I loved how she changed it for her Japanese fans so it isn't just the same song just in Japanese! It is like a gift/new single altogether! Ailee u go girl!
I prefer the mellow Japanese version more than the powerful original sometimes, but both version have their own charm. The Japanese beat is superb though (really, really like the use of bell sounds which really fit the feels of the song)
In my opinion, Ailee is the most successful 2012 debutee. I feel that she was the most successful in capturing the audience in both Korea and internationally, not just in one or the other. And here is a perfect example of her global spread, Ailee never disappoints :D
Both version has their own beauty but I gotta say I love this one . The beat gives it nice feeling with her voice and the meaning of the song . While the korean one has a more powerful feel .
Like this one better than the Korean version, my opinion is that the Korean version was like put together in a rush. Her singing, is like all power in the korean version. To me the Japanese is more of a greater piece, a put together version it has power but with a soft and sincere feeling like heaven itself . Just my opinion.
The Korean version has much more soul. What I don't like about this version is the same thing that I dislike about most Japanese productions, it's way too over dramatic. Sounds like something Ayumi Hamasaki would sing. It's just not as acoustic or real as the original. Funny thing is I can actually understand this version due to the language.
MaX Triumph Agree, it got that "Jpop" sound that the whole genre have. Nevertheless, this really felt like heaven. And yes, the Korean version has so much soul. I love both versions though.

I'm really liking the added Bells and Synth Pads instrumentation in this version. The korean version has this more "raw" sound that often relies on Ailee singing voice to carry the song, but this version feels more "complete" with sounds that seem to lift up with Ailee's singing voice, complementing it in a very nice way. If there was one thing I didn't like about the original version, it was how the song ended. The piano was too abrupt and felt like it was cut-off, but this version allows the piano AND the added Synth Pads to sort of "Ring" out into nothingness creating a mystical heaven like feel to the song to an already sad piece of music.
I don't know if it was the combination of the dark rooms, the white dress, or the title "Heaven" itself, but for the duration of this video, all I could think of is: "Ailee would be a perfect Melinda Gordon if Korea ever made a Korean version of Ghost Whisperer." Anyways, I CAN'T BELIEVE THERE'S A JAPANESE VERSION OF THIS SONG!!! :D

I'm going to say that it's the fact that your voice goes higher in a different language, because Ailee's voice is higher when speaking Korean compared to speaking English.
