I think she is just seeking attention of Mamoru, I mean he does have dashing looks, and a child loving their parents is relatable to some point. And the "Chibiusa loves mamoru" part is also more played for joeks & giggles after season 2.

If Chibiusa is about 5 years old, I think it's normal for kids at that age to have Oedipus/Electra Complex and have a certain possessiveness for the parent of the opposite sex. Not all kids go through this depending on circumstances. But when they do, they will normally set standards for future partners that reflect that of their parent. Girls tend to like guys who are somewhat like their dad, and boys liking girls that are similar to mom. So yeah. Chibiusa seems perfectly normal, just a tad exaggerated for comedic effect.

no, chibiusa is the daughter of the future of serena / usagi in the 30th century ..... she has chibiusa when she turns 22 (remember that the earth freezes and serena revives her and the planet 1000 years later, that if maintaining the age in which I am frozen and then create the new kingdom of silver)

Emily Monaghan there's shy and then there's flat-out rude. he could have told her he's walking- he didn't. and it's not the first time he was rude and a jerk to her. Throughout the entire first season he's pretty much only a jerk.
I own this on VHS in the English Dub. But this is so much better. The only two things I like about the Dub anymore are 1. The Easier to say names. Because some Japanese names are hard to say. And 2 at least English song lyrics make sense. Not this random and non-cohesive flow that the Japanese use. So that about all I like. The music itself is good, just not the lyrics.
