Sanda, watching this and listening to the beautiful music is so moving. I wonder what it would be like to have such a gift, to be able to turn a page into something like this - to really create something so absolutely beautiful. My gosh, I'm really moved by this piece. Thank you for sharing your talent because watching the process is mesmerizing.
Hi Sandra, I just finished an under the sea pic but mine doesn't look anywhere as beautiful as yours. I am a newbie. haha I didn't have enough variety in shells but I think I will do another one and see if I can improve after watching you. The picture is just lovely, I am a big fan !!
Sandra, your end result is totally stunning! I have a question - when do you know that you've added enough layers of color? As I was watching it seemed gorgeous at many points but each layer you added just multiplied the effect. I really struggle with color layering. Any suggestions?
Thank you so much Betty! The only answer to your question is practice, practice and again practice! LOL I know this is not the answer you want, but, believe me, it's the only way. Playing a lot will train your eye and one day you'll discover you know when a piece is ready and done.:) Learn a lot from youtube, take classes and experiment and play, my friend! :) Hugs, Sanda xxx
Thank you very much Lani! The seahorses I made using a silicone mould and air dry clay I bought on ebay. The big starfish I made myself using the same air dry clay. Hope this helps :) xx
Just amazing!
Beautiful, my favorite! But I understand Betty, it was beautiful early on!

Your work is wonderful, too fast to see the products used.
