This is the best review on UA-cam, demonstrating the functionality of the zip out panniers. So thank you. I’ve had the Topeak rack for about four years, but used with a basket for our shopping trips on the tandem bike. But the basket is exposed and set high with a load and the panniers. Bring the weight distribution down when loaded up which is better for handling and safer. Thanks for the video.
Hi! Thank you so much for making this video! I own a 90s Specialized MTB and I'm planning on doing some bikepacking next summer and this bag cought my attention, sadly coudn't find any good review until I saw this one. Definitely going to buy it! Thanks for making the video and greetings from the Netherlands!
I bought a similar Topeka bag without the water bottle holder. The quality was excellent and I used it daily for commuting to carry my work clothes and laptop. Maybe, loaded it with 10-15 pounds. I doubt if the bag holds up with 40 pounds of weight off road. I've used it for a 3-day non supported trail ride and it was perfect for that trip. The center compartment on my bag did not have an extension component. I'm planning on another 3-day trip, so I might get this bag just for the extra space. I wish the bag was waterproof, but I use a trash bag to protect my stuff inside the panniers, because the optional water cover is ugly. Great review.
Just checked the internet, being sold under various names from $16 (from Temu)-$130. Only difference appears the Topeka bag has been modified to clip on the Topeka rack.
I cannot find info on what the actual dimensions of the panniers are. I'm all but sold on this bag but I need to know if my laptop is gonna fit before I seal the deal. Would it be a pain to ask if you could measure them? Also: That Cateye HL-EL220 was the best non-nickel-metal-hydride bike headlight ever made in my opinion. I have three of them and I'm sad they don't make them anymore.
I will measure and make a video of this. Some other people may want to know as well. I am guessing you will be padding the laptop with a special case or something. That is important. I would not place the laptop into the pannier bag loosely.

Увлечение велосипедом это 👍 отлично.
Спасибо за обзор.
Bought this bag. Then i had buyer's remorse: maybe the bag wouldn't suit my needs. But this review convinced me to keep the bag.

Glad it helped out. Have fun with the bike trips!
Got this for more than touring, works great for groceries as they hold way more than it looks.

Shame you didn't have a water bottle This deserves to go viral. Seriously though, cheers for the thorough review. I'm gonna order one tomorrow. 👍
Glad you liked it. I did remember my water bottle for the QR Beam Rack video with this bag: ua-cam.com/video/JbG8Rr00Iaw/v-deo.html

The tests have been fun. Glad you enjoyed it!

Good info, nicely demonstrated. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
Great review. Love the bag but will the rack fit on my 1980s road bike? 27” wheels.
Topeak website says it fits 26", 27.5"(650B), and 700C.
Best video review of this product
Thanks!

I have completed the new video upload which should help answer your question: ua-cam.com/video/PEFw2aJTrZ0/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
Great review
Thanks!
Why do all these rack bags have a water bottle holder that I'd barely trust a soda can in? Who has a 5 inch tall water bottle? Dumb.
This actually holds a normal size water bottle very well.
