The point of massed attack doctrine is to make sure you can mass produce tanks, it generally isn’t very good for infantry
Generally in my opinion, winter is the most important biome to be aware of followed by arid and jungle doesn’t make much of a difference
It depends what country you are playing, if you are playing vietnam you should do jungle specialisation to expand faster

mass attack is so OP in late game, the thing is that if you have a good enough general then it balances out and even buffs your troops past the mass attack, and with research and invasions your basically looking at 200% trained troops, when in reality its only about -25%

A few things:
I personally disagree with the massed attack tip, I only use massed attack if I have 1K+ military power. I accumulate MP with massed attack and switch to specialisation to actually create them to reap the main advantages of both doctrines.
I’d also add that in times of economic deficit or political power deficit research should be the first thing to be axed since it doesn’t have a material impact on your stability beyond a slower rate of research but can chew up fuck tons of money. This can help with situations where stability becomes strained and you might wanna minimise taxes and maximise regular spending.
Also for the democracy you don’t need to be peaceful you just can’t be an offensive player (playing style, not slurs or shit). I often play as japan and just take the koreas then grow the shit out of my economy. I then proceed to fund the weaker side in all the wars in the game thereby weakening the stronger powers of the server and giving myself the advantage of less rivals who are weaker and preoccupied. I’d say you should have recommended nationalism as it’s the best one for players who are more basic and lack a playing style since it only provides benefits.
Communism is better for those who know how to actually harness the industrial benefits it provides and to a degree relies on good usage of policies such as forced labour for dissidents. Remember when making tips you either want to teach players certain playing styles or how to be decent or successful in spite of an absence thereof, I’d say that’s my main criticism.
For XP grinding:
In alive servers I would recommend São Tomé and Príncipe, it is close to nations of a perfect size to invade and grow from but gives the highest XP benefit of 2.5x. For dead servers if Spain is collapsed I recommend Andorra because of the Spanish releasable of Aragon and Valencia making it easier to grow.
Still like the video there are some no-brainers that too many people forget that I liked that you included.
All this seems good mostly however getting in uncontrolled political deficit can often be easily avoided and you shouldn’t start axing spendings because of deficit, deficit can be bad but it’s not the end of the world if it’s only a few mil which can be easily fixed with some consumers or electronics or just annexing a few small countries. Other than that the rest is solid advice for new and intermediate players

@@Redstoner34526 The Massed Attack Doctrine is actually meant for Tanks, not infantry. That's why Infantry get's nerfed so incredibly hard.
@@Redstoner34526well of course I was referring to more when deficit implies impending debt which can have larger consequences. Deficit alone is fine yea XD.

Democracy isn't neccessary a bad choice (although I wouldn't recommend if you have a very aggressive playstyle) but the rest of the tips were very helpful.
The bonus tips were the most helpful
good at mid game and very GOOD at end game
Democracy is a good ideology in the late game once you've gottten all the land a population you need

Woah I was Like trying to find some good 2023 ron video but this is a good one
for the mass attack tip, i would like to mention that the debuff for having it only works on troops meaning u can have tanks, aircraft, and navy all unaffected by the debuff and only gain manpower
I usualy only use tanks with mass attack, but if I don't have how to use them, i just don't go for it

Even as a large nation I turn on mass attack, then I make Groups with Generals in them and train them before use, then as they battle on they become even stronger and allows for faster troop replacements

Capital fleet doctrine beats escort fleet doctrine, you can produce more battleships with less down side
I get your point but the fact is that it will still taking alot of time to produce battleships in the time you make one with that doctrine he has already made 3 other destroyers

I would like to see a tutorial about how to set up your country. I see youtubers like connectrn get a micro nation a good economy and military a few months into the game
One thing I don't get to understand is.. how do you defend yourself against a player that attacks you while you don't expect it? Thus not having any troops entrenched.

Few hours ago,usa attack me,i only have like 1m infantry and 600 artillery and he(usa)have 6m+infantry and a few hundreds artillery,i was able to defends against usa but what crazy is the casualties.It was 1m below losses for me(mexico) and 7MILLION LOSSES(usa)and he also left
to counter destroyers I sometimes use Arty if they are close to the coast
I recommend if u play as a European nation u colonise Africa staring from sierra lirreone to southern-western Africa

for me literally all of my troops are so weak. I was ivory coast trying to conquer liberia (ai) and Imy 50k troops died to their 20k troops and they only lost 1k troops. I trained them in the correct biome, but it still didnt work. What went wrong?

I go with the manpower strategy I get limited plus military service act mass attack get better stability and build recruitment centres everywhere and boom now u got 10k-20k manpower or 60k-70k power boom ur unstoppable (limited is so broken 💀) don’t forget communism and socialism for better manpower
democracy can be good if used well ESPECIALLY with brazil and japan (my experience with brazil says it to me)
First of all have in mind that the tech is the most important thing. That can make your powerful nation nothing and a nothing nation powerful.
I usually alway go for democracy unless I'm playing in Europe.

depends on the player, some wants to conquer the world, some wants to help others, some wants to just play for fun

2019 December 9th, marks the day I joined Rise of Nations (Okay maybe not december 9th but you get the just of it)
An idiot, me, not knowing wtf factories were or how to make tanks, so anyone who had tanks just kinda blitzkrieged me, steamrolled basically, I didn’t know about fortifications either, keep in mind I was playing either of the following:
Poland
Anhui
NK
SK
The reason I chose the following is because I thought ‘Im not good or smart enough in this game therefore dont deserve to play the big nations’ which ruined my experience in the game a lot, ending with me quitting until 2021.
2021-2022
probably the best year for me in Rise Of Nations, because I didn’t get to face any tryhards in Europe due to me mostly goin in NA or Asia. The players were usually kind, I still didn’t learn about tanks, factories, just pure infantry spam
2023-Present
It wasn’t until a kind fellow told me how to properly make factories work that I became a moderate-decent player, I finally felt deserving enough to play as Russia, China, USA, or just any European nation in general, now that I stood a chance that is, I finally get to make Server World Wars interesting, participating and defending/attacking nations without being defeated by a simple line of tanks.
For everybody the best grinding xp country is Bhutan cause it gives you 2.5x xp
