I used to work on Tugboats in New York from 1988 to 1995 . I worked for Turecamo, Moran and Spenton/Bush Red Star. I was there when the Elizabeth Moran was hit by a Ship in the fog and it sunk in the Harbor. We help rescue the Men out the water. I saw a guy fall off the dock @ Standard Tank in New Jersey, his body was found 5 days later near the Exxon dock. I used to work on a Tugboat called Thomas Hebert and it sunk off the New Jersey coast , I was supposed to be on there when it sunk, I quit 5 weeks before it went down. I have so many more stories about my time working on Tugboats. Now I own a Outdoor Power Equipment dealership in the New Orleans area. Those was some of the best and worst times of my life working on those Tugs. R.I.P to all those who never made it back home.

I like the old tugboats. Especially when they are adorned with an small statue of an eagle
