Finally! Saying what majority think. I have never followed him, watched snippets of his videos. The black and white way of thinking , the manipulation…my sister has BPD and it didn’t take me very long to figure out who this guy is. Look, I’m not diagnosing but if you know, you know.
BPD as in BiPolar Disorder or Borderline Personality Disorder? As a retired Mental Health clinician I feel it's important to not use acronyms in the pursuit of clarity.
He definitely meant borderline personality disorder. And I want to say something somewhat levelheaded about what Scott is going through. And yes, those are the symptoms of BPD... When someone is being severely targeted by OSA fair game, it is an experience that you, nor anyone who hasn't experienced themselves, cannot possibly imagine or understand. It is brutal on the mind. Which is why they do it in the first place. To make someone so unstable that they become unpleasant to be around. And they become isolated. And no one trusts what they say. Especially the courts and authorities. No one in the current activism efforts has been targeted more than Scott. And we've seen it on camera. Scott, like anyone else, brought his own baggage to begin with. And I'm sure, that's part of the equation. But absolutely every human flaw in someone's character becomes a MOUNTAIN of dysfunction when OSA goes to work on them. Doesn't matter who it is. And OSA has their priorities. The biggest being severe court cases, like the Jane Doe's. And you wonder why those brave women do not engage publicly while going through this absolute nightmare with being fair gamed... They're burying their dead pets. Because OSA throws poison in their yards. Imagine the fear of going outside. Having children. Meeting new people. Being watched 24/7. No normal life in any sense of the word. But Scott's whole life IS being in public. So we get to see the frame-by-frame of watching him fall apart. And those same symptoms of BPD... that's the "OSA special #4" from the menu. Working ALL DAY LONG. He needs to hear the voice of reason. And understand that he can't see objective reality in this headspace. He's got a big heart. And that courage is great for facing such a despicable cult like Scientology. But it also means that when his compass loses it's lock on true north... It's going to be a big loud mess. And any self-destructive habits he may look to for self-soothing, can only lead to more chaos. Bad times for all involved. I fully agree with Aaron that Scott has done some really wonderful things in this space. And would love to see him wake up and realize that he's gone down the wrong path. And that's only happening because he hit his breaking point when OSA put their bullseye on him. And maybe he won't turn back around. But I don't blame the man for one second. Someone THIS unstable could never have accomplished, or been able to handle, what he has done prior to the OSA-induced breakdown. It's very frustrating. But I just want to remind everyone to remember their empathy. And remember how many people the evil, cowardly zealots at OSA have targeted and destroyed. And that is why we're here in the first place. We'll see, one way or another. "RIP" or "welcome back, king!" It's too soon to tell. I dare to hope for the latter. But I'm not going to hold my breath.

As has been said by others, it seems Scotty has a pattern, and I'm not even sure if he's self aware enough to join the dots, but whilst I do think his intentions are good, he ends up polluting each new thing in the end due to what in my unqualified opinion may be an unmanaged mental health condition. He becomes paranoid and whilst there are always a few 'bad actors' embedded into every movement, somewhere, he circles the waggons and starts throwing ammo at everyone. Whatever the course of action, it would probably work best as a "group" effort: either EVERYBODY stands up to him (i.e., safety in numbers) or EVERYBODY just block him and his enablers; no engaging, no responding, nothing. But everybody will handle it as they choose, and I wish them all the best--even Scotty. In any case, I respect Aaron so much for speaking out. That's not an easy thing to do. A lot of people are saying DOA has a mental illness but here’s the thing…he’s so manipulative about how he tries to divide & conquer. Like Aaron said, he causes division under the pretense of “asking questions.” He also takes a smidgen of truth (to make whatever he’s saying seem more credible) and then twists it into something completely different from what actually happened…which tells me that it’s 💯 intentional, he knows exactly what he’s doing, and he’s crafty enough to control it. Not saying he doesn’t have any mental issues at all, but lots of people do and they don’t go about trying to destroy innocent people.

