Great video and review. I got this drone and it’s super fun to fly. Got a replacement from DEERC. First one wasn’t responsive and flew away. Second one is much better but I can’t get it to connect to the app so I can’t take pics or video. Not too much of a big deal in that sense but would like to use some of the other functions that are only available with the app. Also, trim doesn’t seem to work very well. I have to keep adjusting it.

Nice job with this little quad Ryan. The grass looks great but I noticed some brown patches in the yard, you should put down some seed because this is the time to do it if you haven't already.
That is my plan Greg. I lost some of the new yard due to the heat and dryness this summer. I didn't keep up with the watering well enough. I'm also going to put down fertilizer this fall. I may get some sod to patch some of the larger spots as well.

Did it record video for you? You're on iPhone though right? It showed it was recording video in the app to my Pixel 4a but there's no video to be found anywhere on my phone. Was really disappointed. Been many years since I've had that happen. Thanks for watching Robby!
@@RDsRCReviews yes, it recorded video to my iPhone. Video playback was great but quality coming from the camera ain’t nothing to right about, I’ve seen worse though!😆 Really sporty flier!👊🏼👍🏻😎💪🏼

Why the blue coler get black
Do voice gestures work? Also, I turned the drone, I didn’t know the way the drone is facing really mattered but it looked at me and charged forwards cutting my face like a rhino, that’s also how I learned to use guards
Yes the drone's direction reverses the controls if you yaw 180° unless you put the drone into headless mode though flying in headless mode won't teach you orientation. I don't think it can use voice gestures though I could be wrong though it likely can use hand gestures though both of those are gimmicks so they don't work well which is why I rarely test them.

Is the remote on this drone too difficult for a 5 year old? I know some are fairly simple and she’s been able to fly them just fine. Wanting to get her one with a camera.
Honestly from my experience any drone that isn't GPS is too difficult for a 5yr old but if you think she can fly a manual flying drone then the D20 controller will be as good as any other.
It’s really fun first one just broke but they sent a replacement and it’s amazing not good in wind tho

They are all about the same, they are toys. The Sansisco has an awful camera and has control issues when connected you Wi-Fi but if you disconnect from the Wi-Fi it is an amazing flyer. If you want to use the camera then go with the D20

I understand your concern but had you watched the entire video you would have noticed that I mentioned at the 2:06 mark that despite the app saying the video was being recorded there was nothing actually saved to the gallery on my phone. It seems to be an issue with the app. The only other thing I could have done was use a screen recorder but that would have shown all the icons and stuff within the app as well and I didn't know at the time I was filming this that the recorded video wouldn't save and I didn't feel like filming the entire video over again. I always show the recorded footage from the drone except when possible.

Crashed mine now it wont take off goes sideways on ground. Propellers still spin any ideas?
Try a gyro calibration and make sure the motors spin at full speed and be sure the props aren't damaged.

@@RDsRCReviews Damn I hit a wall and it fell so I pressed shut off but I held it too long and it stated again with the propeller against the wall....😩 harder to control than those cheap beginner helicopters

Done for I got that done for $70 it's so fun and even does voice talk but my voice talk isn't working like I even tried doing commands doesn't work tonight's video you make about this town can you tell me how to like make it do who the voice talk if it doesn't because mine doesn't work
I doubt that feature works. It is just a gimmick
I got mine today, it constantly drifts backwards & left so I have no confidence in it.

Sure, make sure you have calibrated the gyro and then if it still drifts backwards you'll need to give it some forward trim until it stops. Hope this helps!
@@RDsRCReviews thank for your reply. To calibrate the drone, what exactly do I need to do? I read the instructions & watched an unboxing video. I felt like I did the right thing but I'm not confident because it's my 1st drone.
I seen about trimming the drone, I press the trim button & then press in the opposite direction of the way it is drifting.

@@Alextheskater91 yep, they are not common in the rural areas but they are very common in St Louis and urban areas in the Midwest
Those are mostly touristy areas so it makes sense. We have those types of places here in Cali but the cheapest land we have is the desert. All the homes are spread out. The further you travel from the coast, the cheaper it gets in California 😅 but the weather!!! It’s amazing here in the spring time my bday 🎉

Is it waterproof
No, almost no drones are waterproof though some of the expensive have the electronics coated. That being said, this drone won't have a problem flying in the rain but if you submerge it in water it'll be ruined.
How long is the flight time
If you actually watch the video I tell you when it landed how long it flew.

@@leo28ification drones never record audio because all you would hear is the loud noise of the props.

5g cellular service has no impact on flying a drone. Yes, your S10 will work just fine.
