I never thought of it that way. My fiancé (now husband) and I were procrastinating about our wedding and then I got pregnant and decided to hurry up and get the damn thing done haha. It’s to sweet to think our child was at our wedding!
Everyone whose mad that Haley ended up with “the idiot boyfriend” is missing the point. Phil was “the idiot boyfriend” who ended up with Claire. It’s the circle of life. Think about how Jay truly thought Phil was somewhat of a dumbass through the entire run of this show....it’s history repeating itself. Only difference is that Phil is way way sexier than Dylan. And even though this show has truly gone downhill in the past couple seasons, this moment with Phil and Claire at the end when he touches her stomach was honestly one of the sweetest moments they had in this show.
Remember when she had the short blondish hair? Her character was definitely more developed in those episodes. It almost seems like they dumbed her down again.
I think the most developed parts of her character was when she was with Andy... I genuinly hoped she would've ended up with either him or Arvin rather than Dylan.

I've always liked that while Haley was basically the ditz archetype, they still made her cool. I'd say from the get go, she was always the most well-rounded of the Dunphy kids

Dylan is more interesting in the fact that even with that childish and careless personality he is preparing himself, studing and 100% convinced to have a family with Haley. I understand him because I do have his personality and that doesn’t mean I can’t be mature and grow up when the time comes.

People keep saying Andy “matured” Haley but all I could see how he made Haley flat just like himself. Dylan, on the other hand, made me laugh nearly all of his scenes, he was never boring. If I wanted to watch ordinary people I would watch around myself instead of watching a “sitcom”, lol.

And this relationship is similar to Claire and Phil's relationship. So I find this relationship better.
