Great adventure awaits! Exciting but scary too. Overwhelming for sure. My husband and I full time RV. Crafting supplies is tricky with such limited space. See-through bins are the greatest. We will all be following your huge adjustment.
Thank you for sharing! I won’t be doing most of my crafting in the RV, but I will still be doing some so I have to figure that out.
I am jealous, Kelly! I want to do that but my craft supplies are overflowing! I hit your video because I wanted to see your FOUR supplies that you would not part with but did not hear that…?
Omgosh. I meant that I am getting rid of everything except FOR my craft supplies. I never realized that interpretation until you said it.
That's what I thought too! 😂 I'm getting ready to go through the same process! It's a little overwhelming.
I've been thinking about selling my mobile home and moving into a small RV. I live alone and have accumulated quite a bit in the 30 plus years I've been here. I'm slowly getting rid of things but I get overwhelmed when I look into a couple of the rooms that have been used mostly for storage. This place doesn't have any storage. There's a small closet in each bedroom and a couple of cupboards in the kitchen. No pantry, no linen closet, no coat closet. The washer & dryer are in the hallway to my bedroom. I've had to use my craft room to store the vacuum and other cleaning supplies. I just gave away the major of my pots & pans. Good luck in your move. I hope you can find a place to do your crafts.
I am looking forward to everything being sorted! Well so I am back to just my daily sorting, since organizing never really ends!
Kelly,
I wish you calmness in the middle of all the ups and downs of your life changes.
❤🎉
I am receiving your calm wishes! 😊💗
thank you for the update. and good luck with everything!😊
Thank you so much!
Wow! Can’t even imagine! Good luck with everything!❤
Thank you!
Kelly!! So exciting. I. Wish you all the best!! ❤
Thank you!❤️❤️
wow!!! that's exactly what I am doing at present but Im in Australia. I wish you all the best with your huge downsizing. Exciting and scary at the same time lol. 🦘
Thanks for the update Kelly. Your situation reminds me folks who relocate to a tiny house and have to figure out what they can keep and what needs to go. This sounds all quite lovely, and taking one day at a time you'll in time get it all figured out.
Yes! Thank you!
Wow what an adventure! My Sister - in -law and brother in-law, are doing this! They sold every thing but the kitchen sink. They had a week long garage sale. The plan is to travel for a year and see where they want to plant themselves.
Oh wow!
WOW! Major life changes are moving fast for you! Take one thing at a time and you'll make this happen! Suggestion for 'remodel' of RV, Paint the outdated wood with a crisp clean white paint, this will brighten and update the look. Just be sure to prep surfaces as instructed based on the type of surface. Add accessories (like boho items) to brighten up the white but will not be overwhelming! I wish you good vibes during this life transitional period!
Thank you so much!!🥰
Understandably a lot to deal with. Slowly but surely it will unfold as it needs to. Prayers that all goes well in your new venture. The RV looks nice. Hugs to you ❤😊
Thank you so much!
Good luck. You are definitely making a life change. I couldn't imagine doing this myself.
I am definitely not a huge fan of the transition period!
I hope it will turn into a fun adventure for you!! Change is hard but if you can get creative with everything, it will make the process a lot easier xo
I’ll be happy when the super stressful part is over. ❤️
Exciting time but also stressful!
Yes! I just keep telling myself that the stressful part is only a few weeks!
Good luck with your new adventure! My husband, our 2 kids and I lived in our RV from 2017-20. We loved it but clutter builds up fast. That was one thing I always had a hard time keeping up with.
I will definitely have to work hard on avoiding the clutter!
Wow a big change and big changes obviously bring confusion, fears and hope. In short, everything goes well and you'll see. In short, you too will find your creative corner and we are here and I like reading you, even if you are American and I am Italian I like reading your stories etc., I also like your group, I like this freedom and I too am for Freedom for creativity. I wish you all the best it's a good start a great start.
I hope Google translated everything well for me.🤣🤣❤
Thank you for your kind thoughts and wishes, Daniella!
😁👍❤️
Best of luck Kelly! We lived in a 40’ 5th wheel full time for about 5 years and traveled a lot. If you have questions about the RV life let us know. We would be happy to help out. ❤
Michel, thank you! I will probably take you up on that!
You need to put up a she-shed inside/beside the barn for your crafts
It’s a possibility, but probably not this year. ❤️
Just a word of warning about she sheds in the Midwest. The temperature ruins your supplies so you have to have a controlled climate 24/7, in the shed. My husband had a beautiful shed built for me. I am using a bedroom instead because we couldn’t afford to keep heat and air conditioning going all the time.
