      Why are police officers in most missions so fierce for the simplest things, as if they are entering a world war? Why don't they act conscientiously? This does not exist in Switzerland or New Zealand

    • @theflyingdutchman6424
      @theflyingdutchman6424 5 місяців тому +26

      @@Pi1997 because of the US gun laws. Every suspect is potentially armed, therefore officers must be more on edge. Moreover, the US criminal system is very punitive, and negatively skewed for poor people. Therefore, some reoffenders rather go down in a gunfight than back to prison, again meaning that officers need to watch out for their own safety more. Lastly, US officers are (sometimes) not as well trained as officers in Europe. (3 yrs vs 6 months training for example). This means that the skillset is more limited to tactical responses. However, in this case, they seemed relatively well trained, and rightfully on edge since dude was willing to die over a ticket

      I swear it is very sad
      I don't like to see these scenes in America
      The regime in Switzerland and New Zealand prohibits weapons, even for the police. They look at the suspect humanely above all else, even if the person is armed. They know how to act and the suspect does not die, unlike America.
      The people of New Zealand and Switzerland trust the police to a large extent, while in America they trust a very small percentage

My Guess is this was her case, which means she took the lead, which means they followed her and let them know what to do next. I'd say that you should be careful with these assumptions. There are videos of officers performing well, and videos of officers performing poorly. This is a case of the former...it's not the biggest mess, but it's definitely not a performance that Chicago can hang their hat on.
      It should also be noted, that unlike the UK, or Germany...the US is huge, and even inside a state, there is usually a notable difference in terms of how different departments run.

And keep in mind that he just left a court hearing for the same crime, possession of a firearm, and so on. He decided for himself how he wanted to leave this world. The shooting is justified. The traffic stop will be questionable. An unmarked unit pulling someone over for a seatbelt violation. The video shows they did not identify themselves as police officers when making contact. The lead officer, sounded female, she is in plainclothes with a ‘street clothes’ jacket covering her vest and LEO insignia. She was at the driver’s window, with her arms forward holding her weapon her jacket squished together would be blocking insignia. Her hat is not distinguishable in video to show if it has law enforcement insignia.
      The seatbelt violation can be an excuse. I wonder if the vehicle’s computer can show if it was fastened. My seatbelt alarm sounds continuously when not engaged.

Felon had ANOTHER gun with him in the vehicle. Felon didn't want to go BACK to jail so he did NOT comply. Felon fired 17 shots at cops. Cops returned fire to stop the threat according to SOP's. Felon STILL tried to drive away. Threat still not stopped. Felon got out of the vehicle to run. Threat still not stopped. Felon went down. Threat stopped. Cops stopped firing. THAT'S the real story.

    In the German Media , I heart about a case where another poor black individual was shot by police. An article portrayed the victim as a well-mannered/Model Student African American boy. It mentioned over 90 shots fired, suggesting overkill. However, after watching the video myself, it's clear the victim initiated gunfire toward the police, leaving no room for interpretation. It's evident that the police were forced to defend themselves, and portraying it otherwise is pure framing.
