Really looking forward to this Build! Could really be a life saver for the minder of the season. And Huge fan of your content and Great work as always! Can´t wait for a continue..*Thumbs up*
btw the longer lasting lightning storm is normal, it's doing the fully channeled skill each proc. You can see it as it expands outward each strike adds one bolt and expands outward.
This looks awesome. Always loved having everything spam with natures fury but never found an efficient build that I liked with it. Looks like I have to tell another Druid😁
This should not be considered “bugged”. This is exactly how I imagined it would work. If this were last epoch it would be intended to work this way. Now that it’s labeled bugged it’s no point in even attempting to make the build because devs will be inclined to fix it. Pushing 110 and calling it bugged is a bad look for theory crafters
It’s a bug because some of them are labeled lighting not storm and proc with storm nodes and passives, Easy fix would be to change them all to storm or lightning and storm. It’s just him giving you a heads up, it’s not working as described and could be changed in the future.
@@sumnersmash7485 natures fury cast a free storm skill, by casting landslide and proc’ing lightning storm (which is a storm skill that also cast lighting) wouldn’t all lightning affect be proc’d by the free cast? This one to me doesn’t seem like a bug. I’m not disagreeing with you maybe that may be the case I just hope it was intended to be this way. I like this build more than wind sheer honestly
@@sumnersmash7485 I am not sure if anything changed since season 0 (pre-season, whatever you want to call it) but almost all (if not all) Druid lightning procs had an invisible/internal storm label. If that's a bug it has to be the biggest oversight; but I wouldn't put it past Blizzard.
Cool to see this, been playing with the landslide ring a bit and was trying something similar but without Shako moved to a beastial rampage version of landslide/creeper and using shred.
funny, some days ago i found a season 3 guide on youtube with a trampleslide lightning storm build and asked some people if its still good in season 4 or probably sucks and if they could check when they have the time for it. ace was one of the people (dont know why) i didnt ask and he comes around with this video, haha. lets see where this goes, i swapped from trampleslide which i used for leveling and easier endgame stuff to wind daddy in the meantime, probably have to go back and burn some gold again to probably see them fixing the bug shortly after. xD
I'm playing this build since the beginning of the season. It's fun to find the synergies and possibilities to get Nature Fury as many times as possible. I think Cataclysm works better with good colddown reduction (it can activate petrify in addition). Rocky Bulwark gives a lot of survival. The "Yen's Blessing" boots can generate even more spam and more synergy. I think it would be nice to add Godslayer Crown, but I can't certify it yet. I'm a newbie playing 100+, but I think this experiment is promising :D "Optimizing this build has to be a nightmare": indeed it is like that...
I'm using a godslayer companion version with unsung and tibalts. Boss dmg is a bit off still, but it comfortably handles 70+ pits. Godslayer prevents the swarm and is just generally good.
i play since season 1 a lightling landslide build (or coming back to it cause for me its the most fun druid build)... however all lightning bolts or later the dancing bolts too, have the "storm" tag that is not a bug, they profit even from nature magic, crit/critdmg and %dmg ... that runeworker aspect dont scale with "storm" must be a oversight ;D but that new discovered interaction with earthbreaker is crazy ^^ gj
I started doing bassically this last night But i am using / trying the posion windsheer with the ring that explodes for the same AOE damage and in addition also using tornado tracks your target affix thing, to help on single target as they proc a lot + cast multiple chance its a miss mash at the moment but im getting there
At thirst I thought this build is cooked a bit too much and is unachievable without bis gear. But I still swapped to it and have alot of fun with it and have a few goals for additional gear. Thank you for testing this so much and i wait for the last few tweaks, that may yet to be discovered! Druids for life :D
I was looking to start in on this build. I am happy for people like you that have the ability to dedicate this time. One question, with wind sheer I getting low ticks for 4-8mil. while a lot of numbers are going off on this video I was trying to track it and it still feels much smaller per tick and over all time then wind sheer, the question is how is that over all damage compared to wind sheer?
So I tested various different things with this today for a while and here are some interesting finds. Natures fury will also make the lightning storms casts while wearing a tempest werewolf skills even though you are not actually shapeshifting when casting landslide, thus you can poison and use toxic claws and such with this build due to making the lightning storm a werewolf skill. However, it does not work with the shapshifting crits heal you on the spirit boon board which is odd that it works for one and not the other. With the new patch fixing boulder you can use a different style build where you make boulder a core skill, activate hurricane and cast lightning storm over and over, this causes natures fury to cast boulders that spin around you. This obviously required you have a dolmons stone equipped and the aspect to change boulder to a core skill. Also, I made another quick build today which uses overpowered pulverize to cast lightning storm with natures fury and that is cool as well. If you do that one specifically you must use the legendary aspect to change werewolf/werebear skills into storm/earth respectively.
Yeah, he says the original it was based on was the link and after looking at it it makes no sense at all. And it is the one he showed, i don't get how they are related, the one in the link is a companion build.
Not only is the build in the link the correct build, there are 4 variations of it, and the build in the video, if you watched it at all, "is not complete" to quote directly from the video itself.
That's what I was using from the start, was lucky to get both gauntlets and the ring, looks amazing but dmg still isn't enough to push higher pits if you prefer to play as pure human & without pets as I do.
I swapped out of a lightning build into the wind daddy build. I even had 2 of this ring but didn't try it out. I need to learn how to see these opportunities.
Nature's Fury is by far the coolest passive in the game and way cooler than a lot of unique items that should do crazy stuff. I'm trying to make something like this works since the first open beta and is the build that I played the campaign
Thank you very much for testing. I also played landslide and wasn't happy. looks better on you. I play hurricane and am back to hurricane even after landslide. you can run up to about 90 in the pit. but the bosses are getting too tough. There are no mob groups at all. Problem also with different rings etc. You would need something with which you can survive better against bosses and do more damage faster. my gear is just mediocre. I think the issue is that the first skill cast does not gain the benefit of thunderstruck and lightning aspects because it is an earth skill. The only one that benefits is the extra skill the casts from the key passive.
I am building this right now, love the leveling experience with it too. (I use vasily's prayer just for fun of playing a thunder-rock bear) I was actually wondering why I get so little procs of lightning storm in comparison to the build preview on mobalytics (I dont have earthbreaker yet).
this is what i played during ptr and season 4. im interested to see what you end up doing with it cause i didnt get very far in the pit with my version

I was testing this build a lot and trying different methods of scaling it but ultimately found the best way for me was ANDARIELS visage, compared to investing full core skills or using overload/dancer or trying to scale with % damage, andariels seemed to do the most and it could fit well with bane rune and high lucky hit chance.