Our family was afraid of her she was like a terrorist but not me . I called her on her lies and she hated it so there were decades on and off she wouldn't speak to me. He drank to tolerate her ,he said if he divorced her she take everything but his car .After he died I emotionally divorced myself from her cuz she was making me really I'll. It was the most Liberating thing I've ever done .I got over the guilt real quick when my peace healed my heart . My brother and sisters are so messed up. My you her sister can't have a relationship with me cuz she's afraid of my truth. She was the baby and the only one my mom treated with any kindness at all, they were drinking buddies for years.My mom left all the properties a duplex ,a waterfront lot and over a million n insurance and savings My sister did not share that inheritance with us . I let it go . My mental health is more important than dying of anger . But my mom did it to be spiteful and hurtful I won't give her the satisfaction even though she died all alone . I have PS TD so I read the room very well. I was uncomfortable with Scott from the beginning. I couldn’t understand why all of you loved him so much. He is just like my mother. He definitely meant borderline personality disorder. And I want to say something somewhat levelheaded about what Scott is going through. And yes, those are the symptoms of BPD...
When someone is being severely targeted by OSA fair game, it is an experience that you, nor anyone who hasn't experienced themselves, cannot possibly imagine or understand. It is brutal on the mind. Which is why they do it in the first place. To make someone so unstable that they become unpleasant to be around. And they become isolated. And no one trusts what they say. Especially the courts and authorities. No one in the current activism efforts has been targeted more than Scott. And we've seen it on camera.
Scott, like anyone else, brought his own baggage to begin with. And I'm sure, that's part of the equation. But absolutely every human flaw in someone's character becomes a MOUNTAIN of dysfunction when OSA goes to work on them. Doesn't matter who it is.
And OSA has their priorities. The biggest being severe court cases, like the Jane Doe's. And you wonder why those brave women do not engage publicly while going through this absolute nightmare with being fair gamed... They're burying their dead pets. Because OSA throws poison in their yards. Imagine the fear of going outside. Having children. Meeting new people. Being watched 24/7. No normal life in any sense of the word.
But Scott's whole life IS being in public. So we get to see the frame-by-frame of watching him fall apart. And those same symptoms of BPD... that's the "OSA special #4" from the menu. Working ALL DAY LONG.
He needs to hear the voice of reason. And understand that he can't see objective reality in this headspace. He's got a big heart. And that courage is great for facing such a despicable cult like Scientology. But it also means that when his compass loses it's lock on true north... It's going to be a big loud mess. And any self-destructive habits he may look to for self-soothing, can only lead to more chaos. Bad times for all involved.
I fully agree with Aaron that Scott has done some really wonderful things in this space. And would love to see him wake up and realize that he's gone down the wrong path. And that's only happening because he hit his breaking point when OSA put their bullseye on him.
And maybe he won't turn back around. But I don't blame the man for one second. Someone THIS unstable could never have accomplished, or been able to handle, what he has done prior to the OSA-induced breakdown.
It's very frustrating. But I just want to remind everyone to remember their empathy. And remember how many people the evil, cowardly zealots at OSA have targeted and destroyed. And that is why we're here in the first place.
We'll see, one way or another. "RIP" or "welcome back, king!" It's too soon to tell. I dare to hope for the latter. But I'm not going to hold my breath.

As has been said by others, it seems Scotty has a pattern, and I'm not even sure if he's self aware enough to join the dots, but whilst I do think his intentions are good, he ends up polluting each new thing in the end due to what in my unqualified opinion may be an unmanaged mental health condition.

Whatever the course of action, it would probably work best as a "group" effort: either EVERYBODY stands up to him (i.e., safety in numbers) or EVERYBODY just block him and his enablers; no engaging, no responding, nothing. But everybody will handle it as they choose, and I wish them all the best--even Scotty. In any case, I respect Aaron so much for speaking out. That's not an easy thing to do. I have so much love and respect for this community that any attempt to sow discord is disheartening. But it'll work out. This by far isn't the worse thing the ex-scientologists have been through. They're resilient.

A lot of people are saying DOA has a mental illness but here’s the thing…he’s so manipulative about how he tries to divide & conquer. Like Aaron said, he causes division under the pretense of “asking questions.” He also takes a smidgen of truth (to make whatever he’s saying seem more credible) and then twists it into something completely different from what actually happened…which tells me that it’s 💯 intentional, he knows exactly what he’s doing, and he’s crafty enough to control it. Not saying he doesn’t have any mental issues at all, but lots of people do and they don’t go about trying to destroy innocent people.

Our family was afraid of her she was like a terrorist but not me . I called her on her lies and she hated it so there were decades on and off she wouldn't speak to me. He drank to tolerate her ,he said if he divorced her she take everything but his car .After he died I emotionally divorced myself from her cuz she was making me really I'll. It was the most Liberating thing I've ever done .I got over the guilt real quick when my peace healed my heart . My brother and sisters are so messed up. My you her sister can't have a relationship with me cuz she's afraid of my truth. She was the baby and the only one my mom treated with any kindness at all, they were drinking buddies for years.My mom left all the properties a duplex ,a waterfront lot and over a million n insurance and savings My sister did not share that inheritance with us . I let it go . My mental health is more important than dying of anger . But my mom did it to be spiteful and hurtful I won't give her the satisfaction even though she died all alone . The rest of us were kicked to the curb
