassettes. I also bought a Bob for my parents and they have a drain field out in the country that we don't want to damage with sulfites or harsh bleaching chemicals and I will just refill their cassettes with the detergent I buy.
No usefull info that you can't read off the website. No comments on the performance.. meh
Thanks for stopping by.
Don't buy faulty product with numerous issues and awful customer service
